REOPEN PLAN: PHASE 2
These rules are in place for the safety and benefit of all members and staff. The goal is to open the facility gradually as we minimize the risk of further exposure or closures due to COVID-19. We are confident that we can expand if we all adhere to the temporary policy restructure.
What to Expect Upon Arrival
Check-In Station • Beginning Friday, May 15, a check-in station will be available at the pool security gate. If you are on campus for tennis, fitness, or swimming, please enter through the pool security gate. Members who are on campus for restaurant dining may enter through the Clubhouse. • All Members will have their temperature taken and logged, along with their destination. Members who have a fever (temperature of 99.5 or higher, per local health officials) will not be allowed to use our facilities. • Please make sure you are washing your hands, using our hand sanitization stations, maintaining a distance of 6 feet or more and practicing proper cough/sneeze hygiene while on campus. • If you are sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick, please stay home and do not use the Club until it is safe to do so per the CDC guidelines. • No guests, additional family members, or reciprocal guests are allowed. Employees • Face masks are required for all employees. Members are welcome to use face masks while navigating campus, but are not required. Gloves are optional. • All employees will be required to sign an acknowledgment form that they have no symptoms or known exposure. Their temperature will be taken and recorded. • A hand sanitization station will be located at the employee entrance, as well as many locations around campus.

Tennis Play
Hours of Operation | 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday-Sunday RESERVATIONS • Reservations are required via the Courts Reservation module on our website. Reservations will be held in 1½-hour increments with a 30-minute buffer in between reservations. • Reservations must be made 24-hours in advance. A no-show will incur a $20 penalty. • You are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your reservation. INFORMATION • Singles & doubles are allowed. • Lessons are available Monday-Friday. Weekends are reserved for Member play. Lessons can be booked by emailing briarshop@thebriarclub.com. • Be respectful of others. Play only in your allotted time. • Bring your own equipment (balls, water, etc.) • The Briar Shop will be closed. A representative from the tennis department will be on campus for drop-off stringing or ball purchasing. • Locker rooms will be closed so that we may focus cleaning/sanitization efforts to one area. The Sports Court restrooms will be available. • No guests are allowed. • Once you have finished play, please do not linger. Please help us minimize the number of people on campus at any given time.
Pickleball

Lap Swimming
Hours of Operation | 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday-Sunday RESERVATIONS • You do not need a reservation for lap swimming, but please keep in mind all social distancing guidelines and arrive when you are ready to swim and leave once you are done. INFORMATION • The Competition Pool and Adult Lap Pool are open for lap swimming only. • Both pools are limited to one person per lane. • Bring your own equipment (boards, goggles, etc.) • Locker rooms will be closed so that we may focus cleaning/sanitization efforts to one area. The Sports Court restrooms will be available. • No guests are allowed. • Once you have finished swimming, please do not linger. Restaurant Dining
The Lounge, the Bistro and the Terrace will be open for lunch service from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and dinner service from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The last reservation each evening will be at 8:00 pm. RESERVATIONS • Reservations are required. Members arriving without a reservation will not be able to dine. Reservations can be made up to a week in advance. INFORMATION • The Bistro, Terrace, and the Lounge will be open. No other Clubhouse areas (Veranda, Library, Wine Room, etc.) will be open. • There is a maximum of 6 people per table. All tables must be 6 feet apart. We are not able to seat parties next to each other or combine reservations. • Our a la carte menu is available for to-go ordering! Family Resort Pool
Hours of Operation | 10:00 am - 2:00 pm & 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday-Sunday RESERVATIONS • Reservations are required via the Club Calendar on our website or app. You may make a reservation for one time slot per day, either 10:00 am - 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm, or 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm. INFORMATION • You may make a reservation for either time period per day. To ensure we can accommodate as many families as possible, you may not make more than one reservation in a three-day period. • Upon check-in, you will receive a wristband. Wristbands must be worn at all times. • The pool will be closed 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm for deep cleaning. • Family locker room restrooms will be available, but locker room/shower facilities will be closed and blocked off.

Barracuda Café & Breezes
Hours of Operation | 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, Tuesday-Sunday beginning May 15 RESERVATIONS • Ordering capability is available with your pool reservation. If you do not have a pool reservation, you will not be able to order. INFORMATION • You must have a wristband for that day’s pool reservation to order. Members on campus for other activities (tennis, fitness, etc.) will not be able to order. • Orders will be placed at the counter by the Member and delivered to your table by a staff member. No poolside dining service is available at this time.
Fitness Center
Hours of Operation | 7:00 am - 2:00 pm & 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday-Sunday beginning May 18 RESERVATIONS • Reservations are required via the Fitness Center reservation system on our mobile app. Reservations will be held in 1-hour increments and can be made up to 24 hours in advance. INFORMATION • Reservations must be made using the Briar Club mobile app. Each hour slot is limited to 22 people. • The Fitness Center will be closed from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm for deep cleaning. • Gloves are required per governor’s orders. Masks are not required but are strongly recommended while navigating campus.

Group Fitness
Limited in-person classes are held throughout the week. Schedules may vary. RESERVATIONS • Reservations are required via the Briar Club mobile app. INFORMATION • Each class is limited to 15 people. • Classes are held on the Briar Lawn, weather permitting. • Bring your own equipment (mats, etc.) • Virtual classes will continue to be offered until further notice.
Additional Information
Areas that will remain closed include: Library, Wine Room, Kids Club, Hideout, Nursery, Playground, the Briar Lawn, the Veranda and the End Zone. All of these protocols are subject to change or adjustment. This is a “new normal” for all of us; all policies will be under continued review and adjustments will be made where appropriate. Your service experience may be a little different than what we are normally able to provide, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this new territory. As always, the safety of our Members and staff are our highest priority. Your cooperation with these procedures will help us ensure that we are able to proceed with our phased reopening. 7
