Hi Coyotes!! This is Nicollette Tolentino, SWCTA's key club bulletin editor! I hope you are having a productive and fun summer! This month we have sentimental farewells from some of our seniors. We have a huge volunteering event this month, so check it out and see if you're interested. Although summer can be fun, it can be very hot especially here in Vegas, so please keep drinking water. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and see you next week coyotes!! Much love, NIcollette Tolentino

My job at the hospital is to sit at the information desk and answer visitors’ questions. When visitors come, I help them find the room numbers to their family/friends. I also direct them to where they need to go like the ER, cafeteria, gift shop etc. Yes, I do enjoy working there. I love to help others and spend my free time there. I volunteer there once a week on Saturdays. Volunteering at a hospital can be fun, and you meet new people. You can work with nurses, ER, NICU etc. It is a long process to get started with paperwork, orientation, and shots. At the end it is a fun and easy way to earn some hours!

Graduate's farewell ...
Before our seniors leave to the adult world, they have a little meaningful message about Key Club.
Alexis Pereyra
Key club makes me feel happy! I’ve gained a lot of friendships through the club, and it makes me feel great giving back to the community when doing service. Like I said before, I’ve gained a lot of friends who I’m still friends with today through the club! Also, it’s given me a few more connections and a bit more experience when talking to strangers. I learned how to be more sociable and open to stepping out of my comfort zone. I definitely learned to be happier and found my voice :)
Noah Lopez Joining Key Club was probably the greatest thing I ever did in high school. I would not be the person I am today if I did not join freshman year. Joining Key Club has definitely changed me. Before high school I was shy, quiet and viewed myself as the “outcast” type but because I joined I’m no longer that person. If there is anything I learned, it’s that no matter who you are, you are bound to make a difference. The club will give you so many opportunities to meet new people attend service.
Mary Micaella .Key club made me feel excited and capable to do anything. Knowing I had the support of my club made me feel invincible. This club has impacted me with how I present myself. I used to be much more self-conscious and not at all confident but this club completely changed all that. I learned that working together is much stronger than separately. It’s not always easy bringing people together but it pays off in the end.

Aloha Seamonkeys! I’m Megen Lopez serving as Division 28 South’s Spirit Coordinator. I am in charge of creating the cheers for Fall Rally, designing division merchandise, and much more. I hope to raise more money for ptp by selling more division merchandise, and for the seamonkeys to take the spirit stick back home! I hope for more attendance in Fall Rally, especially from my home club, Southwest CTA! Being on DLT so far is so fun, and bonding with the other members makes it better. I know that my team and I will bring the best term for our division! I ran for this position because of how spirited I am, how much I love to make others smile, and how much I love my division as a whole. I hope for you all to apply for the spirit team when applications come out, but I’ll catch you all later Seamonkeys!
