What Do Doctors Think About The COVID-19 Vaccine Jab?

“Bad things happen to people all of the time and sometimes, right after they have had a shot. The shot may have had nothing to do with it.”

Jane M. Orient, M.D. Many patients tell us that their doctors are pressuring them to get the COVID-19 Vaccine Jab. The American Medical Association (AMA) claims that 96 percent of doctors are already, fully vaccinated, themselves. So, if 9.6 out of 10—not a mere 4 out of 5 doctors recommend something, it must be “right for you.”

As far as I have heard, the message from state and local medical societies is “take the lead, get your shot, volunteer at a vaccination center, educate your hesitant patients.”

There is probably some person with an M.D. degree backing up your employer’s threat to fire you, or a college’s threat to deny your child an education, some

committee’s decision to deny your medical exemptions. It might appear that doctors are all “speaking with one voice,” as the AMA constantly urges.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, Bill Gates, Joe Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, Klaus Schwab, executives at Pfizer, at other manufacturers and the anonymous, Big Tech “factcheckers,” they all want you to get the COVID-19 Vaccine Jab. In addition to threats, there are incentives: free French fries in New York City; free ice cream for unaccompanied children in Canada; or a chance to win a scholarship, a firearm, or $1 million. One medical association offers permission to attend a celebratory “happy hour” (drive there, drink and drive?).

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) decided to check out the AMA’s 96 percent claim. We recall that the “one voice” has sometimes been wrong and the four percent, were right.

It turns out that the AMA’s 300 survey respondents were not inclusive of all doctors. In the AAPS survey, nearly 60 percent of some 700 respondents said they were NOT “fully vaccinated.” Of these, 80 percent said “I believe the risk of shots, outweighs risk of the disease.”

Both physicians and nonphysicians were invited to submit comments about side effects in patients that they were aware of.

More than 2,500 did so and these are available, just as entered—no screening, editing or fact-checking. They mention deaths from heart failure and other causes; an amputated leg due to blood clots; strokes, paralysis, brain fog, emotional disturbances, other neurological problems; intestinal inflammation necessitating, the removal of part of the small intestine; menstrual problems and miscarriages;

About The Author: Brian Shaw is a school behaviorist who wrote and performed, Spoken Word poetry in the earlyto-mid 1990’s, but, stopped after too many friends and fellow artists, had passed away. As we all are shocked and saddened by the horrific collapse of the Champlain Tower, my prayers go out to all that have lost loved ones. I want to send special condolences to the Tennenhaus Family who lost a sister and brother-in-law, Reb Tzvi and Itty Ainsworth. Rabbi and Rebbetzin Tennenhaus have become an integral part of our community. Their religious leadership and altruism have become a beacon for so many. I also want to thank, The Hallandale Beach Police Department that has been assisting the City of Surfside and the recovery crews.

I know how concerned, many of our condominium owners are.

Our residents can be confident, that our City has been working to

assure that all buildings, are up to date with their inspections and those that are not in compliance, will be addressed. We have set up an entire landing page with information, on our web-site at: www.cohb.org. Sadly, we do not know for sure, why the building collapsed, but it is pointing to lack of maintenance, which is what led to structural failures.

40-year inspections can cost, millions of dollars. Boards and unit owners are often at odds, when it comes to the money required that makes the buildings whole. They fight the boards, do recalls and hire attorneys to fight against assessments, when boards are required to maintain the buildings, just like taxes. No one likes to levy them or pay for them, but, they are what main-

tains, our services. Many unit owners can afford assessments, but, others simply cannot, which is creating a very complex set of issues, by this catch 22.

Many of our unit owners that live in our condominiums, are retirees that are on fixed incomes. They moved here, with the hope, to live out their golden years in peace. With Social Security, not keeping up with the cost of living and with health insurance costs rising, many are living paycheck to paycheck and are faced with a large financially devastating assessment.

I am aware, that one building in Hallandale Beach, is having major issues, due to unit owners defaulting on their payments.

The condo went bankrupt and now, is in receivership. They are

working hard to perform work and get through the process.

Everything for them is more complex, than ever, since the board does not hold any power to execute contracts. Everything must go through the receiver.

Senior poverty is growing.

There is now a term for it, “Silver Tsunami.” During the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, it was interesting to find out where the major demand for assistance came from. One would think, it is mainly west, but, data has shown, this is citywide. Dr. Earle shared with me, at the time of pointing out facts for the data drawn up, for the census, it showed that our seniors, are living on the east side of the city, in condominiums, that are at the poverty level. This fact, com-

bined with 40-year inspections, has really set off an alarm bell for me.

