Market Report This week we sold 4,544 head of cattle of all classes in two sales. On Wednesday, September 16th we traded 382 head of Butcher & Feeding Cows, Bulls and Heiferettes. Calling the market for the day steady to $2.00 higher. The next day, Thursday September 17th we sold 4, 162 head for our Special Stocker & Feeder Sale. The sale had very good activity from buyers bidding on an outstanding showcase of quality. Compared to two weeks ago steers weighing 600 to 1050 lbs sold steady to $6.00 higher. Heifers weighing 600 to 1050 lbs sold steady to $5.00 higher. No test on bawling calves or lighter weight cattle.
