Produced by Hip Hop producer Ducada, the track delivers an "edgy and fierce twist on Hip Hop" explains Terri. The Greatest Miracle of All… Forgiveness.
Psalm 32:1-7: 1 Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 2 Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. 3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Selah 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD"-and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah 6 Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him. 7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. The Bible tells us of many miracles: the blind receiving their sight, the lame walking, and even the dead rising again to life. But the greatest of all miracles is forgiveness, the free and complete pardon of an undeserving sinner by a righteous and holy God. As Psalm 32 says, “Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.” Why is forgiveness such a marvelous gift? Consider for a moment that guilt is the most common symptom psychologists deal with in their patients today. Guilt is the inescapable weight that oppresses our consciences when we do something wrong. We try to deny what we have done, or attempt to deceive ourselves and others with excuses. Nevertheless, whether we regret our actions or not, we are powerless to take back what we have done. In physics, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In life every deed, whether good or evil, has consequences, though in varying measures depending on the magnitude of our actions. Guilt is the inescapable reaction of the human soul when we do something wrong, even when we refuse to admit that we are wrong. How many people today spend
years living under a cloud of guilt! The alcoholic or drug addict regrets becoming the prisoner of a habit, but sees no way out. He or she lives with a deep sense of failure and powerlessness. A father who failed to be there when his children were young finds that they have no interest in him when they are older. He never really knew his own children, and they in turn never got to know him. For another, a fling with marital unfaithfulness, which seemed so exciting for a short while, has now turned into life-long heartache and regret! Even worse, there are people who have to live with one of the most terrible burdens any soul can bear, the guilt of having taken someone’s life. During an evangelistic outreach we held a few years ago in Yonkers, New York, a man who had been a street person and an alcoholic for some thirty years came forward for prayer. He had never been able to cope with the guilt he felt over taking the lives of young and old while fighting in special operations behind the lines in the Vietnam War. Among other things, he had to shoot an elderly grandmother when she pulled the pin out of a grenade just after he said hello to her and was passing on by. To escape the pangs of remorse, he gave himself up to the miserable consolation alcohol offers. His body survived the war, but his mental and emotional life were devastated by the horrors he had experienced. He prayed that day for Christ’s forgiveness for acts for which he had never been able to forgive himself. Psychologists cannot free people from the power of guilt. They may try to help patients cope with their feelings, or at least to understand them better. But no human being can wave a magic wand for another that can free him or her from the weight of guilt. Only God can do that, and only at great cost! You see, even God cannot and will not undo our past. The One who made us and gave us life also gave us free will to choose what we will, or will not, do. He for one will not pretend that we are anything other than exactly what we are, unrighteous sinners who prove just how bad we are every day. One passage in Job chapter 34 states of the Lord: “His eyes are on the ways of men; he sees their every step. There is no dark place, no deep shadow, where evildoers can hide. God has no need to examine men further, that they should come before him for judgment.” (Job 34:21-23)
By contrast, how many graveside eulogies call a dead thief a “generous member of society,” or an abuser “a loving family man,” or even a murderer “a person who gave so much to us all!” I once listened to the eulogy of a dead Mafioso on the news in New York City—and was astounded at what a wonderful person he had been! God is not like that. It is contrary to His nature to call evil good, or good evil. As Isaiah chapter 45 states, “For this is what the Lord says— he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it… he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited-I am the Lord, and there is no other…I, the Lord speak the truth; I declare what is right…Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth.” How can a just and holy God forgive the unforgivable things men do every day? If you and I are bothered when terrible events occur, how do you think the Lord feels? We see only an infinitesimal part of what goes on, but He sees every action and knows the thoughts of every person on earth. As a father of four precious boys, I could not handle knowing about even a fraction of the child abuse that goes on in this world. How does God handle evil? If you think He is some kind of clockmaker who wound up the universe and then walked away, you are tragically mistaken. Jesus said of our Heavenly Father, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.” If the Lord cares this much about the birds, how much more do you think He cares about us? Jesus said of us, “Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:29-31) Very few of us would even be willing to sit still long enough to count the hairs on our heads, but God knows their number! What then has the One who created us done to help us overcome the challenges of temptation and evil? The apostle John wrote, “The Word became flesh and lived for a while among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” The eternal Son of God, the co-creator of this universe, became a Son of Man, subject to every temptation that you and I face—but never giving in to any
