MISSION

To be the leading international Club in Singapore, exceeding the expectations of our Members and their families.

Dear Members,

Whilst we are very happy that we can finally return to the Club and enjoy the facilities and food, you might recall that it was a rainy start to the first couple of weeks of the Club reopening and things have been undoubtedly slow, albeit we have been extremely busy in the Windsor Arms over the weekends. Even with the safe management measures implemented that have curtailed some activities, I am sure that most Members are just glad that they can come to the Club whenever they need a breather from everyday life. On this note, I thank all of you for your patience and readiness in adapting to this new normal together with us.

Although we are unable to plan and organise events just yet, it is a very happy sight as we see the sports facilities being used, with swimming and tennis lessons taking place again. In order to ensure that the Club is first and foremost enjoyed by the Members and especially as many of us may normally have been away travelling over this period, we have had to limit the number of guests each Member can bring to the Club. In addition, we also need to ensure all Members only book a maximum of one table for a group of up to 5 diners at any dining outlet at any one time. This is necessary not only to help us manage the number of

people in the Club but more importantly making sure that every Member gets the chance to enjoy the excellent Club dining options. We seek your kind understanding on this.

Of course, you may also encourage your friends and families who are not members to join the Club and enjoy the full range of services that we provide. Do check out our latest Member Referral opportunity and help to spread the word about our great New Member promotion. You may find more information in this issue.

Finally, at the time of writing, we are unsure of what August and September might bring us with COVID-19 and the government’s position on continuing to relax the measures but let’s stay positive and hopefully as the situation in Singapore improves, we are able to bring back your favourite events and activities. Enjoy this combined bi-monthly issue in the meantime, and please stay safe and healthy.

Dear Members,

We were delighted to be able to reopen the Club on 19 June as we entered Phase 2, albeit, with certain restrictions related to social distancing and safety.

You might have noticed that we have reduced capacities in the dining outlets to allow for the one-metre between tables regulation and removed the sun loungers and seating by the pool as members are not yet encouraged to linger or socialise. We also have a capacity allowance for the pool areas, so members are encouraged to leave the area once your swimming is done so that other members can swim.

Despite new restrictions that we must follow during this period we are all delighted to be back in business, and it has been great for our team and I welcome you all back to the Club.

Whilst, inevitably, we have lost a larger number of members over the past few months due to relocation, we have also been delighted with a higher than normal number of new members joining the Club recently. Thank you to those of you who have referred friends and colleagues to join.

I would like to thank all Members for your kind cooperation and patience during this period. As a token of appreciation for your support, the Club has credited three

months’ worth of F&B credits into your account. The amount reflects the subscriptions paid for April, May, and June. Do note that these credits are valid for 12 months, till 31 May 2021.

As mentioned, with the current operating restrictions, the Club is still unable to bring back your favourite events such as the monthly wine dinner and even the long-awaited summer camp. This is a decision that was made in consideration for your safety and wellbeing, and it is also paramount that we adhere to the national advisories to ensure that the Club can remain open. You might be pleased to know that the Club has passed with flying colours during the numerous checks by the government agencies on safe management measures.

We hope that things continue to improve, and slowly but surely, we may regain our operations at full capacity. Meanwhile, have a read at our August/ September combined issue for the interesting articles and promotions we have for you.

See you at the Club.

UNDERTAKING A WEALTH WORKOUT

Over the past few weeks, many of our clients have been keen to review their financial situation, to check how fit it is in the current climate. It’s always useful to keep a close eye on your financial fitness. This can help your own peace of mind and ensure you are in a strong position when normal activities resume.

Review your Will

It’s useful to always check your Will every five years to ensure it’s as you need it to be. As your children grow up, you may want to review your plans. Make sure your executors are still valid, and bear in mind Inheritance Tax too – you may be able to reduce it through gifts to registered charities or other allowances.

Set

up Lasting Powers of Attorney

One of the most important documents when it comes to estate planning is a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA). An LPA allows you to elect who can make financial and health decisions on your behalf if you are unable to do so. It’s important to have one so that if the need arises, the right tools are in place.

Consider Inheritance Tax

Inheritance Tax (IHT) can be significantly reduced with careful planning. One of the most useful ways to consider is by providing regular gifts – perhaps to grandchildren. These gifts out of income fall outside of the IHT net, but remember to keep a record of payments in case of any queries.

