ASTON MARTIN VALIANT: THE CHAMPION OF PURE DRIVING PASSION
Aston Martin is proud to announce Valiant; an ultra-exclusive track-focused, road-legal special edition of extraordinary rarity, presence and potency and is the latest in a long line of extraordinary projects expertly handled by in-house bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin. Powered by a 745PS Twin Turbo 5.2-litre V12 mated to a six-speed manual transmission, Valiant embodies Aston Martin’s commitment to building pure driver’s cars. Production is strictly limited to just 38 cars globally with all fully allocated.
Valiant was originally conceived from a personal commission from Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team driver, Fernando Alonso for a lightweight, more extreme, race car inspired version of the spectacular, Aston Martin Valour. Following the commission and taking inspiration from Fernando’s 23-year career in Formula 1® and his passion for driving at the limit, Valiant was born, as a strictly limited-edition special that has been carefully designed and crafted by the experts in Aston Martin’s bespoke division: Q by Aston Martin. Aspiring to offer the ultimate in bespoke personalisation services, Q by Aston Martin delivers both carefully curated special editions such as Valiant and Valour, as well as the opportunity for individual owners to embark on the creation of utterly individual sports cars like Victor.
Valiant continues a strong lineage of Aston Martins that deliver true
driving intensity both on-road and on-track with the ultimate hypercar, Valkyrie, the brand’s most focused sports car, Vantage and its brother in speed, the Vantage GT3 race car and of course the upcoming mid-engine supercar, Valhalla. While both Valour and Valiant take inspiration from the brands iconic heritage in their design, they sit firmly in Aston Martin’s modern performance future delivering class leading power, driving dynamics and cutting-edge technology, ensuring Aston Martins appeal to true driving connoisseurs.
Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team driver said: “Valour was a spectacular celebration of Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary, and stirred me to create a more extreme, race car inspired version that was track focussed, while also delivering a thrilling drive on-road. Valiant is born from my passion for driving at the limit and I have enjoyed working closely with the Q by Aston Martin team on both the design and technical specification and believe we have created a masterpiece.”
On the Road
Combining the brutal style and blistering performance of a bygone evocative era of brutal V12 performance with state-of-the-art contemporary engineering, lightweight materials and spectacular design, Valiant pushes the boundaries of performance and engagement to evolve, intensify and reimagine the ultimate Aston Martin driver’s car. One born to thrive on the racetrack and thrill on the road.
Speaking of the new Valiant, Marco Mattiacci, Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer of Aston Martin said: “Valiant is a modern masterpiece. A creation of Q by Aston Martin, inspired by a racing legend and conceived using the latest F1® inspired technology, exotic materials and obsessive weight reduction. It focusses on placing the driver in a truly unique, intense and emotional driving experience. The ultimate blend of performance, track-focused dynamics and hypercar intensity, Valiant embodies Aston
Martin’s determined commitment to build rare and extraordinary cars for true drivers”.
As the new pinnacle of ferocious front-engined Aston Martin limited edition specials, Valiant has been developed to deliver its best on-track, while remaining fully homologated for road use. It boasts an exotic specification to delight the purist and excite the most demanding driver. Crowned by the combination of Aston Martin’s incredible twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine – which now develops 745PS and 753Nm of torque - and six-speed manual transmission, Valiant also features standard-fit Carbon Ceramic brakes measuring 410mm x 38mm front and 360mm x 32mm rear for immense fade-free stopping power.
Valiant features a number of unique engineering highlights to reduce weight and dial-in the chassis for serious track use. The adoption of a 3D-printed rear subframe saves 3kg with no reduction in stiffness, while a magnesium torque tube reduces mass at the centre point of the car by 8.6kg. Lightweight 21” magnesium wheels – with 275/35 front and 325/30 rear tyres - improve steering response and wheel control, reducing unsprung mass by 14kg. A motorsport-spec lithium-ion battery has been fitted to save a further 11.5kg.