of them! Jesus came as a teacher, but teaching alone could not save us. He was also a prophet, but prophecy alone could not save us either. He is our great Example, but how often we fail to live up to examples! As Jesus told His disciples repeatedly, He came to this earth chiefly to die: the Good for the bad, the Righteous One for the unrighteous. He came from heaven to earth to bear the consequences in His own body of all the awful things that people like you and me have done from the beginning of creation until now. The Maker of the universe took on human form and humbled himself to die an awful death on a Roman cross, all because of our rebellion and disobedience towards God. He died so that we would not have to die. As Jesus' disciple Peter wrote, “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” (1 Peter 2:24-25) Because He took our punishment on Himself, He has the right to do for us what no one else can. He can forgive us for all we have ever done, and give us an entirely new life. Jesus alone can free us from the power of guilt and sin. The prophet Micah wrote, “Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7:18-19) Are you willing to confess your sins today and have God cast them into the sea of His forgetfulness? Are you willing to receive the great and costly

God Will Help You
I will lift up mine eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Psalms 121. v 1-2. I will lift up mine eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Psalms 121. v 1-2. The word help is a very outstanding word in the above paragraph. Often times people speak about obtaining or not able to obtain help. Many people look to their family, friends, associations, centers, and community programmes for help, and are some time disappointed. Some will even say bad luck is the cause of not receiving help, but the fact is that help in its literal form will always make some happy and some sad, depending on where your help is coming from. In the months and years to come we all are going to need help. The good news is that God will never disappoint us if we turn to him for help. If you look at your life for just a few minutes, you will see that God is already helping you. Our limbs to work, our breath to ask and the ability in the person to give us help is from God, so he is always looking forward to helping. He promised to help. Look at this scripture: John ch. 15.v 7. If he abides in me and my word abide in you, ye shall ask what he will, and it shall be done unto you. God is no respecter of person, that is why he creates man "everyone" in is image and form us all in his likeness. This is why God fed the multitude in respective of whom they were. This is why God will help you in respective of who you are. When your father and your mother forsake you, then the Lord will take you up .Psalms 27 v 10. This year will be another challenging one my friends, but we will have to persue with faith and belief in the words of God. In Isiah 45 v 2. He stated, I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight, I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron. The challenges are there but so is the promises of God. Do not spent your time being frustrated if some-
one did not help you . You can make it with the help of God. My challenge to all of us is that we carefully read and carry out Deuteronomy chap 28 v 1-14. Finally; I pray that you will pray this prayer. .Dear God, help me to believe you the way I should. Help me to understand how to seek and receive help from you. Lord I promise that when I receive this help I will glorify you with it. In Jesus name - Amen. Keep persuing with the help of God. Until next time.

Vitamin D Deficiency Epidemic Among Blacks Says New Book
V
itamin D deficiency is a silent epidemic that is taking the lives of countless blacks worldwide. Many Americans are seriously deficient in vitamin D, a critical nutrient which aids in the prevention of numerous diseases including cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure to name a few. However, vitamin D deficiency is far worse among dark-skinned people because high concentrations of melanin in dark skin block the production of vitamin D from the sun, the most natural and abundant source of vitamin D. More than 90 percent of Blacks have critically low vitamin D levels and Blacks also suffer disproportionate illness and mortality rates from major chronic diseases. ARE Mormons CHRISTIANS? Many People Are Asking This Question This is a political year. Often Christians need to be taught more about presidential candidates. What they say if often not as important as what type of spirit controls them. Is the holy spirit of God leading them or is it a strange different spirit! I am changing for this month my message of revival to teaching on wrong beliefs. Men with a nice smile and fancy words may really be a Mormon or Muslim. Do you know the difference? America is the greatest Christians nation in the world. Whom do you want to lead America? This next election is the most important election in America history. The future will change the world! A Christian is one who has received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and follows His teachings found in the Bible. In contrast, a Mormon follows the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints found in their own “sacred” writings such as the “The Book of Mormon”, the “the “Pearl of Great Price”, “Doctrine and Covenants”, and
