The Mill Room •Ideal space for speaking engagements, wedding receptions, business meetings and cocktails. •Accommodates up 120 people for dinner and 150 for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. •Sound system available with background music capabilities. •Full bar and catering services. •Private entrance.
The Theatre •Ideal space for lectures, training sessions and speaking engagements for large parties. •Accommodates up to 240 people in a theatre style setting. •Lighting, sound and musical systems available.

•Fees for renting space without using the catering services at Swift Creek Mill Theatre include: •$500 for Theatre or Dining Rooms without Kitchen Access •$1,500 for a Dining Room with Kitchen Access •$2,000 Theatre and Both Dining Rooms with Kitchen Access •Security $15 per hour (minimum 3 hours) Charges for (8) hours of the custodian’s services and for (5) hours of a security officer are included in the above rental fees. Any time over the (8) hours and the (5) hours are charged to the renter on a “per hour” basis. This may be due to the caterer or band not leaving in a timely manner. Currently, the charges are $100.00 per hour extra for the building being occupied and $50.00 an hour extra for the security guard. These overtime charges are subject to change. Please note the following: •All scheduling of private events is dependent upon our theatre events. •We require a non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation. •We make every effort to ensure that overlapping of theatre buffets and private functions are at a minimum. •Menus include a customary service charge or the 5%VirginiaSales Tax. •We accept cash, Major Credit Cards, and personal or business checks for payment. •Pricing does not include floral arrangements or specialty china or linen. (The special events coordinator can assist you with these other options.) •Outside catering services are not available with the exception of approved specialty providers. •We have many talented performers that can provide live music for your event. •CD background music is also an option.