The most influential change in the character of Valiant comes from the fitment of Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) dampers, capable of simultaneously adjusting each damper to one of thirty-two discreet damper curves in less than six milliseconds, the ASV system is truly state-of-the-art suspension technology that provides Aston Martin’s engineers with almost
limitless scope for tuning ride and handling characteristics. The dampers offer motorsport-level damping control and an operating control bandwidth previously exclusive to the highest echelons of motorsport. The Multimatic ASV dampers are only found fitted to the most dynamic, most exclusive vehicles available and are not available in the aftermarket.
To exploit the increased limits of the new suspension set-up and greater aerodynamic downforce, each of Valiant’s pre-set Driving Modes – Sport, Sport+ and Track – have been recalibrated to aid the driver in progressively exploring the car’s full performance. Connection, consistency and confidence are key attributes, the driver developing an intimate bond with the machine which allows them to take control of Valiant’s abundant performance and enjoy exploring its elevated capabilities to the full.
Simon Newton, Aston Martin’s Director of Vehicle Performance, said: “With Valiant we’ve shifted the emphasis towards much increased track capability while retaining enough useability to remain enjoyable on the road. We’ve moved the dial in every key area to extract greater performance and deliver more excitement; increased power delivery from the V12 to develop 745PS; perfecting the chassis setup with Multimatic ASV dampers; re-sculpting the body to produce more downforce; and employing lightweight materials and processes to reduce mass. Above all we have put the driver right at the heart of the action; honing control weights for maximum satisfaction; perfecting the shift action of the manual transmission; ensuring the increased handling limits remain accessible and rewarding. It all
combines to create an amazing experience Valiant owners won’t find in any other car”.
Aggressive, extreme and unambiguous, Valiant’s dramatic bodywork makes an explicit statement of intent. Through use of extensive lightweight carbon fibre, the evocative profile speaks of a truly heavyweight punch. Broad and muscular with sharply chiseled features shaped to generate stability enhancing downforce and minimize speed-sapping drag. Every inch of the Valiant’s immaculately sculpted form serves an aesthetic and aerodynamic function.
On the Road
Slicing through the air with maximum effectiveness, Valiant’s deep front splitter helps pin the nose to the tarmac, while distinctive multi-layer end planes guide and smooth airflow around the front wheels. Directly above the splitter a new full-width carbon fibre grille increases the flow of cooling air to the engine and reduces mass ahead of the front axle to help centralise weight distribution and improve handling.
Amongst Valiant’s most distinctive functional features are its heavily scalloped side fenders and carbon fibre aero discs fitted to the 21” Magnesium wheels. Working
in harmony with the front splitter end planes, the broad side sills and upswept vortex generators located ahead of the rear wheels smooth airflow along the flanks, reducing turbulence, drag and lift.
Inspired by wheel covers fitted to the legendary 1980 RHAM/1 ‘Muncher’ Le Mans racer and attached directly to the lightweight forged magnesium wheels, the aero discs reduce turbulence and drag created by the rotating wheels. In addition, six strategically placed inlets draw cooling air onto the carbon ceramic brakes to maintain optimum braking performance during track use, with apertures around
the circumference of the wheel allowing the extreme heat generated by the carbon ceramic discs to vent.
Valiant’s rear-end design is equally effective and dramatic, with the sharp Kamm tail and boldly upswept deck lid topped by a prominent fixed wing. Shaped to balance downforce gains made by the front splitter and styled to leave no doubt as to Valiant’s performance capabilities, it is one of many unmistakable design signatures. A fixed, one-piece clamshell rear, features a hinged rear screen panel, allowing access to a load space perfect for the storage of race helmets and race clothing.
Completing the aerodynamic package is the functional rear diffuser. Designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics to make positive reductions in drag and lift, the carbon fibre construction provides the added benefit of reducing mass at the rear. The diffuser also serves to perfectly frame Valiant’s spectacular quad exit, titanium exhaust system, which has been styled for maximum visual impact and tuned to celebrate the 745PS V12 engine’s incredible soundtrack.
