A day of celebration in Stockport town centre

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved.

In Stockport, celebrations are from 10am to 4pm include a parade and march for serving regulars, reservists, veterans and cadets from St. Peters Square along to Market Place. There will be a static display of military and vintage vehicles, interactive activities for all the family along with live music and entertainment on the stage – something for everyone.

Please make any current or ex service personnel you know aware of the parade.
