Some face obstacles that make it harder for them to find the right family. Two such pets, Rio and Royette, are cur rently at the Humane Society of Broward County (HSBC), waiting for their forever homes. These loving animals have unique sto ries that deserve to be shared and with your help, their lives could be transformed.

Despite his age and a condition that may scare some away, Rio has a lot of life left to live, but he’s been waiting far too long for someone to give him a chance. He’s been at the shelter since December, and as each day passes, it seems like potential adopters simply overlook him.

Hallandale Beach is a national organization that police departments in different cities across the country implement to foster a greater connection between Law Enforcement, cities, and communities through recreational sports. The event features a robust Resource Fair, entertainment, field games, prizes, food and much more on April 5th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., in Hallandale Beach at O.B. Johnson Park 1000 Northwest 8th Avenue, Hallandale Beach, Florida 33009, the event is free. PAL runs throughout the year, offering sports and activities that children can choose from each

month, such as baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, track and field, volleyball and much more.

During this event, the Healthy Futures Initiative program will address the impact of health and wellness in our communities as well as promote positive community interactions through a collective community care project. Our focus is on health, unity, activity and resilience. Last year, our event had over 2,000 attendees, reached over 4,000 residents and we served over 500 families with the onsite Resource Fair. We also had the opportunity to provide trees to residents through our Green Initiative. Our online community continued to enjoy our Resource Fair vendors beyond the event.

We are expecting an increase in our in-person attendees and community. The community has expressed the need for this event due to its positive impact. Hallandale Beach is home to students and families in Hallandale Beach and the surrounding cities such as Hollywood Beach, West Park, Miramar and Dania Beach. South Florida Fights Food Insecurity With Special Events This Spring

Feeding South Florida – the leading hunger-relief organization serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties – is offering the community ways to help fight food insecurity this Spring. Feeding South Florida will host a series of events, including a Women’s History Month Luncheon, 365K Meal Packing Challenge, Outrun Hunger Broward County, Volunteer Appreciation Week, Tacos & Tequila, Network Miami and more.

The funds raised will support Feeding South Florida’s mission to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.

Fat Ham transforms Shakespeare’s Hamlet into an over-the-top tale set in a North Carolina BBQ pit. With a twist, the Danish castle becomes a Southern backyard barbecue, and Juicy, a Black, gay southern kid, navigates familial legacies and a ghostly demand for vengeance. The clash of generations unfolds in this awardwinning adaptation, exploring the complexities of identity and violence.

Jesse Green, Theater Critic for The New York Times wrote, “That Fat Ham achieves its happy, even joyful, ending honestly, without denying the weight of forces that make Hamlet feel just as honest, is a sign of how capacious and original the writing is, growing the skin of its own necessity instead of merely burrowing into Shakespeare’s.”

T.M. Pride, Producing Artistic Director for Brévo Theatre and Director of this Fat Ham effort, shared, “This production is a testament to the power of reimagining stories through fresh cultural lenses. Fat Ham brings a dynamic and relevant perspective to a classic work, making it accessible and resonant for today’s audiences. Once Fat Ham completes its Broward run, it will move to the prestigious GableStage Theatre Company.

Toddra Brunson (Rabby) is a seasoned actress with over 12 years of experience in theater and film. She was most recently seen as Cedella Marley in Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds (City Theater). She’s also performed a wide range of roles including Villager in Black Nativity, Samuel Langley in Kitty Hawk, The Washing Machine from Caroline or Change (Actors Playhouse) and Martha Faye in Girls of Summer, Mama Euralie in Once On This Island, Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, Kunto in Dahomey Warriors and the principal role as Aida. She also performed as Director in the Carbonell nominee debut musical One More Yesterday (The Foundry) and Summer Shorts Homegrown Edition. Brunson is also featured in a Film Web series To Each His Own for 3 Seasons and in Single, Taken, Other as well as the short film Black and Blue.

Haitian-born, South Florida-based actor Henry Cadet (Juicy) was last seen in Why Mosquitoes Buzz (Florida Children’s Theatre) and Heroes in My House (Fantasy Theatre Factory). He has also performed as Larry from Company, Akosua from Oskuneru (Maroon Isle Productions), Mr. Bennet from Pride & Prejudice, The Three Messketeers (Fantasy Theatre Factory) and Stephen’s: A Love Story (Abre Camino Collective).