Like its exterior, Valiant’s interior is a brilliant combination of racebred functionality and the immaculate design flourishes and mastery of materials for which Aston Martin is renowned. The strictly two-seat cockpit is packed with drama and purpose. Extensive use of exposed satin-finish carbon fibre underpin Valiant’s focus on lightweight materials, while strategic placement of seat padding and finely-tailored, lightweight upholstery add targeted comfort, luxury and tactility.
Particular attention is paid to points of contact between driver and
machine. This begins with a new steering wheel. Unique to Valiant and designed to reflect the purity and connection found throughout the car, it is perfectly round with a slimmer-diameter rim and spokes devoid of switches for intuitive feel and zero distractions.
To highlight the mechanical nature of the manual gearbox, a cutaway in the transmission tunnel exposes the gear linkage running rearward to the six-speed transaxle. Development has focused on perfecting the weight and feel of the gearshift, with a new bespoke spherical gear knob and H-pattern shifting maximizing gearshift effort and precision.
With Valiant being designed with focused track-use in mind, driver comfort and safety are paramount.
To this end Valiant features a builtin half-cage as-standard together with bespoke trimmed Recaro Podium seats. The steel half-cage provides the anchor point to allow 4-point race harnesses to be fitted to the car. Recaro Podium seats provide exceptional lateral and shoulder support, with innovative pads featuring passive thorax ventilation for increased comfort during extreme driving.
Available with a choice of Alcantara or semi-aniline leather cabin trim, Valiant continues its focused approach with lightweight materials, ‘debossed’ Alcantara seat quilting and tactile Alcantara steering wheel for maximum control. The bespoke
On the Road
door panels feature a sculpted design with mesh insert panels to reduce weight, along with lightweight fabric door release pulls.
Describing Valiant’s aggressive look, Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer, said: “Valiant is an extrovert. One look leaves you in no doubt of its intentions. A true thoroughbred aimed at being enjoyed to the full on a racetrack,
yet still useable on the road, it takes clear inspiration from motorsport, expressing its character through dramatic, muscular form and a plethora of beautiful, functional details. Amongst these are aero disc wheel covers, which are a nod to the mighty ‘Muncher’ Le Mans car, and a quartet of large diameter titanium exhaust pipes which honour the internal combustion and celebrate the soundtrack of Aston Martin’s magnificent V12”.
While first deliveries are due to commence in Q4 2024, Valiant will make its public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 11-14) with dynamic demonstrations on the famous Hill Climb course. One of the demonstration runs will be in the hands of Valiant’s first customer; two-time Formula One® World Champion and Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team driver, Fernando Alonso.
“Speed with silence, the absence of vibration, the mysterious harnessing of great energy, and a beautiful living organism of superb grace.”

Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
For more than a century, the Spirit of Ecstasy has symbolised elegance and human achievement, inspiring countless works of art, from music to photography and moving image. In 2024, the year the marque celebrates its 120th anniversary, RollsRoyce Motor Cars pays homage to its timeless muse in a unique Private Collection, named Phantom Scintilla. Limited to just ten examples worldwide, this magnificent collection celebrates the ethereal beauty, grace and legacy of the Spirit of Ecstasy.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Scintilla’s design evokes the wonder of the Spirit of Ecstasy’s fleeting presence: its exquisite interior features were inspired by the apparent movement of her robes, as the motor car glides by.
Graceful Bespoke embroidery flowing throughout the interior captures the Spirit of Ecstasy’s elegant dynamism, culminating in a complex Gallery artwork. Carefully curated design features allude to the figurine’s origins with their references to Parian Marble: it was in this famed material that, more than 2,000 years ago, an unknown genius of Classical Greece sculpted The Winged Victory of Samothrace, the statue that inspired Claude Johnson’s original idea for a Rolls Royce mascot.