Review your investment portfolio

Checking your portfolio is well structured and in line with your attitude to risk is especially important at the moment. Review your pensions too as consolidating them might offer some benefits. Do seek advice if you are nearing the lifetime allowance (£1,073,000 in 2020). You may be comfortable making a monthly contribution into investments rather than a lump sum.

Take advantage of tax allowances

There are a range of tax allowances available every year including ISAs, pension tax relief and Capital Gains Tax so check you are using them to best effect. Married couples and civil partners may benefit from dividing assets to make the most of any allowances.

Nominate pension benefits

Don’t forget to nominate who you would want to benefit from your pension assets. These tend to fall outside of your estate, but you can usually nominate a beneficiary through your pension provider’s website.

Get your paperwork in order

It’s useful to review and shred unnecessary paperwork. Create an asset summary, which contains details of what they are, where to find them with bank account numbers and passwords, and let your family or executors know where to find a copy.

Check your insurance

It’s useful to ensure that your life insurance, income protection and critical illness policies are relevant and offer you the best deal. You can protect any life policy with sensible trust planning, to help reduce exposure to IHT.

Reduce your bills

By reviewing your outgoings, you may be able to identify expensive bills. Simple changes such as changing energy supplier could significantly reduce your monthly bills.

Review cash savings

If you have cash savings in a current account, you may benefit from moving them to bonds or notice accounts. National Savings & Investments (NS&I) –which are government guaranteed – offer consistently more interest than banks.

We have been helping British expatriates with all areas of tax planning for over 120 years. If you would like our assistance with any tax, wealth or estate planning needs we would be delighted to help you.

MEMBER IN THE SPOTLIGHT

In this issue of Member in the Spotlight, meet Brent Merrick, General Manager of a downstream oil business here in Singapore, and his family to find out what they love about the Club.

What made you join the Club and is there any particular aspect of the Club that impressed you the most?

This is our second stint in Singapore, and when we returned this time round, we made Singapore our home. Without fear of a sudden departure, we decided to join The British Club and we appreciate our little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. We love the relaxed family atmosphere the most. The facilities and events look after everyone in our family.

Tell us about your family and yourself.

We are from Australia, but all three of our children (1, 3 and 6 years old) were born here in Singapore, and Singapore is the only home that they know.

How often do you visit the Club?

Various members of the family use the gym, spa, attend swim classes, rebound classes, restaurants (oh, the curry!), bingo nights, comedy nights and everything on offer at Amanda’s favourite time of the year – Christmas. The family absolutely loves the annual Pantomime, Family Christmas Party, lighting of the tree, and the various art and cooking classes offered in December. At least one of us would be driving up the hill 3-5 times a week.

What is the one dish you would recommend your guests try if they visited the Club?

Most of the lovely staff know our Sunday evening order by heart! ‘Non vegetarian set with Murg Makhani, and upgraded to garlic naan’. We love the Indian curries offered so much that Amanda signed up for the Indian Cooking classes last year… we still go to the Club for our curries ;-)

Tell us a little more about your profession.

I have worked for a downstream oil business for 20 years and have enjoyed a wide variety of roles such as process engineering (where I put my Chemical engineering into practice), project management, business to business sales, supply management and trading. I have spent the last four years as General Manager here in Singapore, leading the shipping and trading business as we grow the business internationally.

Finally, share with us something interesting about yourself.

My wife and I did engineering at the same university, but didn’t meet until 4 years after graduation!

Most of the lovely staff know our Sunday evening order by heart!

Patients frequently ask why their teeth are changing colour, and what they can do about it. Some discolourations can easily be treated by just a good clean but for others, treatment is not quite as simple.

To understand why your teeth are changing colour, it is important to understand what is causing it. The types of discolourations include:

1. Extrinsic discolouration is created through external factors that stain the teeth over time. The usual culprits include coffee, tea, smoking, red wine and certain foods. Stain particles from the pigmented residue of the food, beverage or tobacco build up in the film of protein that covers the tooth enamel. Eventually, the pigments can sink into the tooth enamel and become harder to remove.

2. Intrinsic discolouration develops in the internal components of your teeth, mainly affecting the dentin. There are a number of possible causes including tooth trauma, infections, decay and stained or damaged fillings.

