Voting Has Never Been This Important Too Much Is Depending On The Outcome of The November 6 Midterm Election By Larry Blustein sfsuntimes@aol.com Over the years, politics has been the thorn in the side of just about anyone and everyone. No matter if it’s the local homeowners association, the youth soccer league up the road or the school PTA, politics rears its unwanted head in our daily lives. That kind of politics is truly petty and meaningless in the grand scope of things, and pales - in a major way - to what we face on Tuesday, Nov. 6. It is the most important and vital midterm election that many generations have ex-

perienced. What this country has become is split down the middle. No gray areas - it’s either black or white, my way or no way. It’s leaders trying to grab the spotlight for their gain and not ours, trying to get higher profile positions. This is a country that will never trust one another. Republican, Democrat or any other party that may be around is in it for their own agenda - and certainly not what will be best for you and I. “This is a nation that is falling apart and certainly not working for each

Auto Tags of Hallandale Has A New Location!

Longtime Owner Randy Giunto Provides Customer Service The Way It Used To Be If you want to call Randy Giunto old school, go ahead. This lifelong Hallandale resident will take it all day long. With his family roots in the area for over a half century, Randy has taken pride in everything he has done in the community. In fact, he attended elementary and middle school right here in the City. What he has done since 1990, is build a loyal customer base from his Auto Tags of Hallandale office. It is there where his ‘old school’ approach to doing business and being part of the community started to kick in. The experience of helping clients with a tag, title, renewal or assist them with the proper motor vehicle documents has earned him a solid reputation and con-

tinues to bring in new customers all the time. Randy has truly made a huge impact in a community that has grown through the years. “I never left,” Randy said with a smile. “To be a part of this community for so long has really meant so much to me and our family. Through the years, even though we were based in Hallandale, we started to pick up new customers from all over.” ON THE MOVE With 31 years in the business, Randy has always remained one phone call away - and nothing has changed. He is still the same guy who grew up at City

Hurricane Michael Brings Up Some Horrible Memories

1st Priority Restoration Has The Experience You Can Count On. Call 1-800-617-1112! We saw it for ourselves. It was mind-boggling and familiar at the same time. When Hurricane Michael blew into Florida’s Panhandle last week, it was Hurricane Andrew all over again. Storm surge, the highest of winds and tornadoes pouring down in a 200 mile stretch of some the world’s best and most popular beach destinations. From Port St. Joe and Apalachicola - to Mexico Beach and Panama City,

the devastation that followed was Hurricane Andrew like. And while the population base is nowhere what it is in south Florida, the very fact that it happened and changed lives forever, is a reason that while many people brush these storms off and think it can’t happen to them - it did happen to them. As we went through many of our close calls through the years here in south Florida, the damage that followed the storms, such as Hurri-

cane Irma last year, has put our homes and businesses in a position of developing mold and mildew, having leaks and flooding - and coming up with problems that are somewhat overwhelming. When it comes to controlling problems, nobody has a pulse on the solution like 1st Priority Restoration. Just having their number (1-800-6171112) at your fingertips will save you money and lighten the stress level.