many others. The “Latter Day Saints” (LDS) began in 1830 when Joseph Smith claimed to have discovered golden plates which became the Book of Mormon after the angel Moroni appeared to him, revealing their location. Some of their false teachings are that Jesus and Lucifer (Satan) were brothers, that God the Father is Adam, and that men can become gods and populate planet whit their children forever. Their beliefs are so
to believe reveals their teachings to be lies. We will examine 4 of their beliefs, which identify them as a cult and an antichrist. Mormons believe Adam became God the Father. Brigham Young taught that Adam was promoted to be the god of this world: “He (Adam) is our Father and our God, and the only God with whom we have to do.” (Journal of Discourses-vol. Of Mormon Sermons, Vol. 1, pg. 50) The Bible states that God the Fa-

(The Seer, 1,37). The Bible states there is only one God! “I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me…” Isaiah 45:5 Jesus said there would be no marriage in Heaven. “For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heavContinues on Page 37

Love is still the best answer to the great challenges and opportunities before us. If we can open our hearts, again, like way back when we can make a fresh start. If we can forgive our past transgressions we can begin to move forward and upward in a more positive atmosphere. It is essential that we develop more rapport in our overall human interactions so that we can dispel the friction and disharmony that is widespread, now. The economy has caused much anxiety for most people. The more fortunate and well to do, need to lend a generous hand to the less fortunate. It is the divine thing to do. A true statement indeed is, “To whom much is given, much is required.” In addition,” What goes around comes around.” It is important to circulate our good with love. Prosperity comes through generosity. I pray America is listening. We have been blessed with great success in our country. If we do not begin to take the high road in our actions and deeds, we will continue to lose ground. We can all play our role with the Lord’s guidance in restoring and transforming our nation to it’s greatness. If we can shift from a consciousness of too much greed to attend to satisfying peoples greatest needs, we will be
on track to our magnificence because of our beneficence. If we can begin to shepherd our great mother earth with love and care, she will blossom and share her unlimited fruit and bounty that we need to survive and thrive. Let us remember to humbly pray every day for the direction, protection and divine connection we need to succeed and stay blessed. What Lies Have You Believed? O
ur belief system is the basis for making decisions for our lives, so what we believe is critical because our actions are the result of our belief system. In order to change our behavior, we must first take a look at our beliefs and be willing to address them and, if necessary, change them. There are several erroneous beliefs that I keep running into that I see many people being affected by. The first lie that I often see at work is the belief that “other people are responsible for my happiness.” Others are supposed to be aware of my feelings and needs. I often find that women especially think that their husbands are responsible for making them happy. They also expect husbands to read their minds. They think that they shouldn’t have to tell their husbands what they want --he should just know. This belief that others are responsible for my happiness leads to much unhappiness and just is not true. We each are responsible for our own happiness and create it by the choices we make. Yes, it is helpful when other people do consider our feelings and needs, but it is an unrealistic expectation to think that most people will. A second lie similar to the first is that “if circumstances were different, then I would be different.” Tied to this belief are many “if only” statements. “If only I had money,” “if only I had married someone else,” “if only” _____; you can fill in the blank. Circumstances do not make us who we are, but they do help to reveal who we are. Different circumstances do not guarantee that we will be happier. A third lie tied to the other two is that “I should not go through difficulties or suffer in any way.” When trouble comes, our reaction is too often to whine and complain and then go running to God to “fix it” as we
are yelling, “why is this happening to me?” God never promised us that we would not suffer but rather that He would be with us through the suffering and that He would use it for our good. God is more interested in our character development than our temporal happiness. The Word says in Romans 5:3-4,“But we glory in tribulation knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” We have many people today who believe the lie that they are victims and, therefore, not responsible for their lives. This is a safe position to take as no one can expect very much from them, and they don’t need to grow or achieve anything even if they never achieve happiness. The last two lies that I want to address that are connected are the lie that “my parents were not good parents; therefore, I do not owe them anything.” When they get older, I don’t need to care for them or help them. I find this belief