3. Age related staining - like many things in your body, your teeth show signs of aging as you get older. You can expect to see two main changes to your teeth as you age: your dentin gets darker and your enamel gets

WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT STAINED TEETH?

thinner. The combination causes unwanted discolourations that is mostly out of your control.

Discolourations can also occur if the outer layer of enamel has worn away - for instance, through excessive brushing, erosion and/or tooth grinding. The teeth appear to be yellowing as the inner component of the tooth is more yellow.

4. Developmental discolourations – there are factors that can cause the teeth to develop abnormally. Hypoplasia, antibiotic staining, fluorosis and other hereditary conditions can affect the appearance of the teeth from the moment they erupt into the mouth. Fortunately, most of these conditions are either mild or not too common.

What can you do to remove stains?

Extrinsic stains are the easiest to treat and often a good clean at the dentist can make a huge difference. For deeper extrinsic staining, whitening products can help, this includes certain toothpastes and take-home or in-chair whitening treatments.

For intrinsic, age-related or developmental discolourations, the solutions can be more involved. For some, whitening products can offer

some improvements but others may require masking the issue with some form of a restoration such as fillings and veneers.

What can you do to prevent stains?

Keep your teeth healthy by maintaining a consistent oral health routine but be careful not to brush too hard!

When you do consume staining foods and beverages, you can mitigate their effects in several ways. Drink tea or coffee with a little milk. Minimise the exposure time of your teeth to fruit juices, sports drinks, soda and other carbonated beverages by not sipping on them all day. And for both, have a good rinse with water afterwards.

Not sure what to do next?

Tooth discolouration is common and can happen to anyone for a variety of reasons. If you have any concerns or are unsure about what is causing the discolouration, it is best to speak to your dentist who will let you know the options available to you.

A BRITISH CLUB UPDATE by the Marketing team:

WHILE YOU WERE SNOOZING…

Phase Two happened, the Club reopened, and we dived into the new normal with various measures put in place for the safety of our Members and staff. We promise it is not all boring and dampening.

For starters, have you checked out our new Personal Workstations? If you are looking for a change of scenery or simply to get out of the house, grab your laptop and head to the Club! We provide complimentary use of Elizabeth Suites 1 and 2 if you prefer to work remotely in a more relaxed, even serene, environment. Pretty sure you have to reserve a spot in advance, so speak to our Banquet Sales team (banquetsales@britishclub.org.sg) to find out more. Alternatively, our lovely Work Hub is also available.

Just like any of the dining establishments at Robertson Quay, Holland Village, or anywhere really, they will tell you the same thing - only a maximum of five diners are allowed for group meals. Here at the Club, our dining outlets are no different. We love our Members and we know the importance of Club experience. It is on this note that we have to abide very closely to the Government guidelines on safe management measures, otherwise we face the dreadful consequence of being asked to cease operations indefinitely. Surely we don’t want that.

Alas, with the unavoidable social distancing of at least one-metre in the various dining outlets, and in general all facilities at the Club, capacity is reduced. To ensure that all Members get the opportunity to enjoy the dining options and sporting facilities, we have implemented a guest policy to limit the number of guests that each Member can bring. You will be surprised how this helps the Club regulate the crowd and in turn provide a more enjoyable experience for everyone visiting the Club!

Trust us when we say we want the Club to return to the previous operating capacity but unfortunately, these are matters beyond our control. We understand that these new Club measures can and may be overwhelming, or even bizarre to some. To help our Members cope with this, the Club put together a team of Safe Distancing Ambassadors. They are here not to police bad behaviour, but to encourage the ones that can help us stay safe and ensure that the Club can continue to stay open.

We would appreciate it if you could say Hello or offer a friendly smile to these ambassadors, and cooperate with them as they help us ensure that all group activities are kept to a maximum of five people, masks are worn where applicable, and the maximum capacity of facilities and other safe distancing measures are observed.

Fret not if you are unsure of our Phase Two Measures and Safe Distancing regulations, the Marketing team has been updating the website regularly basis with relevant information and regulations as they unfold. The information will also be shared in our weekly e-newsletters. For those of you who have yet to follow or subscribe to these channels, we encourage you to do so to stay in the know.

Let us do our part to continue making the Club a safe haven for all of us!

