Compared to last week: Trade activity and demand were moderate. Feeder steers under 600 pounds traded 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Steers over 600 pounds traded steady to 7.50 lower. Feeder heifers under 600 pounds traded steady to 3.50 lower. Heifers weighing between 600 and 850 pounds were 2.50 to 3.50 higher and those over 850 were mostly steady. Slaughter cows traded steady to 3.00 higher and bulls were steady. Supply included: 92% Feeder Cattle (51% Steers, 49% Heifers); 5% Slaughter Cattle (81% Cows, 19% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (86% Stock Cows, 14% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65%.
