The Face of America Magazine
Swedish based start-up, Jetson, have created a personal electric aerial vehicle available to everyone. The unveiling of the Jetson ONE eVTOL aircraft will take place on 21st October 2021. Jetson was founded by Peter Ternstrom and Tomasz Patan in 2017. After successfully creating a prototype “proof of concept” in the spring of 2018. The personal electric aerial vehicle market is relatively new with an estimated 170 companies in the world trying to build ying cars at this present moment. Of these 170 companies, only 7 have created something viable with only 2 companies currently o ering a product available to the consumer. Other companies that have something tangible are companies such as Airbus and Google. Comparatively to the other products on the market the Jetson ONE requires virtually no maintenance, it is an extremely compact VTOL , that re-charges faster than a smartphone with an incredibly futuristic design.

While diving, the protected “Gull Wing” design provides an unrivalled versatility of operation. With the wings retracted, the submersible is streamlined for ascent and descent, and capable of manoeuvring in and around incredibly tight spaces. The low placement of the lighting and cameras is ideal for macro work, scienti c observation or close lming.
With the wings partially deployed, the Triton Titanic Explorer’s Silent Glide feature enables to the submersible to track objects, maintain a heading and glide towards points of interest without engaging its eight, direct-drive thrusters.

Fully deployed, the Gull Wings raise the vehicle’s propulsion up and away from the seabed, ensuring that delicate species or free- oating objects remain undisturbed. Cameras, placed at the wing tips, provide a perfect external vantage point from which to lm the submersible and its occupants; perfect for presenter-led productions. As a platform, the Triton Titanic Explorer’s capabilities are simply unmatched.

REBUS SIGNET RINGS Made in London
The Face of America Magazine
Reviving the craftsmanship and luxury of handcrafted signet rings and pendants, Hatton Garden atelier and workshop, Rebus, has modernized the tradition of sealing with a signet. From business correspondences to love letters, and updating gift wrap under the tree, a personal seal demonstrates the debonair. This holiday season, Rebus adds new ways to style and seal, with new shield shapes, as well as engravable gemstone faces on signature signets. In the Rebus workshop, generations of engravers and goldsmiths come together to work on one-of-kind handcrafted pieces, every day. Apprenticing until becoming a Master Engraver, each expert carves by hand to an exacting standard—which the company is internationally recognized for.
The Face of America Magazine
“I want to o er more choice within our core range of engravable signet rings by providing a di erent shaped engravable canvas for our customer. These bold shield shapes enable our customers' designs to be hand engraved within that typically heraldic space” says Emmet Smith, Founder and Owner of Rebus. “There are three sizes of each shaped shield to choose from. The largest is one of the chunkiest signet rings we o er. It has a statement feel to it, very strong; the shank running around the nger is o center to the shield shape, giving the ring a subtle modern twist. These aren’t your traditional signet rings but still complement our core o ering.”

In addition to three new shapes, Rebus is also introducing engravable gemstone options for two of its classic signature styles—the stone set oval and cushion signet rings, as well as the full Era signet ring collection. Originally, only available in solid gold and platinum, there are now a variety of gemstone inlay options, including: bloodstone, carnelian, lapis lazuli, onyx, and sardonyx. O ering an additional mode of personalization, one can now engrave the stone with either script or roman capital font, a design of a customer’s choosing, or by referencing the Rebus image database. Classic stone set oval and cushion signet rings are available in either white or yellow gold, in 9K, 14K, and 18K options, and in three face sizes. Era signet rings are available in three designs (cushion, oval, diamond), and one size.

CANTINE ERMES Italian wines
The Face of America Magazine
Hailing from Sicily, Cantine Ermes represents one of the biggest wine companies in Southern Italy, a co-op that has regenerated a damaged territory into a fruitful and sustainable ground for winemaking. Cantine Ermes was founded in the heart of Sicily’s Belice Valley, an area infamously known for the 1968 earthquake that wiped out a vast surface of the island. Thirty years later, a group of nine young winemakers decided to embark on a path of reconstruction of the land taking advantage of everything it had to o er, forming what is today the biggest wine co-op in the region.

Cantine Ermes’ organic wine collection Vento di Mare includes both indigenous grapes, such as Grillo, Nero d’Avola and Nerello Mascalese, and international vines such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio. These wines come from vineyards cultivated in areas speci cally composed by clay, lime, and sandy soil. Wind is also key in the production of Vento di Mare, which translates into “wind from the sea,” being close to western coast of Sicily, the soil is indeed exposed to winds coming from south-east (Sirocco) and from the north (Tramontane).

CANTINE FLORIO Marsala Wine
The Face of America Magazine
Marsala, a forti ed wine from Sicily, is made of the island’s native white grape Grillo, which thrives near the coastline. The hot, dry, Mediterranean climate of the Marsala subregion provides the Grillo grapes with a high sugar concentration and rich acidity, along with great aging ability. Florio Marsala, the leading Marsala producer in Italy, is characterized by its fascinating history, dating back to the 1830s. Today, the brand has become unpredictably modern, adapting to the times and making it the perfect addition or substitution to classic cocktails.
fi
The Face of America Magazine
Time plays a vital role in winemaking. Respecting nature’s time-scales and investing patience in each wine’s own maturing rhythms are vital to the balance of the nal product. Whether it’s a white like Corvo Glicine, made to be drunk young, a deeply aged red like Duca Enrico or a Florio Marsala that is potentially eternal, the right time for every wine is ordained purely by the wine itself. The slow evolution in barrels inside the Marsala or Casteldaccia Cellars – and the necessary process of re nement in bottles before being put on the market – guarantee a product with an authentic and clearly de ned personality. For any Florio Marsala, in particular, time is a precious ingredient that endows new nuances and richness to wines that do not fear contact with oxygen or the passage of time.

The Face of America Magazine
Targa is an elegant, longlived marsala wine, inspiring when savoured in meditation or with dessert, and a revelation served cold as an aperitif paired with unexpected ingredients, such as avocado and blue cheese. Vini ed from a selection of Grillo grapes and aged for at least seven years in Slavonian oak barrels to develop a truly exceptional wine, warm and as smooth as velvet.

VINS DE PROVENCE
The Face of America Magazine
Provence’s natural beauty, traditions, and lifestyle have long been a source of inspiration for creatives around the world. Attracting many famous painters from Paul Cezanne to Pablo Picasso, and Vincent Van Gogh, Provence became a renowned global destination for art, architecture, and cultural heritage. Inspired by the same muse, winemakers grow iconic rose’ wines alongside artistic masterpieces. Although founded in agriculture, science, and wedded with the soil and the seasons, winemaking, as a form of art, allows the artist to express their terroir and apply their sense and sensibility from planting to harvest to bottle, capturing the beauty of Provence in a glass.

“When you walk in the Var hinterland you are transported by the smells of truffle, thyme, and rosemary. This is what we are trying to transcribe in the cuvée "Les Abeillons", of which Joel Robuchon and Alain Ducasse remain the greatest supporters. Finally, it is all the terroir that you find in our wines. The reds will express its power, the rosés its fragrances and the whites its natural elegance.” -Jean-Louis Croquet, Vigneron, Château Thierry – Coteaux Varois