LIFE IS NOT LINEAR

Why accepting this concept can be key

to your wellbeing

Travel to a dream destination?

A brave leap into a new career? A major celebration with family and friends? Whatever your plans were for 2020, back on New Year’s Eve, I can guarantee that they did not involve social distancing, economic uncertainty, and weeks of being stuck in your home.

However, there is one important caveat I always share with young mothers-inwaiting, painstakingly preparing the details of their imminent delivery.

Life is not linear. It often has its own plans. Straight lines are a human concept. In fact, the easiest way to determine a man-made environment from a natural one is to look for straight sides and perfectly cut angles. And it’s easy to see how this linear mindset has invaded, not just our environments, but also our approach to life.

For instance, these days it’s not enough to have a goal; a target; an aspiration. We are also unconsciously bound to the idea that we must create an exact plan on how to get there. A logical plan. A reasoned plan. An acceptable plan that ticks all the boxes and, preferably, has been tried and tested by others before us. A plan that takes us from A to Z in the shortest possible fashion; in a straight line.

All across the world, the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown lives into complete disarray and triggered feelings of anxiety, frustration and grief. However, amidst the emotional and logistical turmoil, the pandemic has also sent an undeniable reminder to humanity: life is not linear. And, for your happiness and emotional wellbeing, that may be one of the most important concepts you can understand.

To help me illustrate my point, let’s start at the beginning … i.e. the very beginning.

You see, birth plans are all the rage now. When I had my children, at the turn of the millennium, it was becoming popular to choose a birthplace, position (and sometimes date) of your soon-to-arrive baby. These days, I understand that the idea of a well-researched, welldocumented birth plan is ubiquitous.

Of course, it’s a wise idea to be prepared for childbirth — we aren’t regularly exposed to the birth experiences of other women, as we were in the times of small villages and tight-knit communities.

And here’s the biggest challenge with that: we can become attached to our plan. We can begin to believe that our plan is not just a wish list of events and achievements – a preference for what may unfold. Instead, we begin to view this plan as a definitive road map of how things should happen; are going to happen; must happen in order for us to achieve the goal we desire.

For many people, this attachment to the ‘right plan’ is automatic and unconscious. Even the most self-aware and adaptable among us can fall prey to a process we believe should be happening. And, sadly, this attitude can undermine our level of energy, enthusiasm and fulfilment by:

• blinding us to opportunities and possibilities that are great for us, but that aren’t obviously aligned with our plan;

• compelling us to waste energy chasing dead end options or pushing against unripe opportunities (because we believe these to be necessary to our plan);

• stimulating feelings of disappointment, anger or self-admonishment if we don’t, or can’t, follow the plan as we had intended.

As recent months have shown us, even the most robust plans can be upended; even the best laid paths can be fraught with detours and dead ends. But this doesn’t mean you won’t achieve your goals. More probably, it means that the route to accomplishment lies in a direction you had not accounted for.

Life is not linear and, for a happier life, I encourage you to recognise and accept this vital concept. Build adaptability into your dreams and schemes. Avoid regarding your future projections as defined personal strategies, carved in stone. Instead, view your plans as everevolving ‘rough drafts’, etched lightly in pencil and ready to be enhanced by the glow of possibility, or redirected by the winds of change.

THE EVOLUTION OF THE FACE MASK

Who would have thought of the face mask as a fashion statement or an essential accessory to be worn while outdoors? What was once thought of as purely a medical necessity has become an essential instrument in protecting us and everyone around us. Fashion moguls around the world have stylised and branded their own line of masks. If you have to wear it, why not look good in it? Just google face masks and there is a multitude to choose from.

The importance of wearing a mask has become a talking point and an issue of personal freedom in countries like the UK and the US. Many feel that it is their duty and responsibility to don a mask, to keep themselves and the people around them safe. There are those, however, who argue that forcing everyone to wear a mask infringes upon their civil liberties. (scratch head here)

Quoted from CNN.com on 7 Jul 2020,

“The idea of doing one’s part should be so simple,” the 63-year-old actor, Tom Hanks, said on the “TODAY” show Tuesday in his first TV interview since recovering from Covid-19.

“Wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands. That alone means you are contributing to the betterment of your house, your work, your town, your society as a whole and it is such a small thing,” Hanks said.

