Indaba Gallery returns to Downtown Hollywood with unique African Art & Artifacts
HOLLYWOOD - Indaba Gallery, specializing in authentic African art and artifacts, has returned to Downtown Hollywood and reopened at a new location at 609 N. Dixie Highway. Gallery owner Brian Coleman, who for several years had set up shop on Harrison Street before relocating her import business out of the area, searched for a new location for almost a year before finding the ideal space in Downtown Hollywood. The Dixie Highway location offered great visibility and convenient onsite parking for Indaba Gallery’s customers, who come from “all over South Florida,” Coleman said. “Downtown Hollywood’s location between Miami and Fort Lauderdale and easy access to I-95 and other major roads was another important factor.” Indaba Gallery, which was founded in Miami in 1994, celebrates the style and power of ethnic art from many African cultures, especially South Africa. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– HOLLYWOOD, Page 4B
