Gulfstream Jockeys Visit Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital HOLLYWOOD Jockeys from Gulfstream Park brought gifts and smiles to children at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Monday morning. The visit was coordinated by Gulfstream Park and The Jockey's Guild during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Hospital, recognized as a leader in the treatment of complex and critical medical conditions, were Hall of Fame jockey Edgar Prado, Juan Leyva, Jose Valdivia Jr., Jocy Gomez, Fernando and Alexandra Jara, and Clerk of Scales Victor Sanchez. "These kids and parents...they're going through a lot," said Prado while handing out jockey silks, goggles, stuffed horses and shirts to children and parents with his fellow riders.
