The horror continues in Hollywood

As the 12th resident of the Rehabilitation Center of Hollywood Hills died over the weekend, familes want answers - now! By Larry Blustein sfsuntimes@aol.com Hollywood - It’s been over three weeks since Hurricane Irma brushed South Florida and one community still tries to come to grips with the devastating tragedy. As the 12th resident of the Rehabilitation Center of Hollywood Hills died over the weekend, that heartwrenching feeling once again hit those who have been following this story that has been in the national news much for the past three weeks. When 57 year old Dolores Biamonte passed away, it continues to bring this tragedy to the front of the line. It further turned that proverbial knife in the gut of peo-

ple in South Florida who watched this story unfold. “This is just too much to take,” Hollywood resident Colleen McDermott said. “I live two blocks from this facility and I cannot get myself to come down 35th Avenue any more. Such a sad story” The feelings about this tragedy are indeed something that everyone is talking about it. This did not have to happen, and while the blame can be pointed in so many directions, it has to start at the top, and that is what has haunted so many of the families who lost loved ones.
