17th St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival in Downtown Hollywood HOLLYWOOD - The City of Hollywood, Hibernians of Hollywood and the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency team up to host this annual, free celebration of all things Irish. This year’s parade and festival will run from noon to 6 p.m. in the heart of Downtown Hollywood. The parade begins at 1:00 p.m. and will head down Hollywood Boulevard to Harrison Street between 19th and 21st Avenues. The Miami International Piano Festival presents three master pianists By Howard Rosen and Mark Patrick The Miami International Piano Festival has announced a four concert Tribute to Sergei Rachmaninoff and Alexander Scriabin at the Amaturo Theatre, Broward Center for the Performing Arts. No glasses for the first time in 50 years Dave Forchin can look back at his childhood in Jamaica now and laugh. But it wasn't funny when he couldn't see what the teacher was writing. The 62-year-old south Florida resident remembers it like it was yesterday, attending primary school at the age of 12 and not being able to see. "That was when I went to the eye doctor and found out that I needed glasses to see and be able to do better in school," Forchin recalled.
