This type of machine enables the customer to select the operation mode (manual, semiautomatic, automatic); it also features some optional elements, among which cutting station, curling unit, flour spreader, stainless steel 304 version. User fluently colour touch screen control panel of 5,7’’ size enables to select the most suitable processing system and store up to 50 recipes. On the other hand, the curling unit AVV.200 has been designed to operate with sheeters, benches and croissant processing units as to make the curling of empty croissants easier. The Ecodesign directive imposes the minimum requirements of efficiency, depending on the type of application and the power class of the units and also requires complete documentation on its performance data according to the established parameters. Only a few companies have had their units certified. Zanotti is among the very few which offer unit that operates with R407F gas, a new gas with reduced environmental impact for use in the refrigeration field. Zanotti offers a very broad range of products for applications ranging from small, medium to large capacities. For supermarkets and large logistics centers, it offers CO2 multicompressor systems in both subcritical and transcritical cycles, providing therefore a totally green product. The new generation of industrial systems with green solutions provides high performance by using screw compressors with speed control and a variable compression ratio for high efficiency.

Ever since the beginning in 1980, plenty of solutions have been produced in the field of deep-freezing, cooling, proofing and pasteurizing. Compared to tunnel ovens, the absence of forced ventilation and the favorable air volume/product balance in the cabinet allow maintaining the same cooking time with a room temperature between 10 and 15 °C lower. In special cases, according to Tecnopool’s experience, the difference can reach up to 30°C. Tecnopool spiral oven simplifies the production line and saves space and energy.

The energy saving is obtained for three reasons: • Lower working temperature, thanks to combined radiation and convection heat transfer. This characteristic, in addition to the absence of forced ventilation, improves, compared to other systems, the quality of the cooking because the system can work at a room temperature that is 10 °C lower on average. • 20/30% higher performance compared to good air heating systems thanks to the thermal fluid heating system. • Higher overall productivity, thanks to the lower dehydration of the final product. In the case of bakery products, their final weight is around 1-2% heavier than in a conventional cyclothermic oven. Independently from the above, the dimensions of the thermal power plant are still based on the maximum requirements of any cyclothermic system, in order to work with the lowest temperature of thermal fluid. This means a lower fuel consumption, a lower heating time and a longer life for the thermal fluid, beyond its theoretic expiration. As a matter of fact, in most cases the working temperature of thermal fluid is lower than 280°C. This oven is designed for both medium and large companies: for the former, it is an excellent alternative to electric rotating ovens, which normally guarantee an excellent price/productivity ratio; for the latter, it simplifies production lines, with moderate investments and lower overheads.

In the last years Sigma has been standing out also for innovation, receiving two European patents: • One concerns the pre-mixing of powders and fluids called “IDROMIX” that also won the “Innovation” award at the Europain Show in Paris. Such a device allows to get a remarkable increase of the hydration of dough and a better distribution of the ingredients; • The second concerns the spreading and shaping of the pizza ball, particularly in the lines of the industrial productions. This patent has been given in concession also to some important European manufacturers. Three generations of the Riccardi family have been in the sector of design and production of plants and machines for the food industry, especially for feedstuff, milling and pasta industries as well as for harbour facilities. By tradition, Riccardi Engineering is equipped with machines at the cutting edge of technology and its follows a CAD-CAM process. Beginning from the basic concept that there is no standard chocolate-moulding line, the company is now capable of developing “custom” machines based on customer specifications by designing and building parametric units that can be adapted to production requirements by making simple modifications. All of the mould conveyor frames, as well as the base structure of the entire line, are made of stainless steel. Energy saving: Consumption of all the machines has been optimized, resulting in 30% less energy consumption compared to the old-generation technologies. Following the growing demand for industrial plants, La Parmigiana is also able to design and supply continuous drying lines for short pasta (from 500 to 1500 kg/h) and for long pasta (up to 600 kg/h). Processes of dough mixing, hydration and extrusion are in total vacuum and each production phase is followed by appropriate technological process in order to obtain the highest product quality. Futura Robotica, based in Alseno (province of Piacenza, Italy), has developed an innovative robotic system for the first Italian company in the meat sector, that consists in the automatic introduction of bags of frozen minced meat in carton cases. The bags arrive from two different packers of the customer and are transferred to the case packing module, passing through a vision system that determines the position of each bags. The high speed Delta robot then picks up one single bag a time and place it into the carton according to the required format. The bags of meat, weighting 1 Kg , are treated at 60 cycles/minute. The full cases, after being closed, are palletized by a robot paletizer supplied by Futura Robotica which positions on pallet both the cases coming from the mentioned above line and those coming from a second production line. Since 1970, the company CO.ME.T. in Alba has been producing machines and installations for food industry. Special attention has been dedicated to design and construction of complete lines for ball refining. The ball refining lines are a simple, economic and versatile system for the production of spreadable creams, filling and coating creams, dried fruit pastes, ice-cream, chocolate and compounds, as well as in addition to commercial creams to customize the product. Starting with recipes with fat content at least of 30%, it is possible to produce creams with micrometer fineness around 20 microns. The production lines CO.ME.T. are made entirely in stainless steel with high resistance to wear and tear and with production size for a working capacity of 25 – 100 – 250 – 500 kg. The systems may have a manual or automated process managing (with the exception of the machine 25 kg which exists only in the version with loading directly