This week, I scheduled a Zoom call with The Broward County Human Services, to discuss the COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery Funding, what resources are available for our seniors, when it comes to housing issues. I also have reached out to Broward County, Senator, Steve Geller to discuss, setting up a meeting with our local mayors to address the resources for inspections and building services. Our City, has currently been inundated with permit requests, also, we recently let our Building Officials go and two Permit Clerks quit. We are doing a total revamp of our department and hiring Permit Inspectors. Like all businesses, it has been difficult with hiring staff, in the building, it is getting even more difficult.

We are bound by the Board of Rules and Appeals. BORA is statewide, but, each county has a separate board.

The Broward’s Board has handcuffed the cities, when it comes to hiring experts.

Obviously, they have to pass a test and be certified, but Broward County requires, years of government experience. For example, I could be a Structural Engineer, that built skyscrapers in New York for years, but I could not work in a city in Broward without having any, government experience. I have asked Broward’s Mayor to work with the city’s to ensure that we can all have flexibility, when it comes to hiring individuals to work in a building. Please remember that the City will be hosting a special telephone Town Hall meeting to discuss the Citywide On-Street Parking Program, on Monday, July 19th, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

For small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofit organizations, the SBA offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans to help meet working capital needs caused by the disaster.

Economic Injury Disaster Loan assistance is available regardless of whether the business suffered any physical property damage.

“Loans up to $200,000 are available to homeowners to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate.

Homeowners and renters are eligible for loans up to $40,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property,” said Kem Fleming, center director of SBA’s Field Operations Center East in Atlanta.

Applicants may be eligible for a loan amount increase up to 20 percent of their physical damages, as verified by the SBA for mitigation purposes. Eligible mitigation improvements may include a safe room or storm shelter, sump pump, French drain or retaining wall to help protect property and occupants from future damage caused by a similar disaster.

Interest rates are as low as 2.88 percent for businesses, 2.00 percent for nonprofit organizations, and 1.625 percent for homeowners and renters with terms up to 30 years. Loan amount and terms are set by the SBA and are based on each applicant’s financial condition.

Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at DisasterLoan Assistance.sba.gov/ela/s and should apply under SBA declaration # 17005, not for the COVID19 incident. Disaster loan information and application forms may also be obtained by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800877-8339 for the deaf and hardof-hearing) or by sending an email to DisasterCustome rService@sba.gov. mayor from 2003 to 2014 shared a few anecdotes and details about those early days at the luncheon last week. Mr Edelcup, spoke as a true and bold pioneer when he shared the story of how Sunny Isles Beach had dropped in stature by the early 1990’s from its original glory as the

place to see and be seen in the 1940’s when it was the place to be and be seen of all of Florida’s beach resorts. “We were the envy of all beach front resort towns until slowly the way american and foreign families vacationed began to shift to Disney’s powerful and trendy allure.”

Slowly a decay began to fall over the area to the point where hotel properties and our sandy sidewalks of Sunny Isles began to be snapped up by hungry developers at below market prices and even prostitutes began outnumbering tourists as its citizenry realized they had to take

matters into their own hands.

A push to break away also meant a push to even jettison the name Sunny Isles as Edelcup mentioned in his speech that “The people that did choose to break away wanted to join the Aventura bandwagon.” And so with a promise to eventually do just that they initially tabled the Aventure name and incorporated it as Sunny Isles Beach with the promise that in the near future they would vote to rename it.

Edelcup added; “It never got brought up formally after incorporation so we kept on with Sunny Isles Beach!” Also on hand at the luncheon was Lewis Thaler the vice mayor and now Vice President of Social Citizens board who piggybacked on Edelcup’s assessment and added that to pull away from Dade County was both easy and a no brainer. “You have to understand that we had to do something. We were not being treated fairly even when it came to basic services. We would of course not have any clue of the level of expertise we would have to take on over the upcoming years but we knew it was better than seeing our paradise run amok.” And indeed they did.

From the allure of the quick buck property owners were susceptible to quick lucrative payouts. It would take years before Sunny Isles Beach saw their population and reputation skyrocket. By the new millenium Sunny Isles had

been saved and the community began being known once again as The City of Sun and Sea. It is no surprise that Social Citizens was born (on March 10th 2011) within their city limits and chose to headquarter right next door to City Hall. But director Stubbulo explains that in the future plans are afoot to grow past those boundaries; “Remember when we started we didn’t want to be pigeonholed to just Sunny Isles, in fact we are seeing now some of our members are located in locales far away from the beach even deep inland. Which makes sense as our name was purposefully chosen as Social Citizens of Southeast Florida and this upcoming year we intend to grow into that zone by some exciting promotional materials we have planned and tours that stretch from here to Key West.”

At the end of the lunches several members like Gloria Ezrin along with Marvin Zubisky wished it to not come to an end.

“Now I wish I had planned to stay longer but I’m headed back to New York in a week.
