Fraud Seminar was innovative and very helpful to businesses and residents

On May 14th, Franky's Sports Bar at Gulfstream Park was the place to be for a FREE Fraud Seminar that was a service to the residents and business owners. Brought to you by the Hallandale Beach Chamber of Commerce, the event put a bright spotlight on fraud and offered a number of guest speakers from the U.S. Secret Service and E Chip Miami. The U.S. is the last major market to still use the oldfashioned swipe-and-sign system, and it’s a big reason why almost half the world’s credit card fraud happens in America, despite the country being home to about a quarter of all credit card transactions. President Michael Fucheck and Hallandale Beach Mayor Joy Cooper presented Jesus Abikarram, Liberty Tax Service, with the Small Business Person of the Year Award.

Keller Williams Elite Memorial Day Weekend Properties Gives Back Tribute in Hollywood NORTH MIAMI BEACH - On May 14th realtors from the Keller Williams Elite Properties in Aventura took a day to give back to the community. The day was spent at The Ancient Spanish Monastery located at 16744 W. Dixie Hwy in Norh Miami Beach. Dozens of team members donated their time and money to help a local charity that feeds and supplies the homeless with necessities for daily living. They also planted flowers in the garden, made care packages for the homeless and built a labyrinth moving brick by brick as a team from one location to the other, leveling off the area for the labyrinth and finishing it up with mulch. This will certainly be a great place for the community and many faiths to come and meditate, reflect and find spiritual healing. WHAT IS RED DAY? Introduced in 2009, RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is Keller Williams Realty's annual day of service. Each year on the second Thursday of May, associates spend the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities. RED Day is just another example of the commitment to each other and to the cities and towns where they live and work. If you wish to help in future Red Day events or need some professional advice about a property in your area feel free to give the office a call at 305-931-2224.
