Dans son célèbre roman d’aventures, Alexandre Dumas mêle des faits historiques avérés et toutes sortes d’histoires fictives, un subtil mélange qui représente tout le XVIIe siècle français.
Le jeune provincial un peu rustre d’Artagnan rêve de faire fortune à Paris et d’entrer dans la fameuse garde des mousquetaires. Avec Athos, Porthos et Aramis, il se bat contre le cardinal Richelieu et tombe amoureux de la raffinée et intrigante Lady de Winter. Il se retrouve ainsi au cœur d’une affaire d’État qui vise la chute de la reine de France. Mais sa folle insouciance lui permet de surmonter tous les dangers et il devient le mousquetaire le plus célèbre de l’histoire de France.

Der junge, etwas ungehobelte Provinzedelmann d’Artagnan will in Paris das grosse Glück machen und vor allem eins: er will in die berühmt-berüchtigte Garde der Musketiere eintreten. Zusammen mit Athos, Porthos und Aramis kämpft er gegen den Kardinal Richelieu und verliebt sich dabei ausgerechnet in die raffinierte und intrigante Lady de Winter. Damit gerät er in eine Staatsaffäre, die den Untergang der Königin von Frankreich zum Ziel hat. Tollkühne Unbekümmertheit lässt ihn aber alle Gefahren bestehen und er wird zum berühmtesten Musketier der französischen Geschichte.

Mathieu, jeune garçon de onze ans part à la recherche d’un trésor dans le but de pouvoir payer la maison de retraite de sa grand-mère. Ce trésor se trouve, il en est sûr, au pied d’un arc-enciel. Sur scène, il y a une course-poursuite, un drôle de tribunal, le fameux arc-en-ciel, des chants, et huit comédiennes et comédiens aux prises avec une histoire rocambolesque. Le concept est étonnant pour une pièce: parler du biais cognitif et de ses répercussions sur nos représentations du monde de manière à l’expliquer à des enfants. La pièce de la compagnie genevoise est un conte poétique pour enfants et adultes d’un très haut niveau technique et philosophique. C’est tout à fait à juste titre que la production a été invitée aux Rencontres théâtrales suisses 2023.
Was tun, wenn die Eltern in der Küche flüstern und verstummen, wenn der Sohn in die Nähe kommt? Lauschen natürlich! Spätestens wenn man aufschnappt, dass es um das «Problem Oma» geht, für die man sich das notwendige Pflegeheim nicht leisten kann, ist der Moment zum Handeln gekommen. Grossmutter ist zwar zunehmend verwirrt, aber sie erzählt wunderbare Geschichten: die vom Schatz am Ende des Regenbogens zum Beispiel. Das Stück der Genfer Compagnie ist ein poetisches Märchen für Kinder und Erwachsene auf technisch und philosophisch höchstem Niveau. Völlig zu Recht wurde die Produktion zum Schweizer Theatertreffen 2023 eingeladen.

Die Geschichte hat das Bild von Weihnachten, wie wir es heute kennen, massgeblich geprägt, indem sie uns an die Essenz des Festes erinnert ein Kontrastpunkt zum oft vorherrschenden Konsumrausch.
Die Bühnenfassung von «A Christmas Carol» hat international von Tokio bis Malta begeistert. Unter der Regie von Paul Stebbings und Christian Flint verwandelt sich diese Adaption in ein eindrucksvolles Theatererlebnis, das das Publikum gleichermassen zum Lachen und zum Weinen bringt. Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” ignites a firework display of love, chaos, magic and misunderstandings. The TNT Theatre brings this spectacle to the stage with an explosive mixture of music and dance that faithfully illuminates the Bard’s most popular comedy. The wild forest is tempting and exciting, but it is just as dangerous as Theseus’ rigorously organised Athens. The famous “green space” is home to the fairy folk and other fantastic creatures, who ultimately entangle an Athenian couple in a hilarious web of love, confusion and transformation as they flee from tradition and convention. The fairy king Oberon and his wife Titania pull the strings in the shadows, while the mischievous Puck transforms love into chaos with a magic potion. As dawn breaks, the adventures they have experienced seem like a dream.
Das TNT Theatre bringt Shakespeares «Sommernachtstraum» mit einer explosiven Mischung aus Musik und Tanz auf die Bühne, welche die beliebteste Komödie des Barden originalgetreu beleuchtet.
Der Feenwald ist verlockend und aufregend aber er ist genauso gefährlich wie Theseus’ streng geordnetes Athen. Im Wald tummeln sich das Feenvolk sowie andere fantastische Kreaturen, welche ein Athener Liebespaar auf der Flucht von Tradition und Konvention schliesslich in eine urkomische Verkettung von Liebe, Verwirrung und Verwandlung verwickeln. Der Elfenkönig Oberon und seine Gattin Titania ziehen die Fäden im Hintergrund, während der schelmische Puck mit einem Zaubertrank Liebe in Chaos verwandelt. Als der Morgen graut, erscheinen die erlebten Abenteuer wie ein Traum.

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel takes us to the New York of the Roaring Twenties, into a world in which exaltation and genuine feelings, business and crime, appearance and reality form an ominous mixture.
Young Nick Carraway settles on Long Island to start a career as a broker in nearby New York. Here he becomes the neighbour of a mysterious man who lives alone in a spectacular mansion. He becomes an onlooker at his glamorous parties, where the eccentric New York socialites cavort without ever meeting their host face to face. One day, Carraway receives an invitation to the next party. It soon becomes clear that the encounter is no coincidence, but part of a plan to bring Gatsby a reunion with his great childhood sweetheart Daisy, who is now married and lives on the other side of the bay.

Paul Stebbings is an accomplished theatre director, actor, and playwright with a distinguished career in the performing arts. He holds a firstclass degree from the University of Bristol Drama Department and serves as the Artistic Director of both TNT Theatre and the American Drama Group Europe. He is also an associate director at Teatro Espressivo de Costa Rica and a regular director at the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre. His contributions to theatre have earned him numerous awards, including the Arts Achievement Award in Singapore, accolades from the Shandong Theatre Festival, and recognition at the Shanghai Comedy Festival. Notably, he was honored with an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2014 for his services to drama. Paul Stebbings and his company have been welcome guests at Theater Winterthur for some time now. They manage to breathe new life into dusty classics and stage difficult texts such as Shakespeare in a cheeky and vibrant way.
After its foundation in 1980, the TNT Theatre company quickly established itself as a significant player in the global theater scene. TNT Theatre is the touring arm of the American Drama Group Europe (ADGE), focusing on presenting classic and contemporary works to audiences worldwide.
