I was the first up and coming business (3 months old) to supply them. At that time I didn’t know what it meant to create an invoice but here I was doing it.”

Flying the flag high for South African Haute-couture is Pietermaritzburg’s very own Nishai Sookdhew of the international brand - BlakListed. This 33 year old talent doesn't fall far from the tree. Growing up with two fashionably inclined parents, Nishai wasn’t short of the exposure to the industry. With her dad being a Quality Auditor for an international footwear brand Reebok who has recently retired and is currently her Business Manager, her mum, school teacher