Melvin Huffnagle (Rev/Papa) is happy to return to GableStage where he was last seen as Shawn in King James and as August Wilson in last season’s How I Learned What I Learned. For over 20 years, he has worked professionally as an actor in New York City and is a 10-year member of The Layon Gray American Theatre where he originated numerous roles in the company’s many Off-Broadway productions including Gus in Cowboy, Ben Coffey III in The Kings of Harlem Coach, and as Harlen Davis in Searching for Willie Lynch. Huffnagle also appeared as Jeremiah Jones in the company’s long-running and award-winning Black Angels Over Tuskegee. He has also appeared as Memphis in Two Trains Running (The M Ensemble). His film and television credits include Strip Search (directed by Sidney Lumet), Law and Order SVU, The Family Business, and the award-winning short film Brooklyn In July. Huffnagle is a member of SAG and Actors Equity, a member of the National Michael Chekhov Association and currently serves as an assistant professor of acting in FIU’s theatre department.

Mikhael Mendoza (Tio) has provided the voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors (Loxen Productions) and has worked with Fantasy Theatre Factory in many shows including Little Monster Tales, as King Compost/ The Dirty Duke in The Three Messketeers and Heroes in My House. He also performed as Victor in Jealousy and as the titular Don Juan in Don Juan: Pride and Paradise (Maroon Isle Productions).

Olivier, Elliot Norton, Audelco and Ovation award nominee April Nixon (Tedra) returns to perform in Fat Ham. Her Broadway and national tour credits include Damn Yankees (opposite Jerry Lewis), The Dancer’s Life (opposite Chita Rivera), Smokey Joe’s Cafe, 9 to 5, FOSSE, The Wiz, Cats, Tommy, Mamma Mia, Sistas, Crowns, Sweet Charity, Caroline or Change, and Dreamgirls. Her television credits include Law & Order SVU/Criminal Intent, The Dave Chappelle Show and The Wire and film credits include Malcolm X, Man On The Moon, The Perfect Find and Two Degrees. Nixon has worked with numerous show business legends including Anna Deveare Smith, Spike Lee, Regina Taylor, Gwen Verdon, Walter Bobbie, Sheldon Epps, Des McAnuff, Ann Reinking, George Faison and Michael Peters.

“Who Made the Potato Salad?” will take place on April 27th at Island City Stage and on May 25th at GableStage. Participate in a lively community gathering where we dish out good vibes, great conversations and, of course, a little friendly debate over who really makes the best potato salad! Come hungry for connection, stay for the laughs, and let’s break bread (and maybe settle some family recipes once and for all).

“Can We Talk? A Ham-plified Conversation” will take place on May 23rd at GableStage. Moderated by Matt Anderson, Executive Director of Mosaic Miami, this postshow conversation will address navigating generational differences and LGBTQ+ acceptance within the Black family structure. Fat Ham is presented by an arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. The play runs for one hour and 35 minutes with no intermission.

On Friday, March 14th, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the community is invited to join Feeding South Florida’s 2025 Q1 365K Corporate Meal Packing Challenge. This is the first of four quarterly challenges in 2025 and is a unique opportunity to make a difference, network with likeminded corporate teams and engage in some friendly competition—all while learning more about food insecurity in South Florida. Participants will start the day with light refreshments and snacks, followed by a Lunch and Learn presentation to gain insights into Feeding South Florida’s mission and how volunteer efforts directly impact food insecurity in the community. They’ll enjoy an inspiring talk from a Feeding South Florida special guest. Each of Feeding South Florida’s warehouses in Pembroke Park and Boynton Beach will compete to see which team can pack the most pounds of food. Each hour, Feeding South Florida will provide live updates on which location is leading. At the end of the challenge, the winning warehouse will be crowned the 2025 Q1 Champion with a special certificate. This free event is open to corporate teams, but space is limited. 14th Annual Outrun Hunger 5K Broward County, Saturday, April 5th, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Miles for meals! Feeding South Florida will host its 14th Annual Outrun Hunger 5K on Saturday, April 5th. At an all-new location this year, runners, walkers, families and community leaders of all ages will come together to take steps to raise funds and awareness to end hunger in South Florida at Vista View Park in Davie.

Registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. and the Outrun Hunger 5K will start at 7:30 a.m. An award ceremony will take place after the race. Participants can join the event as an individual or a team. Feeding South Florida’s Volunteer Appreciation Week takes place from Sunday, April 20th, through Saturday, April 26th. It is a special time for Feeding South Florida to acknowledge its volunteers for all they do. Volunteers are the

heart and soul of the organization, providing continuous support for several of Feeding South Florida’s programs.

Every day, volunteers will receive a special treat of the day, such as cookies, candy or donuts, as a token of appreciation. Volunteers will receive a Hunger Hero certificate and have the opportunity to take photos with special props to highlight service on Social Media. Contributions will be recognized on the Volunteer Wall of Hunger Heroes, where the volunteers’ photos will be displayed. VIP volunteer gratis bags, including signed thank-you cards, will be distributed. Volunteers will be featured in daily spotlight posts and can enjoy word searches, crossword puzzles and other food bank-themed games. To add to the excitement, each volunteer shift earns a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift card at the end of the week, with one winner per warehouse.

About Police Athletic League of Hallandale Beach Police Athletic League (PAL) is a national organization that police departments in different cities across the country implement to foster a greater connection between Law Enforcement, cities and communities through recreational sports. Currently, PAL of Hallandale Beach hosts more than a dozen seasons between 8 sports. At any given time, at least three sports are actively playing. The teams travel throughout South Florida for games and are always accompanied by Hallandale Beach Police officers. PAL has 4 facilities where sports and activities are operated from.

O. B. Johnson Park is the home site for Youth Football and Cheerleading practices. The State-Of-The-Art gymnasium also houses our basketball and volleyball programs. Its many classrooms are home to our after-school Sports Academy. MLK Jr. Dream Center is where we

host our activities ranging from painting to reading in our library. Camps and other activities are also offered here at different times of the year. Hallandale High School is the home to our Nationally recognized Track and Field program. In addition, HBPAL plays all of its football games here.

The West Park Zetas: Oh So Sweet 16th Chapter Charter Celebration

The members of Chi Mu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated proudly invite the community to join in celebrating a significant milestone—our chapter’s charter anniversary. Celebrating Purim In Israel’s Marketplace

This Purim, Jews around the world will celebrate the holiday commemorating the salvation of the Jewish people in Ancient Persia, with extra meaning. The festival which is celebrated every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar, begins this year after nightfall on Thursday, March 13th and goes until nightfall on Friday, March 14th. It’s one of the most joyous days on the

challenges and a brighter future, as in the story of Purim, when the table was turned with miracles from the Almighty, the Jews were victorious over their enemies.

The relevance and message of the festival of Purim has never been more acute than today. That is, when faced with those who wish evil upon us, the response of the Jewish people is to strengthen our trust in G-d and turn to joy as a way of combating darkness.

Jewish calendar, celebrating the overturning of a royal decree which called for the extermination of all Jews throughout the Persian Empire in 356 B.C.E.

This year, Purim holds heightened significance as Jews are still experiencing one of the most difficult times in recent history. The enduring trauma of the Simchat Torah attacks on October 7th of last year, the war in Israel, the perilous fate of the 59 hostages still in Hamas captivity, and the distressing rise of antisemitism across the globe place a new understanding of the genocidal intent of the Purim story’s villain Haman, who sought to enact the elimination of the Jewish people. In 1971, the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, called upon people in Israel to assist the soldiers of the IDF to fulfill the observances of Purim. The Purim awareness campaign has since expanded to reach all Jews, and today impacts people at hospitals, nursing homes, children at school and of course regular folks on the streets.

The Jewish people are going through a very difficult time, but Purim reminds us that ultimately, through coming closer to G-d and our heritage, G-d will guide us through this time as he did for our ancestors, and this is why, despite all the evil, we will celebrate, as we have done countless times throughout our history.