On the Road
Phantom Scintilla derives its name from the Latin word for ‘spark’ – a bright flash, witnessed only for an instant. This refers to Claude Johnson’s first flash of inspiration for a mascot, the aforementioned Greek statue, and captures the Spirit of Ecstasy’s ethereal grace – something glimpsed only for a moment as the motor car passes by, but which leaves a lasting impression.
A NEW CHAPTER TO AN OLD STORY
In 1910, Rolls-Royce Managing Director Claude Johnson commissioned sculptor and illustrator Charles Sykes to create a Rolls-Royce mascot. Johnson already had an inspiration in mind: on a trip to Paris, he had visited the Louvre and been
On the Road
greatly impressed by the Greek marble statue of a deity descending from the heavens - The Winged Victory of Samothrace, which dates from 190 BCE.
Sykes, however, felt the statue was too domineering to be a suitable subject. Having often travelled in Silver Ghosts, he believed a more delicate, ethereal figure would better express the marque’s grace, silence and subtle power. It is now generally accepted that he took his inspiration for what would become the Spirit of Ecstasy from Eleanor Thornton, Lord Montagu’s secretary and paramour. In creating Phantom Scintilla, the Bespoke Collective has reclaimed some of Johnson’s original inspiration, by introducing new materials and
subtle references to the captivating vision of The Winged Victory of Samothrace.
MATERIAL MAGIC
The famed statue is sculpted in Parian marble, a fine-grained white marble quarried during the classical era on the Greek island of Paros. Known for its purity and radiance, this material allows light to penetrate to a depth of several centimetres, giving it a lustre that appears to come from within. For Phantom Scintilla, the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine has been given a ceramic finish that skilfully alludes to the texture of Parian marble, while retaining its familiar femininity and ethereality – a Rolls-Royce icon that finally unites the visions of both Johnson and Sykes.
“We were fascinated with the qualities of Parian marble, and this material became the subject of our research for many months. To create a clear and elegant connection to the famed statue, we developed a ceramic finish that captures the translucence and purity of this unique stone, and perfectly embraces the ethereal nature of our icon”.
Celina Mettang, Bespoke Colour and Material Designer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
EXTERIOR: GREEK INSPIRATION
Phantom Scintilla’s exterior is presented in a twotone Bespoke finish. The upper body is in Andalusian White, with the lower body in Thracian Blue, inspired by the colours of
the sea around the island of Samothrace, whence the statue of The Winged Victory of Samothrace originates. A subtle metallic flake mimics the sparkle of sunlight on the water. The hand-painted double Coachline and Wheel Pinstripes in Spirit Blue complete the graceful exterior.
INTERIOR: EXPRESSIVE MOVEMENT
The interior is filled with design elements, textures and a continuous graphic inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy’s expressive, dynamic
form – the result of an intense collaboration between Bespoke designers and artisans. The graphic moves through the cabin, embracing the occupants in an uninterrupted flow of energy.
“We wanted to create a single graphic that almost appears as a watercolour artwork – we call it ‘painting with thread’. To create a luminescent effect, we used four different colours, thread thicknesses and stitch orientations. In doing so, we covered areas never explored in a Rolls-Royce before,
On the Road
achieving the most extensive density of embroidery ever seen in a Rolls-Royce motor car.”
Katrin Lehmann, Bespoke Colour and Material Designer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
The lead artisan tasked with bringing this idea to life, Brienny Dudley, experimented with a variety of stitches and hues before selecting the tatami stitch, which was applied over six layers, interlacing in varying degrees of density and complexity. The full interior composition comprises 869,500 stitches and takes over 40 hours to complete.
“Translating this design into a three-dimensional form was a wonderful creative challenge, requiring more than two and a half years of close collaboration with our Bespoke design team to achieve the right level of detail, texture and tactility in the embroidery. Having two canvases – leather and fabric – added another level of complexity, as these materials respond to stitching in different ways. 36 individually embroidered panels had to be carefully curated so that they aligned perfectly, creating a seamless, flowing motif through the interior suite.”