more prevalent in the forty-five year old and below group. This group also reflects much more of the “it’s all about me attitude” and “you owe me and I am entitled to be taken care of and given to.” The other lie connected to this lie is that if I really love my children, I shouldn’t let them struggle in anyway. I should always step in and help them. This is the process professionals would call “enabling.” Yes, the Word does call us to love and care for the household of faith and especially our families. The difficulty becomes in distinguishing between help that still allows for struggle and growth and help that ends up hindering growth. I can reminder one day when I was praying for my son and asking God to protect him and keep him from any trouble or hardship. God was quick to bring to my mind the fact that it was in such times that I had learned many lessons, de-

I walked around the still bleak backyard recently and saw, amazingly, with no help at all from me, God’s wonderous gift of life – the first little spring bulbs pushing their way up through the dirt. Have you ever examined a seemingly dead, shriveled up, gray-looking bulb and wondered how it could ever possibly be transformed, at just the right time, into a dazzlingly beautiful flower….that dried up piece of vegetation that spent the frozen winter buried in the dark, cold earth? How could life spring from such a place…and not just life, but breathtakingly beautiful life, dressed in petals of yellow, pink and lavender? And does this not remind you – us – of our own withered, dead selves before we met and received Christ Jesus, God’s Son? The Easter message is simple and yet profound…a loving, compassionate, powerful God, Creator of all things, loved His sick, dead, sin-filled people so much that “…He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have
"Where You There. . .?" everlasting life…” (John 3:16). Allelujah, Praise God! We were bought and paid for; nothing we could ever do, or fix, or give up could earn our place in Heaven. It was done on Calvary over twothousand years ago. Jesus’ sacrifice bought each and every one of us with His suffering and death on the Cross; and through that gift, and His resurrection on Easter Sunday, we were freely given the wonderous gift of Salvation. How incredible!

So right off the bat let us get this straight; Diabetes is no longer just about blood sugar (glucose) control. The management of diabetes has three components: managing high blood pressure, high (bad) fats and high blood sugar. In a nutshell review, diabetes if not treated may cause many complications, to include vision, nerve and kidney problems. Most of us are concerned only with these. But the fact is that people with diabetes suffer and die much more from heart disease. Diabetes is managed conventionally (standard Western medicine) and or, with complementary or alternative treatment. It used to be that the first line of treatment was diet and exercise. However diet is now seen as complementary, as suggested by WebMD in an article
entitled “Alternative Treatment for Diabetes”. Whether or not it is the MD’s reluctance to recommend the patient (to a dietitian) for medical nutrition therapy, or the patient’s unwillingness to follow the recommended therapy, thus resulting in unstable blood sugar - the recommendation from the medical community is to give insulin as the first line of treatment. But one thing we have observed is that patients do not want to go straight to insulin therapy. The greatest concern with this therapy is low blood sugar, which may lead to brain damage. It is my opinion that diet and exercise must work hand in hand with conventional medicine, if needed, to achieve good management of diabetes. In fact many studies have found this to be so.
als and other substances that contain potent antioxidant properties, vegetables also have fiber, a calorie-free, indigestible portion of the vegetable that provides bulk. Now go back to the first paragraph of this sharing. How does eating vegetables help in managing high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar and high (bad) fats? A study by the National Institute of Health suggests that a fiber increase of approximately 17 g/day will decrease blood pressure; the fiber in the vegetables slows digestion and helps to prevent a rapid rise in blood sugar. The results of a study by the same institution [above] suggest that high fat induced by a high carbohydrate diet (starch and sugar) does not occur if the diet is rich in dietary fiber. n today's world of economic collapse and struggle, it is harder than ever to get ahead financially. It is so important to understand how money works and can empower us in applying principles that improve our lives for generations. Much of our financial success or failure comes from our financial literacy or lack there of. Many of us have learned misleading money principles from our parents, family, friends, and associate. Unfortunately bringing us to measuring the barometer of our money on outdated approaches or actions that don't add up to what we need to get by or much less to prosper. The purpose of this money series is to get you and your family on the right road with your finances and understand what you can do now to advance within the complex world of economics that effects us all. Today we will start with the issue that has caused the greatest damage and impact to people in which a simple mistake can follow you for the rest of your life, Credit. What makes up your FICO Score: • 35%: Payment history—Late payments on bills, mortgage, credit card or
