For a nine month period - parents, students and teachers will watch their lives change - as school dominates the landscape, and becomes the conversation each and every day. For parents Mike and Mindy Cross of Hollywood, they are ready to send their third child off to face a new world where mom and dad are not going to be around every second for advice and decision making.

New Exhibit opening at the ArtsPark at Young Circle Gallery

Hollywood - The ArtsPark at Young Circle Gallery is hosting an extraordinary art show entitled “Variations on the same Subjects: People, Nature and Geometry.” This exhibition, presented by Contemporary Art Projects USA, showcases twentyone contemporary emerging and career artists, widely exhibited in the United States and abroad, unique and excellent in technique and artistic proposal. The focus of the exhibition is on unique works of art in which the artist presents his/her point of view in subjects like nature, human beings, abstract and/or geometric art. The exhibition opens August 19th and will continue through September 13th. The public is invited to the opening reception which will take place at the ArtsPark at Young Circle Gallery, One Young Circle, US-1 and Hollywood Boulevard, on Saturday, August 19, 2017 during the monthly Downtown Hollywood Art Walk which runs from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Headquartered in Miami, Contemporary Art Projects, USA, is dedicated to nurturing new contemporary art by providing exhibition opportunities and resources for emerging artists and curators. What the Cross family has found out is that when you have kids, and they start school, lives change and what used to be the norm, is no longer what everyone had gotten used to. “We know the drill, and if it isn’t one thing, it is certainly another,” Mindy explained. “Our daughter started five years ago, and we knew that she would be our test child. Everything that happened with her, school related, was what we would use when our other children started school.” The Cross family will tell you that