Brienny Dudley, Bespoke Craft Specialist, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
The embroidered motif on the doors – the most complex door design ever seen on a Rolls-Royce – is made of 633,000 stitches combining Blue Grey, Arctic White, Spirit Blue, Powder Blue and Pastel Yellow thread, complemented by illuminated perforations. By night, the embroidery takes on a mesmerising, luminescent sparkle and appears to glow from within. The seats are upholstered in a twill fabric with a subtle reflective sheen, providing an additional complexity to the material interplay within the interior. 236,500 stitches applied in Blue Grey, Arctic White and Spirit Blue thread continue the complex graphic spanning across the four doors.
‘CELESTIAL PULSE’ GALLERY ARTWORK
The centrepiece of Phantom Scintilla is a Bespoke artwork in the Gallery which runs the full width of the front fascia. Entitled Celestial Pulse, the work consists of seven ribbons, each individually milled from solid aluminium, before being adorned with the same finely-grained ceramic finish as the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. The edges are polished to a mirror shine so that they catch the light, creating a sense of movement and fluidity.
Claude Johnson’s original brief for a Rolls-Royce
mascot is displayed on an embossed plate concealed in the glove compartment. These words, written in 1910, wonderfully capture the essence of the Phantom Scintilla Private Collection: ‘Speed with silence, the absence of vibration, the mysterious harnessing of great energy, and a beautiful living organism of superb grace’.
‘FLEETING MOMENT’ STARLIGHT HEADLINER
Phantom Scintilla’s Bespoke Starlight Headliner features an animation inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy’s flowing gown. 1,500 fibre-optic ‘stars’, all placed and fitted by hand in a unique pattern, illuminate in sequence, adding to the sense of motion. The design is completed with a further 4,450 perforations deliberately made larger than usual to reveal glimpses of a metallic silver fabric beneath, creating a subtle interplay of light.
GRACEFUL DETAILS
The sense of movement continues on the rear picnic tables, with a delicate graphic capturing the Spirit of Ecstasy’s fluidity of motion. The motif is applied with the masking technique on top of the glossy iridescent surface, then hand-sanded and coated with a matte finish, creating the illusion of two subtle, shifting colours. The full wood set is
rendered in Arctic White and finished with a lacquer mixed with iridescent metallic particles. To achieve the effect, craftspeople apply up to 19 coats of lacquer – a process that takes more than 190 hours per motor car.
The Private Collection name is engraved on the polished stainless-steel treadplates. As a finishing touch, each commission is supplied with a Bespoke car cover.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Scintilla Private Collection is available exclusively through the marque’s international Private Office network.
BOUCHERON CELEBRATES ITS HIGH JEWELRY ICON, THE QUESTION MARK NECKLACE
In 1879, Frédéric Boucheron invented a necklace that revolutionized High Jewelry. At a time when women’s bodies were still being confined by jewelry and garments, Boucheron gave them the freedom to put on this clasp-free necklace, without assistance – a piece that could be slipped around the neck in a simple movement. This creation became the symbol of High Jewelry that was well ahead of its time. The asymmetrical shape, unusual for that period, led it to be named the Point d’Interrogation: the Question Mark necklace. More than 140 years after its creation, it remains one of the symbols of the Boucheron style. This year, the Maison pays tribute to this icon with reinterpretations that write a new chapter in the Question Mark’s story.
THE ORIGINS OF THE QUESTION MARK
The first sketch of the Question Mark necklace is preserved in the Boucheron archives and dates back to 1879. From the very outset, it established an entirely new style, with its simple choker and elaborate suspended motif. This High Jewelry creation was innovative in both design and know-how. As the first clasp-free necklace, its hidden spring blade provided a flexibility and freedom of movement that was unprecedented at the time, a suppleness created by an assemblage of many small parts. This subtle mechanism, developed exclusively in the Boucheron workshops, was and remains nearly invisible, a mark of exceptional craftsmanship.