loan, can cause a FICO score to drop. Bills paid on time will improve a FICO score. • 30%: Credit utilization—The ratio of current revolving debt (credit card balances) to the total available revolving credit or credit limit. FICO scores can be improved by paying off debt and lowering the credit utilization ratio. • 15%: Length of credit history— As a credit history ages it can have a positive or negative impact on its FICO

How To Improve Your Credit Score: 1) Go your credit report - Understand what your unique challenges are by finding out what is on your report. 2) Start with a manageable budget strategy - It is important to have a workable plan to stick by and revise if need be. 3) Pay your bills on time - Start to review your finances and sacrifice to pay more than the minimum payment. 4) Get credit counseling - A credit and debt counselor can help you build a success blueprint than can make a long-term difference Howard Spence is a credit restoration, debt management counselor and financial planner with 20 years experience in financial management and analyst. Q A
Rev. Dr. Clawson, Brooklyn, asked What are some marketing ideas for nonprofits during Spring 2012? Response by Valerie Samuel
The spring is a great time to start a new marketing campaign! With Easter and Mother’s day around the corner -now is the time to plan how to thank your supporters, highlight your recent accomplishments, suggest other ways they can support your organization and tap into their spirit of giving. Here are eight ways to use marketing to stay connected with your supporters: 1. Say Thank You. Send a personal note and list a few accomplishments that their support has made possible over the recent quarter and request a donation. Be sure to include a self addressed stamped envelope. 2. Share Your Accomplishments in
your recent newsletter. This is a nice complement to the thank you note and helps to showcase your organization's good work throughout the quarter. Include a "make-a-donation" link at the end. 3. Invite Members to Upcoming Events. Host regular open houses and member appreciation events to showcase how donations are being invested. Don't forget to follow-up with an invite and a reminder closer to your event. 4. Call for Volunteers and Other Types of Donations. Tell people who have donated goods (clothing, books, food, etc.) how they can make a cash donation or give the gift of their time and energy by volunteering. 5. Ask for Donations to Support Your Cause. Give as much detail as you can about your program in need of funds and explain how the member's donation will help make the program possible.
Timing Tip: Ask Early, Remind Often If you're promoting your merchandise such as Smart Products for Schools, Organizations, and Moms, available via info@momsforprofit.org then time your emails to catch members at different points in the buying cycle (suggest "gifts for that hard-to-buy-for person" or "gifts for a cause." For more information, visit www.valeriesamuelsnonprofitcenter.com. 6. Leverage Your Partnerships to Reach More Like-Minded People. Ask board members, supporters and volunteers if their businesses and organizations would be willing to include a note about your charity in their marketing campaigns. 7. Offer Gift Ideas. If your organization wants to merchandise fundraising products available via info@momsforprofit.org, now is the time to remind
supporters about the products and take their orders! 8. Ring in the New Quarter with a "What's Coming Up" Email: This is similar to the end-of-year-accomplishments newsletter, only now you're showcasing the projects and initiatives for the second quarter 2012. ather, too often I allow urgency to dictate my schedule, and I am asking you to help me establish priorities in my work. I confess my weakness of procrastination and lack of organization. My desire is to live purposefully and worthily and accurately as a wise, sensible, intelligent person.
You have given me a sevenday week six days to work and the seventh day to rest. I desire to make the most of time (buying up each opportunity). Help me plan my day, and stay focused on my assignments. In the name of Jesus, I demolish and smash warped philosophies concerning time management, tear down barriers erected against the truth of God, and fit every loose thought, emotions and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. I clear my mind of every obstruction and build a life of work and my plans. I plan the way I want to live, but alone make me. Able to live it. Help me organize my efforts, schedule my activities
and budget my time Jesus, you want me to relax. It please you when I am not preoccupied with getting, so I can respond to God’s giving. I know you, Father God, and how you work. I steep my life in God reality, God-initiative, and God Provisions. By the grace give me, I will not worry about missing out, and my everyday human concerns will be met. I purpose in my heart to seek (aim at and strive after). First of all your kingdom, Lord, and your righteousness (Your way doing and being right) and then all these things taken together will be given me besides. Father, your word is my compass, and it help me see
my life as complete in Christ. I cast all my cares, worries, and concerns over on you, that I might be well-balanced (Temperate, sober of mind), vigilant and cautious at all times I have my ears to the word of wisdom and set my heart on a life of understanding,. I make insight my priority. Father, you sent Jesus that I might have life and have it more abundantly. Help me remember that my relationship with you and with others are more important than anything else in Jesus name. Amen.

