News From The Block
For our sale on the 30th we had a big run of weigh up cows with the bulk of the cows showing great condition and a good weigh up. The market was sure $3 to $4 higher on the big feeding type cows as well as the leaner type cows being higher as well. Bull market was steady to stronger on the high yielding bulls. We also had a nice run of feeder cattle that also sold on a steady market with most classes of heifers selling $2 to $4 higher. We continue to have good interest in these cattle coming off grass and the market looks to continue to stay strong. We are consigning calves every day for the fall run here at the barn and are looking for a great fall run. Next week here at BFLM on the 6th of August we will have a nice run of feeders as well as weigh up cows. Call anytime with any questions, our guys are in the country every day and we would be glad to talk to you about all your marketing needs. Have a good week and we will see you at the sale next week.
