Hallandale football gets ready for new season

Last Saturday, Hallandale High's football team joined 104 other south Florida high school programs from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, who took part in the Third Annual Miami Dolphins Media Day at Nova Southeastern University in Davie. The Chargers, who finished 10-1 last year under head coach Dameon Jones, brought a number of players, including Joshua Hammond, Chris Cotto, Utah commits Tyler Huntley and Demari Simpkins, and Virginia-bound standout Neru N'Shaka.