The Feminization of Resilience in Misfortune Circumstances W

omen are often related to by their makeup of uniqueness, weakness, and strength. Historically speaking, women have faced many challenges and have suffered losses economically. Women are considered to be the “weaker vessel.” Yet, when we were created, “it was good.” The roles that women play are tremendous, and sometimes tend to be stressful. The lives of women consist of many diverse, explicit, drastic, domestic affairs, and spontaneous changes. Since the 1970’s, and in the prior years, women were robbed of their true worth, and were deprived of their rights. Women have faced many devastated, tragic displeasures in society, such as, sexism (institutional, personal, overt and covert), racism (deliberate, intentional, passive, and active), discrimination, domestic abuse, inequality, not to mention, misogynist (hatred of women), and gynophobia (fear of women). The feminization of poverty posits that women are poor because of the effect of their traditional gender roles on their ability to accumulate economic resources. Women earn less than men for the same work, their
share of national income is less, and income is stratified by both ethnicity and gender with African American and Hispanic/Latina women at the bottom-women job status is lower than men (McBride Stetson, 2009). Perhaps, these experiences have made some women bitter, but better, and stronger. Other women with disadvantages of poverty and oppression, deal daily with the misfortune of a lack of opportunity, a chance for good employment, a right to walk in freedom, and an equal will. Some women have suppressed their dilemmas with the pretense that “all is well,” when it is not, or “I have accepted mediocrity, since I am denied opportunity.” Though women go through life appearing as though everything is alright, within the depths of themselves they strive, and struggle with insecurities, emotional turmoil, self-hatred, rejections, loneliness, low self-esteem, depression, which brought them trauma (feminization of poverty). The aftermath of injustice in society, incidence and occurrence left many women with self-doubt, mistrust, anger towards themselves and
others. Women in poverty face unfortunate circumstances. Their horrific stories, issues, situations, and their trials sometimes lead them to seek out help. They soon learn to cope by uniting, building on their spirituality (developing faith in God), create solutions, and resolutions to improve the way in which women are treated and how they excel to a better life style. Others have been empowered to move towards justice and freedom. And with motivation are now assisting, leading, directing, and servicing other women to live a life of victory. Some have embraced healing and restoration, developed good self-esteem, accomplished self and financial independence. Presently, many women thrive, persevere, have gain the resilience, and have broken down barriers, and boundaries they were once forbidden to cross. There are no limits and walls that can permanently hinder women with the determination and persistence to assimilate to wealth. Poverty cannot hold us captive. Breakings the Bands of BALAAMS and FALSE PROPHETS By Pastor Emmanuel Olayiwola
I want you to quickly pray the following prayers fervently before you continue to read this article: 1. I walk out of the prisons of false prophets and their prophecies in the mighty name of Jesus 2. Every satanic grip of false prophets over my life I cut you off in the name of Jesus 3. Satanic prophecy tying down my destiny, break and release me in Jesus name 4. Any curse issued against me by any satanic priest, I pick you up and send you back to sender in the name of Jesus. God will bless you mightily if you have prayed those prayers About the 2nd week in the month of Jan the Lord told me in the middle of the night during our 24 hour with God program that HE has some of HIS sheep who have been held captives not by Satan but by some Balaams and false prophets and HE is equipping churches and Ministers without preference to denominations, gender or age, who are ready to go into the enemies camps within the body of Christ and break the bands of these end time Balaams and false prophets because the time is at hand. HE made understand also that some of these people( HIS Children) had entered into their bondage honestly, innocently and sincerely because of their ignorance and their desperation, they were deceived, some of them according to HIM are even Ministers who have answered their divine calls under these false prophets in the enemies camp, HE wants to set them free The bible says “And no wonders for Satan himself has transformed himself into angel of light therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works”. Cissy Houston
A
soul singer who is known primarily as Whitney Houston's mother rather than for her own considerable talents, Cissy Houston was born Emily Drinkard and began her career as a member of her family's gospel group, the Drinkards. In the early '60s, she joined forces with a floating group of singers known simply as the Group (including at

