Community pride for St. Patrick’s Day By Larry Blustein sfsuntimes@aol.com HOLLYWOOD - Today is officially St. Patrick’s Day, but for some residents, it’s the culmination of a week-long celebration that began last Sunday. The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival filled the streets of Downtown Hollywood, and for the 18th year, this quality event certainly did not disappoint. In fact, record crowds and beautiful weather ushered in this festive holiday. For Kathy Anderson of Hollywood, the walk from her new condo was just four blocks - and the new resident of the area could not have been any more proud that she and her husband made the right move to purchase in the heart of this progressive community. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– ST.
