Hundreds attend the Celebration of life for Mayor Dorothy ‘Dotty’ Ross On Monday, August 3 many came from near and far to celebrate the life of a very special individual, former Hallandale Beach Mayor and Commissioner Dorothy Ross. A longtime member of the Kiwanis, she was loved by many as you could tell from the many speakers on Monday. HALLANDALE BEACH New parking stations have been installed at South City Beach and in front of Joseph Scavo Park. The new stations offer the convenience of paying by credit card or by cell phone. The City offered free parking for several months at both locations. For more, see the story on Page 8A.