various points Doris Troy and Dee Dee Warwick) to provide backup vocals on numerous soul, pop, and rock sessions. They contributed to many Atlantic sessions in particular, and Atlantic executive Jerry Wexler signed the act to the label in 1967. Named the Sweet Inspirations, they recorded some excellent gospel-flavored soul in the late '60s, managing a few hits (as well as continuing to back up other artists, most notably Aretha Franklin) before Houston left to go solo at the end of 1969. She recorded an impressive album for Commonwealth United in 1970, Presenting Cissy Houston, which yielded a couple of small R&B/ pop hits: "I'll Be There" and "Be My Baby." Much in the manner of the Sweet Inspirations, although the material consisted of fairly wellworn soul, rock, and pop tunes, the state-of-the-art arrangements and gospel-ish vocals made them sound fresh. Her contract was sold
to Janus Records later in the year, and while she issued a few singles there until the middle of the '70s, she never received the support and promotion she deserved. A case in point was her little-known original version of "Midnight Train to Georgia," taken to the top of the charts about a year later by Gladys Knight & the Pips. Houston recorded several albums for Private Stock beginning in the late '70s, as well as continuing her regular work on sessions and commercial jingles. She recorded a duet with daughter Whitney ("I Know Him So Well") in 1987, and cut a

duet album with veteran soul singer Chuck Jackson in 1992.

Greatest Gift is Forgiveness but gives the afflicted their rights. He does not take his eyes off the righteous; he enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever. But if men are bound in chains, held fast by cords of affliction, he tells them what they have donethat they have sinned arrogantly. He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil. If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge. Jesus does not despise you or me, but loved us enough to lay down His
life for our sakes. Let today be the day you admit to the Lord what He already knows, that you are a sinner, that you are not the person you ought to be. You are in fact a person who needs the power of Almighty God to make you all that you should be, and all that He hopes for you to be. John the apostle wrote, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:8-10) Will you receive today the greatest miracle of all, the miracle of forgiveness? All whom Christ forgives, He then gives an entirely new start in life because, in His own words, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) Pray with me these words,
“Father, I come to You the only way I can, as a sinner who is unworthy of Your love. Yet You loved me enough to send Your beloved Son to die for me on the cross, even when I was still Your enemy. Lord Jesus, I receive you today as my Savior. I confess all my sins, and ask you to forgive me. Please wash away the stain and power of sin in my life with the precious blood you poured out on the cross. I also give you my life, even as you gave me yours, and receive you as the Lord of my life. Teach me your ways, and grant me to do Your will. Give me that abundant life you bought for me on the cross of Calvary. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.” Christopher N. White ©2001 (All quotations are from the New International Version)
Rev. D. DAVIS prayers and other needed assistance are given to various persons; Prison Ministry – Services are held in the Correctional Institutions twice monthly. There are also organized Competitions in Cricket, Football, Volley Ball and Track and Field in which other Churches/ Denominations participate. Marriage and Singles’ Ministry. Several national initiatives have been spearheaded by Bishop Davis and the Power of Faith Ministries. One such famous is the “Heal the Family Heal the Nation” series which commenced in January 2006 at the National Arena and continues to be held as an annual institutionalized event; it brings together Leaders of States, Leaders of all religious Denominations, persons from across Jamaica and also from overseas for a time of Spiritual Renewal and Empowerment for the Challenges of the New Year. Others includes “Emancipate Jamaica 2008” and “Save the Children Rally”: with the involvement of Civil Society, the Schools,
the Police, the Portmore Chamber of Commerce, and others, thousands of school Children, their Parents and Teachers gathered for several hours. In that Rally many clear, decisive and deliberate messages were sent to all persons in the Society who afflict, abuse and impair our children in any way. From this initiative a Scholarship Fund will be launched to assist needy students. There are many other Ministries and Services which are the brain child of this Visionary Leader during his many years as leader of the Power of Faith Ministries. He is motivated by a burning desire and a passion to help people, to see them saved and delivered and come into the knowledge of and a relationship with Jesus Christ. With that motivation he continues to serve selflessly, the cause of Christ and the needs of others. ACADEMICS “The Delford D.