Although the general theme of Purim is all about Joy, the four specific Mitzvahs associated with this holiday are 1) Giving gifts of money to at least two poor people. 2) Sending food gifts, made up of at least two types of foods, to at least one friend. 3) Enjoy a festive Purim meal, preferably with friends. And 4) Recounting the story of the Purim miracle, by reading the Megillah, also known as the Scroll of Esther.

When we take the focus off of ourselves, and instead see how we can help others, by giving charity and giving gifts of food. When our focus is shifted from celebrating in silence, to having a meal with others. When we remember the miracles that occurred, not just to our ancestors many years ago, but also to us, over and over again. It really forces us to bring out our inner joy, and slowly transform it into a pure joy!

Since this year the holiday falls out on Friday, it’s preferable to start the festive meal before Halachic midday, which is at 1:29 p.m. that day. This makes the crazy Friday, before-Shabbos rush, even crazier! But we’ve been through greater challenges! And we’ll surely get through this one in the most fun and exciting way!

Noted as the most joyous date on the Jewish calendar, the daylong holiday commemorates the nullification in 356 B.C.E. of a Persian decree calling for the extermination of the Jewish people throughout the Persian Empire as told in the biblical Book of Esther. Chabad’s original spin on this age-old holiday has helped bring the spirit of Purim to the area year after year.

The event is a community-wide program, and all are welcome to join, regardless of affiliation or background. After moving to Florida in 1973, he switched from construction and was one of the original five hired firefighters in the City of Miramar in 1975. During the years at Miramar, his dalmatians became mascots and served the city as well. He was Fireman Frank and enjoyed teaching fire safety in the public schools, children’s hospitals and nursing homes as part of his job. His love of the fire service is evident in his historical

Ann Storck Center Expands Its Services With Three New Programs

Ann Storck Center (ASC) – a Fort Lauderdale-based private NonProfit Organization dedicated to enriching lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities – is proud to announce it has expanded its services with three new programs: Supported Training and Employment Program (STEP), In-Home Respite and Family Strengthening. ASC accommodates 96 permanent residents and serves more than 300 clients daily through an array of critical care, learning and ability-focused programs. Throughout all its programs and services, the Center intends for individuals to discover ability and build independence so that individuals live happier, more independent, fulfilling lives.

Aligned with Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, observed annually in March, ASC continues its mission to bring people of all abilities into a supportive community where each is inspired to realize a fulfilling life of purpose, possibility and love. The month-long observance champions individuals with developmental disabilities for their achievements, advocates for their rights and promotes understanding and inclusivity within society. Developmental disabilities are defined as impairments in physical, learning, language or behavior areas, and include: Autism Spectrum Disorders; Cerebral Palsy; AttentionDeficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); learning or intellectual disabilities; hearing loss; vision impairment and other developmental delays.

ASC opened the doors to its brandnew Supported Training and Employment Program (STEP). This program is designed to give young adults with disabilities, aged 15-21, the opportunity to get a step up in their adult life. STEP offers its participants the chance to explore career paths, learn about community service, gain social and employability skills, receive individualized support, participate in non-school day activities including field trips and afterschool programs and take paid summer internships. STEP is a year-round program offered Monday through Thursday.

ASC believes families need an opportunity to take a much-needed break from caregiving with support. ASC’s new In-Home Respite program is designed to provide temporary at-home care by trained professionals who specialize in the individualized needs of each child they serve. Eligible families can receive up to 200 hours of care from ASC’s professional caregivers. Families can expect safe and nurturing care in their own home by trained professionals who cater to the individual needs of each child through specialized care and engaging activities.

ASC introduced its new Family Strengthening Program to families in the community with children born through 12 with special needs. The goal of the program is to empower parents to enhance their positive parenting abilities, discipline techniques and teaching methods. This program offers insight into coping strategies for reducing behaviors and stressors, addressing the expectations and fears associated with raising children with special needs, including in-home services, group sessions, case management and financial assistance.

key focus, and ASC provides a variety of engaging activities to support individuals in achieving their goals while exploring new interests and hobbies. The renovation project consisted of several key components designed to improve the functionality, accessibility and overall quality of the Adult Day Training Program, including facility upgrades, technology integration and program expansion. In recognition of Heart Month in February, the American Heart Association (AHA) with support from Rick Case Automotive Group gifted 250 CPR Anytime Training Kits to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Broward Health.

