EDITOR’S NOTE Simarvelous Magazine was initially a modeling magazine characterizing Sims from The Sims 3 game. But with my love for storytelling, the project is evolving into a storied presentation and with The Sims 4 as the new platform. Going forward, each issue will feature a new main character and a short story. Ultimately, I want to maintain the imagery and photography as the focus of the magazine, therefore, writing will probably be kept to a minimal (which may change over time). I’ve made a fully complete graphic novel which was too much work and I have also started an ongoing series which is way too tedious. So I decided to try super short stories with a central stand alone theme. Hopefully this is the middle ground for me and will keep me motivated in producing fresh content. DEDICATION This story is inspired by the Monthly Theme Challenge at Simatography.webs.com. The theme is called ‘Love Dammit’ which encourages submissions involving the powerful theme of love in all it’s forms.
FELICITY I wait in anticipation.
MAX I enter the room and I see her. She is gorgeous and sexy.
FELICITY “Good evening, Mr. Marstin.”
FELICITY “My name is Felicity.”
FELICITY “Please, come in.”
FELICITY “I have your favorite wine.”
FELICITY “Happy birthday, Sir.”
MAX “Come here. Let me look at you.”
MAX I want her. All of her.
MAX “Kiss me.”
FELICITY He holds me close. I feel everything.
TWO WEEKS LATER MAX It was supposed to be one night only. But I can’t let go.
MAX I can’t stop smiling because I finally found her.
MAX I wait in anticipation.
FELICITY I don’t know why I’m here. Who wants to meet me?
MAX “Hello, Felicity.”
FELICITY He found me.
MAX She’s mine.
MAX “I miss you.”
MAX “Be with me.”
FELICITY “Yes.”
