Worried, anxious? Don’t suffer alone, Open the Door
With the cost-of-living still very high and the impact of Covid still fresh in our minds, many people are suffering, feeling anxious, worried or stressed; but there is no need for any one of us to feel alone or isolated. In Stockport we have access to people who can help us – we just need to visit Open Door on Prince’s Street.
Open Door was established as Making Space in 1982 and is proud to be an early pioneer of the quality health and social care services found in the UK today. Established in Warrington by David Lyne, a former development officer with the National Schizophrenia Fellowship, the organisation was driven by a determination to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions, and their Carers. In 1991, Making Space became Open Door.