“Our goal is to make sure that every family can go home with one of these CPR kits so they can save their child’s life if they need to because they’ll have the equipment, tools and training right at home,” said Rita Case, President and CEO of Rick Case Automotive Group. “What inspired me are the facts that 90% of people—infants, adults, children of all ages that have a Cardiac Arrest outside the hospital die. If they’re administered CPR within the first few minutes, it doubles and triples the chance of survival. Up to 80% survive, so when you go from 90% passing away to 80% survival with a 30-minute training kit, I said, ‘I have to be involved in this.’” The self-facilitated CPR Anytime Training Kits allow for learning basic lifesaving skills in about a half hour in the comfort of one’s home. Kits were recently distributed at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to the families of hos-

pitalized children to take home with them, so they can confidently and successfully learn to administer CPR to their children, other family members, friends or strangers anywhere, anytime. “Learning CPR can be very intimidating, but there’s not one of us who doesn’t have someone in our families or in our lives that’s impacted by Heart Disease. By having a kit at home, you can practice and learn not to be intimidated,” said Caitlin Stella, CEO of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Pediatric Services. “You never know when you’re going to save somebody’s life. It could be any one of us, anytime, anywhere. I want to thank Rita for being so forward thinking and open to being able to give this gift to our community.” In support of Nation of Lifesavers, AHA’s campaign is designed to turn bystanders into lifesavers by encouraging more people to learn CPR and act in emergencies. In total, over the next three years, 750 kits, including infant, child and adult kits, will be distributed throughout Broward County hospitals and NICUs. Each year in the U.S., more than 23,000 children experience Cardiac Arrest outside

of the hospital and 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital.

Broward County’s average infant mortality rate of children under the age of one remains at five per 1,000 births and this number is higher among under-resourced populations, so it’s crucial to empower people to act quickly and effectively in critical situations. Over the years, the American Heart Association has distributed more than 2,300 CPR Anytime Kits to individuals and local organizations throughout Broward County.

Since launching the Nation of Lifesavers initiative two years ago, the American Heart Association has seen a 6% increase in bystander confidence to perform any type of CPR—from 33% to 39%. This progress is largely due to their

emphasis on Hands-Only CPR.

Dollars And Cents Of Property Taxes

As the legislative session commences, we are once again hearing calls to eliminate Property Tax in our state. While the idea of cutting taxes may seem appealing, it is essential to understand what these taxes fund. Voters need a reality check regarding the state’s financial landscape. Florida already has limited taxation, and both voters and legislators who lack experience in public office, municipal or county government must comprehend the significance of property tax.

For cities, property taxes are the primary source of revenue, funding crucial services such as Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services. On average, these services constitute 55-60% of our budget. The remaining 40% is typically allocated across various departments that provide essential services to our citizens. These day-to-day services include water supply, sanitary sewer systems, stormwater management, sanitation, street maintenance and park maintenance.

Additionally, we are responsible for providing state-mandated services, often referred to as unfunded mandates. Cities also undertake building planning and inspections, a burden that has increased with the introduction of 40-50 Year Building Safety Inspections and Milestone Inspections. Fire Code Inspections and Code Enforcement are mandated to ensure Public Safety. It is important to remember that staffing is required to deliver these services effectively. Some cities opt to contract private providers for these services. In these cases, the devil is in the details. Many contracts incur built in cost escalation clauses that taxpayers end up being stuck with. Our City uses a hybrid of services in different departments. Public Safety is our top priority. Police Services are vital to our community and we provide this directly. The in-house department gives us closer control of resources and the ability to tailor them to our community needs. Fire and Emergency Service is con-

tracted by BSO. BSO provides excellent staffing services. Our citizens still must pay to maintain all the equipment and stations. The Fire Fee helps relieve the pressure on our General Fund, which comprises the main portion of Property Tax revenues. Without the ability to have these blended financial resources we would have to increase property tax or cut service levels.