“It’s a mystery to me how somehow that has been wiped out of what should be ingrained in the behaviour of us all. Simple things. Do your part,” he added.

In many Asian countries, wearing a mask was a cultural norm long before the COVID-19 outbreak. In East Asia, masks were worn when people were feeling sick as it is considered impolite to sneeze or cough openly. In other parts of Asia, pollution has made it normal for people to wear masks.

In these times, THE mask is paramount in our fight against COVID-19 and for the greater good of public health. Stepping out in public without one will get you disapproving looks. Of course, on a more serious note, you would get fined by the authorities for not wearing your mask. Most importantly, in our opinion, by not wearing a mask, you risk putting the Club, its staff and other members, of receiving a stop work order if the authorities conducted a surprise spot check.

We have to wear a mask whether we like it or not. Wearing a mask before leaving the house should have become a ritual by now, like wearing your shoes. Wash your hands, practice social distancing. Every bit counts as the world continues to wage against the virus.

Let’s look at the positive side of it. It was not so long ago when surgical masks were out of stock, producers could not produce fast enough and sellers on black markets quoted sky high prices on this to-be necessity. We are happy to say that in this short period of time, it has evolved, and people have become more innovative. Disposable surgical masks have always been plain and uninteresting compared to the wide variety of handmade designer masks out there in the market. From big brands like Louis Vuitton and Chanel to the artisanal ones, masks have become a statement piece in everyday life. If you must wear one, why not wear one that makes a statement or one that suits your personality or even outfit?

If you are rather quirky and particular about matching your mask with the occasion, you might be pleased to know that the Club is coming up with its very own line of British Club face masks. It is washable, reusable, and needless to say, looks just as trendy.

Inspired by Member, Jim Rowan, who wore his handmade face mask

perfectly donned with our Club logo, we applaud his ingenuity and are excited; we can’t wait to show you our Club-branded mask that will be making its way to the Windsor Shop very soon.

Whichever side about mask-wearing you are on, we are all on the same page: COVID-19 is here to stay, at least for a while whether we like it or not, until a vaccine is found. Since resisting it is not a clever option, going with the flow (and exploring the fun side of mask-wearing), might be your best bet. After all, as Bill Nye said in his viral TikTok mask experiment, “Everybody, this is a matter, literally, of life and death.”

Stay woke, stay cool. Wear your mask and don’t be that fool.

British Club Football Section

With COVID-19 impacting every part of our lives, it was inevitable that we would also see an impact to our sporting lives and since late March, we have been unable to “grace” the fields at the Cage.

Did that stop the juggernaut that is the BCFC? No, it didn’t!

With a rally around, the Football Committee went straight into action and several key activities were developed to ensure we all stayed connected and active whilst adhering to the different phases.

Our key activities included, “Chug the Mug” with a section Zoom that saw the challenge not just reaching the whole of the section, but also passing across the Globe with the BCFC Exiles in the UK, Germany, Australia and Hong Kong taking on the challenge.

With Mike Hughes demonstrating his “techie” skills, a weekly Zoom was set up to keep us all connected and boosting morale weekly. This became a weekly quiz that kept us all entertained and our spirits high and I’d like to pass on the whole Section’s thanks to Mike and his helpers at home that got this set up.

We also decided to source for a much needed new kit and having been through a number of vendors, we decided to stay with Kukri. We’d like to thank our two key sponsors, The Fry Group and Seam Co, for their ongoing sponsorship. A big thanks to Kenny Cowgill for taking the lead on this and getting us sorted.

With the BCFC expecting that we stayed fit and ready for the call to play again, we saw the first of two challenges come forward.

BCFC Challenge - which consisted of a 1 km and 5 km run and two bike challenges set at 5 km and 20 km. We had regular updates with Personal Bests and some great rivalry keeping everyone on their toes! A big thanks for those who participated.

Not satisfied with this we then saw our own second wave, with “Jim’s Circuit Breaker Challenge” being born.

This was a new challenge that was extended to include the section members’ families as well. Our initial target was to log enough kilometres to get us from Singapore to the UK.

With Stewie Frame managing the km’s, it became apparent that we would beat the initial target so it was extended to get us back to SG before we returned to Football. This is still ongoing with some great distances recorded!

