By Todeline Defralien
P

Josephine Connolly as Cabinet minister, saying that she also has the full support of the People’s Democratic Movement’s (PDM) National General Council (NGC). Hon. Connolly, who was sacked on Friday June 17, 2017, after serving roughly six months as Minister of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture, was replaced by Hon. Karen Malcolm on June 19th, 2017. people of the country. I am very happy that she accepted the offer when I made it and it is unfortunate that our way has parted in this way, but she continues to support the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) and we will continue to have an opportunity to work together.” Premier Robinson said that what is happening in the Turks and Caicos Islands is an unfortunate period, especially given that the eyes of the
world has been turned on them from the swearing in of the first female Premier. “From all around the world persons have been asking what is going on? And I said to persons, while it would have been a dark few weeks, it’s been very positive as well because there’s a lot of encouragement, a lot of upliftment and a lot of people who are saying let’s pass this period.