The software system is able to run multiple recipes, managing the parameters of time and temperature of refining. CO.ME.T. is able to produce complete lines at the service of the refining plant: storage of raw materials, their transport and dosage, as well as transport and managing of refined product. The production activity started some years ago in Bizerte (Tunisia) through a new facility for the manufacturing of machinery and complete systems for cereals receiving & storage and feed mill plants, has by now reached its seventh year of workability. Compared to the initial forecasts the results till now obtained, both on a product quality point of view and production efficiency, surpassed the expectations. On the 24th of April 2014, CIMAS obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification thanks to manufacturing processes and overall company structure’s levelling to the European standards. In the Bizerte’s factory the company nowadays manufactures roughly 80% of all the system’s equipment, the production is not only exported in the Maghreb area (Algeria, Morocco, etc..) but even in Europe and in particular in Italy and Romania. The winning point that enabled it to reach good results

on all points of view has been its capacity to train and manage the Tunisian staff; thanks to the know-how of the all Italian technical staff, high-grade roles within the company have raised in all the departments. Today, CIMAS can go on record as saying that the choice of outsourcing in Tunisia has been – without any doubt – positive, even in consideration of the development that the African market will have in the next years. In Italy, in the production facility in Perugia, the prevalent word carried out is engineering, research & development of new technologies and manufacturing of high-efficiency machinery (pellet mills, hammer mills, electric & electronic devices for system’s control and management, etc.). Robovision systems are modular cells equipped with high-speed robots driven by artificial vision, designed for situations in which the randomly incoming product should be placed in order inside packages. The robotic cells for boxing flat-bottomed bags are capable of receiving two flows simultaneously from two bagging machines and they perform all the necessary tasks: forming the box, filling it, compensation of the disparity between the two lines, and control of completeness and sealing of the boxes themselves. Furthermore, Abrigo, in partnership with leader companies in their own branch, developed integrated systems for bakery products like cupcakes and muffins. A unique solution which starts with paper-cup depositing in baking pans, includes depanning and decoration, and ends with packaging and final packing.

industries and, more specifically, the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. They are mainly divided in T-shaped and L-shaped, 2 and 3 way ball valves, with multiple connection options: ISO 228, ISO 7, NPT, SMS, DIN 11851, Clamp DIN 32676, KF, Garolla, Macon, Victaulic, welding neck and socket weld, flanged EN 1092-1, flanged ANSI 150RF. The control can be selected between a lever or a ISO 5211-DIN 3337 compliant control, set up to be automated with pneumatic or electrical controls. The raw materials the company uses are sourced from certified European suppliers and machined only after strict tests are carried out; 3.1 material certificates are therefore assured. 4G GHIDINI® has been awarded certification to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standard. Its ball valves are compliant with directive 97/23/EC “PED”, introduced to standardise the legislation enforced in the Members States on pressure equipment, and can be supplied on request in compliance with directive 94/9/EC

“ATEX” for approximation of the legislation enforced in the Member States covering safety systems and equipment to be used in potentially explosive environments (II 2 G-D). All its products are designed, manufactured and, before being sold, fully tested by following the correct testing practice with cutting edge equipment, in order to ensure total quality and safety to all final users.