We saw some massive km’s set by the team here in SG, but also from past members in Scotland: John Rennie; Australia: Bryan Weir; Japan: Mike Thornton; England: Nick Challoner and James Morris; and here we saw huge efforts made by:

Jim Rowan, Tim Risbridger, Xander, Robin T, Dave Maund, Kiffy, Mark Billington, Kenny C, the Hughes family, the Donnelly family, Steve Hodge, Stewie Frame, Paul Davies and our very own flying machine Jacob Saurin! Patrick also recorded a sensational time with his drone!!!

We did sustain some injuries - a number of hamstrings, back and leg injuries were reported along with

saddle sores and the occasional defeat to tarmac, as over eager cyclists came a cropper! You know who you are - Kiffy & Robin!

We have also looked to do our bit for charity whilst keeping fit and our chosen charity is the TWC2 (Transient Workers Count Too). If you would like to support them and us, please see the link as under: https://www.giving. sg/campaigns/bcfc_virtual_distance_ challenge_for_twc2

As is so often the case, we will lose some key players and characters this summer, some to university, others to work assignments and some to retirement. We wish all the best to Paul & Sue McNamara and their family, a regular player (if not scorer): You will be sadly missed at the Cage and on tour! We also lose Josh Simpson, Archie Pond, Ian Marr, Rob Bowers and Caleb Kiff: We wish you all the very best in your new adventures and endeavours.

Finally, I’d like to sign off with a big thank you to the BCFC Committee for their hard work and initiatives that have seen the Section continue to stay in contact, active and healthy. This is a testament to the strength and camaraderie that exist in the section. Hopefully we will return to Football soon, in the meantime stay safe and remember the BCFC expects.

Social squash is back at

The British Club!

As we entered Phase Two post-circuit breaker, the Squash section received the exciting news that the courts were to be reopened, and social squash could restart! The section (thanks AV!) set up additional measures to be sure the requirements of this phase were followed diligently, including splitting our social sessions into two blocks to

limit the numbers of players at the courts at at any one time. Even with those constraints, it has been great to be back in action.

AV has also been hard at work integrating our burgeoning ladies’ section into the weekly schedule. The ladies have their own social on Thursday evenings and now also have courts reserved early on a Saturday afternoon right before the men, and we hope that some may like to stay on and turn Saturday afternoons into a mixed session. Any ladies who would like to get on court should contact Emma Pike for details.

The photos highlight the additional measures taken during social, and celebrations after playing squash for the first time in over two months!

Tennis Restarts after Circuit Breaker

As we entered Phase Two of Singapore’s exit from the Circuit Breaker, it’s really great to be back on court hearing the crack of the ball being hit by all of our enthusiastic Tennis players, followed by the post-match analysis in Scores when it opened.

We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of all the opportunities to be involved with the Tennis Section and the opportunities to play now that the Club is again starting to thrive.

Weekly Socials

Monday Morning Ladies’ Social: A great opportunity to start the week with some fantastic doubles and socialising.

Monday Evening Men’s Social: After the weekend, pull your racket out of the bag and play some social men’s doubles! Don’t forget the free drink voucher on the first Monday of the month.

Friday Evening Mixed Doubles: What a great way to start the weekend with some fantastic mixed tennis. Rumour has it that this is becoming the most popular tennis event of the week with four courts often being booked out for this great social.

Saturday Themed Socials: These include the All White Wimbledon Social and The Red Hat X’mas Social, which will start once we are allowed to increase the social numbers.

If you are interested in any of the Socials, please contact the tennis section who will put you in contact with the Social organiser to register your weekly interest ensuring that courts are readily available for you.

For those who like a little bit more, we offer:

Men’s/Ladies’ Box Leagues: Get competitive with your fellow section members and win the box to be promoted.

Open Tournament: This will be held later in the year and we look forward to seeing all of our players battling it out to be crowned the 2020 Champion. If you are looking to improve your game, we offer -

• Junior Coaching Programme

• U17 Coaching/Hitting Sessions

• Men’s Saturday Coaching Session

• Ladies’ WITS Coaching Sessions

• Private Individual/Group Sessions

If you are interested in any of these coaching options, please reach out to the Club who will put you in contact with the coaches to arrange a session.

Finally, it’s just fantastic to see you all on court and if you would like further information, please drop the tennis section an email at tennis@britishclub.org.sg