Day-to-day services including Solid Waste Removal, Water, Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater Management are funded through a combination of Revenue Funds. The combination of Fees for Service, General Funds and Grants when they are awarded helps to Fund these services.

There are many other services a City like Hallandale Beach provides. Public Right of Ways, City Roads, Park and Beach Maintenance all fall on our City’s Taxpayers. We also must fund the staffing necessary to run day-to-day operations.

As the saying goes “There is not a one size fits all” when it comes to govern-

ments. Local governments depend on Property Taxes. We as cities must balance our Budgets annually. We are subject to the most transparent and accessible government. So, when individuals or the State pushes to cut revenues, it has a serious impact on daily operations. In turn these impacts in the form of cuts will have a direct impact on the levels of services in cities and the quality of life in our communities. It’s Sea Turtle Nesting Season

Sea Turtle Nesting Season takes place every year from March 1st through October 31st. During this time, the City of Hollywood’s “Turtle Friendly Lighting Ordinance” is in effect, when the City’s Hatchlings are attracted to light. In an urban beach environment, artificial light from buildings can disorient hatchlings and attract them away from the ocean. Turtle friendly lighting can minimize disori entation and make Hollywood Beach more hospitable to these endangered species.

The Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program (BCSTCP) docu mented 3184 nests on the County’s 24mile coastline (including the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park) in 2024. Our beach is the desired nesting habitat for three species of endangered sea tur tles: leatherbacks, loggerheads, and greens. It is vital that everyone does their part to ensure future successful nesting seasons on Hollywood Beach.

Funding Arts Broward Unveils Second Edition of FAB Goes Public

Funding Arts Broward (FAB) will present the second installment of its public art initiative, FAB Goes Public with Muses Awaken by renowned local artist Miguel Gonzalez, MFA.

The light mapping installation will debut following FAB’s annual membership meeting and reception this week and will be projected onto the exterior of The Parker in Fort Lauderdale throughout April.

Muses reimagines Erato and Melpomene - the Greek muses of lyric poetry and tragedy/comedy – incidentally, the statues grace the entrance of The Parker. Through 3D animation and light mapping, the muses will be brought to life, levitating and radiating magical energy, bridging the historical with the contemporary.

According to Gonzalez, Muses will pay homage to the Parker’s rich heritage while offering a modern interpretation of its theatrical legacy. The animation will transform the façade of the Parker’s exterior Federal Highway-facing wall into a dynamic, immersive experience, elevating the muses as living embodiments of artistic inspiration.

During the special evening FAB president Mary Riedel will present highlights from the past year, including the results from FAB’s 2024 Impact in the Arts.

“Public art plays a vital role in enriching our cultural fabric, fostering engagement and driving economic growth,” said Riedel. “We are thrilled to celebrate the power of public art in Broward County and continue our mission of supporting artists by making the arts more accessible to our community. This installation is a sight to see.”

A graduate of the Parsons School of Design in New York City, Gonzalez is known for his innovative work at the intersection of new media and technology. He also teaches in the Visual Arts Department at the New World School of the Arts, mentoring the next generation of artists.

“By joining classical mythology and digital technology, Muses Awaken explores the evolving relationship between art, architecture, and urban spaces, illuminating how these elements continuously shape and redefine our connection to the buildings we inhabit,” said Gonzalez.

Muses follows FAB’s first installment, Fast Forward, by artist Rosanna Kalis. FAB Goes Public is made possible through Funding Arts Broward, in collaboration with the Broward Center for the

Performing Arts, the Broward Performing Arts Foundation, The Parker and Mad Arts. This initiative aims to expand arts appreciation, engage a broader audience and provide emerging artists with handson experience in digital artistry. The inspiration for FAB Goes Public stems from FAB’s comprehensive study, Enriching the Arts Opportunities in Broward County’s Arts Community, which identified a public art showcase as a key priority. To bring this vision to life, FAB partnered with Sofia Bastidas from Mad Arts to curate a program that empowers local artists by enhancing their digital skills, particularly in 3D projection mapping.