The Question Mark necklace was one of the Boucheron pieces awarded the Grand Prix at the 1889 Exposition Universelle in Paris. Originally, only around thirty were crafted by the Maison’s workshops and the design swiftly drew an international clientele, from the
Russian imperial family to America’s major industrial dynasties.
A NEW REVERSIBLE QUESTION MARK NECKLACE
This year, the Creation Studio has come up with an even more imaginative design for the Question Mark: the reversible necklace. The idea comes from Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, the Maison’s CEO, as a way to take the innovative vision of Frédéric Boucheron into the future. It was indeed a challenge for the workshop, but, after several years of development, the artisans managed to create a tailor-made system making the necklace reversible in one simple movement. The clean lines of these new reversible necklaces are inspired by an 1884 model from the archives: a special order made for American businessman Cornelius Vanderbilt.
Boucheron now crafts this necklace in three color variations: the blazing red of rubellites, the intense
green of tourmalines, and the deep blue of tanzanites. On the front of the necklace, the stones are carefully matched, their vibrant hues further enhanced by metallic foil. On the piece’s back, the custom-cut rock crystal gleams and glitters, with the added sparkle of pavé diamonds. The Boucheron know-how is also evident in the choker, paved with diamonds on both sides and even diamond-set on the edge.
NEW INTERPRETATIONS OF THE QUESTION MARK NECKLACE
In July 2024, the Maison unveils a new campaign showcasing the newest Question Mark designs that echo necklaces from the archives, creations that continue to inspire the Boucheron Studio.
It all began with ivy. In 1879, when Frédéric Boucheron asked French painter Paul Legrand to produce the first drawing of the Question Mark, the artist depicted a long strand of ivy. Two years later, in 1881, this sketch gave birth to the first model of the iconic necklace. So much did the founder adore this motif that the Boucheron workshops created six copies between 1881 and 1889. By choosing to recreate this creeping perennial vine that graced the arcades of the Palais Royal –where Frédéric Boucheron’s opened his first boutique –, rather than relying on the usual flora favored by other jewelers, Boucheron offered a bold and singular vision of nature. Nature in all its freedom, abundance, and glory. The artisans worked meticulously on this necklace to make the ivy as realistic as possible. They did this through the green hues of the emeralds, the rhodium-plated gold, and especially the ancient trembleur technique – already in use on 19th-century creations – that brought each leaf to life with the wearer’s every movement.
The Plume de Paon – peacock feather – first appeared in the 1860s in head jewelry and brooches and has since become an historic motif for the jeweler. Frédéric Boucheron chose this natural pattern to make two Question Mark necklaces in 1882 and 1883, the second of which was purchased by Grand Duke Alexei of Russia. The Maison developed unique know-how to faithfully depict all the delicacy of a real peacock feather.
An articulated system gave the various parts of the Plume the ability to move, until each strand was independent and free as a bird. These details, all individually handcrafted, mimic the suppleness and imperfect
beauty of a feather. The Creative Studio, remaining true to this traditional know-how, now reinvents the Plume de Paon in this vibrant blue shade, reflecting the color of the sapphire set as the center stone.
The movement of this Question Mark necklace was inspired by a necklace the Maison designed in 1886 with an olive-leaf motif. Resembling bunches of hanging fruit, Mozambique rubies are delicately set on the necklace. The Maison’s artisans used different setting techniques to bring the vegetation to life – cut-down, net, pavé, grain, and even snow settings – so as to imitate every detail of the leaves. Each being crafted by hand, unaided by any machine, a single leaf demands no fewer than 30 hours of labor. Openwork designs on the leaf backs bring out the shine of the stones and make the overall piece aesthetically lighter. In order to faithfully reproduce the plant’s natural movement, the artisans built three joints into this necklace around the principal branch, so that the piece can delicately adapt the person choosing to wear it.
