TAXED TO THE MAX

Filing Your Returns This Year Is Not That Easy By Larry Blustein sfsuntimes@aol.com If you are reading this story today and still have not filed your taxes, you are NOT alone. In less than two weeks from now (April 15) - the deadline for filing our 2018 tax returns will be here, and many of us have not started the process for a number of reasons. At a time when many are still struggling to make ends meet - in an economy that is ever changing - this is the time of year you just do not look forward to. Blaming the current administration for a number of things may be warranted, but when it comes to filing your taxes, this is all on you - and your accountant.

While the government has programs that are designed to help us file our returns, being creative, informed and guarding

Spring Weather Is Very Unpredictable When Protecting Your Home or Condo From The Elements, Call 1st Priority Restoration At 1-800-617-1112 - Today!

Believe it or not - we are in the first week of April and there is some cool weather that is still hanging around south Florida. But for those of us who have been living here for a number of years, we are not fooled by the 70’s, when we understand that the 80’s and 90’s are just around the corner. At 1st Priority Restoration, knowing the weather in this area is so very important. Even though we live here in this little slice of heaven that we call south Florida, all of us know that hurricane

season is right around the corner. Over the next two months, as spring starts to give way to those long, hot and stormy summer days and nights, we are reminded that living here does come with a price. Even before hurricane season arrives, spring rains are still strong storms that cause flooding and even damage from high winds that occur when the cooler air and warmer air mix. As much of the country is slowly seeing the weather change for the better, we are going to soon see some after-

noon storms - some that will cause flooding and plenty of damage. 1st Priority Restoration has been in business long enough to know that weather plays a major role in our lifestyle. It is something that we have to live with - and while the calendar says the first week of April - and Easter and Passover have yet to arrive - we are always ready for the elements. 1st Priority Restoration is indeed a company that everyone looks to year round - and not only between June and late November - during hurricane sea-

son, helping you rebuild and pick up the pieces should a storm threaten. Living in this part of the country, you already know that there doesn’t have to be a tropical system to cause flooding and everything that goes along with it. Providing a complete cleaning job has become 1st Priority Restoration’s trademark. What continues to separate them from anyone else is they can take care of all of your cleaning and water damage problems - as well as conduct-
