Welcome Back.
T
he artistic growth shown in the creative endeavours undertaken by Theatre Calgary since March 2020 has moved and inspired me as an artistic director and theatre-maker. The theatre is one of my favourite places to learn. It’s like going to school. It’s my church. It’s my home. Not having a “home” for over 18 months has been heartbreaking. As we enter into a new era of safety, healing, and the re-opening of our home, TC Returns is Theatre Calgary’s small way of saying “thank you” to YOU... you sensational supporters of theatre, the arts, and our collective home, Theatre Calgary. Please enjoy the show!

A
s we embark on our new season I am profoundly grateful we are able to be back on stage. Theatre Calgary could not have made it without the support of all of you. Your support has been nothing short of remarkable and to say we could not have done it without you would be an understatement. Though we will always look back with deep sadness at all we have lost, I hope that we can celebrate the now, the ability to share live experiences together again, safely. Thanks to Craig Senyk Initiatives we are back in front of you, the Theatre Calgary friends and family to mark the beginning of this new phase.
