GM’S MESSAGE Dear Members, With the arrival of the festive season, I am happy to present your guide to the festive celebrations at the Club. Delight your taste buds with an exquisite offering of traditional and festive-themed food offerings. Packed into the celebrations are also a variety of fun activities suited for every member of the family. Do refer to this festive guide to help you plan for this season as well as to snag up all the yuletide goodies made available just for you. Pamper your loved ones with an assortment of British Hampers, each packed with only the best goodies from the UK at the Windsor Shop. Pre-made Christmas Trimmings are also on offer, to save you the hassle of preparing your own. From 2 to 18 December, start your Christmas celebrations early by partaking in a range of food and beverage options, starting with a traditional British Festive Dinner at The Windsor Arms and a Yuletide Pre-Christmas Lunch & Dinner Buffet at the Verandah Café, held every Saturday and Sunday. From 4 December onwards, head down to the Mountbatten Room every Sunday for the Yuletide Christmas Sunday Roast. A complimentary bottle of animal print outfit for a wild night of fun, games and wine awaits every group of 4, so bring your friends music in our Ladies Night: Safari Chic on Thursday, 15 December. Enjoy a traditional 3-course Christmas down. Dinner with free flow wines for the evening. Back by popular demand, the annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Wedesday and Thursday, 16 and 17 November. Look out for an exciting array of fashion accessories, children’s wear, home accessories and many other amazing bargains. There will also be a Christmas Tree Decorating Challenge on 19 November for the family, and not to forget our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony complete with Christmas carols, mince pies and mulled wine. Taking place on 28 November, be sure to bring your family down to witness this beautiful event. On the first three Saturdays of December, bring your children and whole family down to the Club and meet Santa as he drops by The British Club. Lucky ones might even get a chance to get a gift or even sit on his lap! We will also be bringing back the ever popular Christmas Pantomime, happening on Sunday, 4 December at the Elizabeth Suite, featuring Jack and The Beanstalk. A family event definitely not to be missed! Ladies, take a break from the Christmas preparations, unleash your spirit animal and come in your best
Come New Year’s Eve, gear up for our year-end celebrations as we countdown to 2017 at our Black and White NYE Ball! Usher in the New Year in elegance and style, as you are greeted with a champagne and cocktail reception followed by an exquisite 5-course dinner with free-flow wines and beer, and fantastic live entertainment that will surely get you dancing all night long. And of course for our families, we have a Superhero family countdown at the Verandah Café, complete with fun, games, entertainment and a live DJ for the young and old alike.