Here, the Creative Studio pays homage to the laurel motif with a Question Mark inspired by a necklace from the archives, dating from the 1880s. This new model has an ingenious clasp system that gives it remarkable transformative capacity, becoming a necklace – either long or short –, a brooch, or even hair jewelry. This necklace, created through the most refined jewelry work, is a true ode to nature as interpreted by Boucheron. The artisans used the fil-couteau technique, fine filaments of gold forming a discreet structure, giving the entire piece an air of near-weightlessness. Each leaf is handcrafted from metal with what is known as “flame” openwork to enhance the brilliance of the mesh-set diamonds. Lastly, rubellites dangle from the leaves, like ripe fruit ready to be picked.
This Question Mark Eternity necklace is a work of curved lines and simplicity. Nevertheless, like all Question Mark necklaces, it shelters hidden marvels of ingenuity. The central stone can be detached, resulting in a more streamlined choker. Multiwear has long been a recurring theme in the history of the Question Mark necklace.

The Trendsetter
DR. RAMZI ADDAS INTERVIEW
Dr. Addas, let’s start with your passion for polo. What inspired you to take up polo, and how did you develop your skills in this sport?
My passion for Polo goes back to the year 2000 when I was watching the summer Olympic games In Sydney and in particular the showjumping competition. I was amazed and inspired by the glorious victory of the Saudi rider Khaled Al-Eid winning a bronze medal in such a highly competitive sport over the best riders of the world. That was one of the first medals that we earned in such an international event.
From the next day I started searching for a place where I can ride and start practicing this sport (there were not many choices available like it is today). I found a proper equestrian center. Since that time nothing could keep me away from horses and equestrian.
During these years I developed my skills in different equestrian sports and I used to train in a very committed way and on regular basis. As for polo in particular I started it during my fellowship training years in Canada as the barn that I ride in was a polo ranch and I was lucky to have such an opportunity of being able to join the polo team in that lovely ranch having a beautiful polo field and magnificent horses.
Being a dedicated polo player since 2000, can you share some of your most memorable experiences on the field?
In regard to memorable experience they are may but if I choose to mention a couple unforgettable incidents that I consider precious moments for me I would say they are: The first was my first participation with The Saudi Polo federation, during the first polo camp in Dubai in 2019. A year before, I was present in a showjumping competition in Riyadh after I had returned from my scholarship and practicing this sport abroad between France and Canada. At that time, I was unsuccessfully searching for polo players in Saudi to join with no success. In that competition I spotted a small booth with a sign written on it Saudi Polo Federation, I approached it and I met a welcoming gentleman named Mr. Faisal bin Dowees (the CEO of the Saudi Polo federation) we chatted and exchange contacts. Few months later I joined them travelling with group of Saudi players to our first camp. We spent a week with extensive training program including all sorts of training with highly professional levels and that was the start of my journey and experience with the the Saudi Polo federation.
Another unforgettable experience was Alula polo competition. I have been to a lot of polo tournament all over the globe but I can say with confidence that for me and for many others who attended this event that it is one of the best life moments playing polo in this culturally significant place that has rich history, cultural importance and magnificence views.
As a member of the Saudi Polo Federation, what do you see as the future of polo in Saudi Arabia, and how do you envision contributing to its growth?
As a member of the federation and someone who witnessed its birth and fast growth I have no doubt that this sport has a brightening future under the Saudi Polo federation. So far, it is exceeding many other polo federations worldwide that have been there for longer times. What had been achieved in the last few years is remarkable taking into account the short time and the numerous challenges they encountered (for example the pandemic was one of the major challenges that confronted the
The Trendsetter
federation in its early days in a time they had to postpone a lot of plans that they had because of the pandemic). But thanks to the unlimited governmental support and the commitment of the colleagues in the federation we were able to overcome these obstacles and put the name of the Saudi polo in a prestigious place internationally. The Federation is investing in the polo facilities managing high quality fields, establishing more academies with professional training programs, and
increasing the awareness about the sport. Last but not least hosting international events such as Polo Alula where you can see the best polo players and teams in the world playing here in Saudi, that is a great achievement.

Balancing Dual Passions
How do you balance the demanding career of a thoracic surgeon with your dedication to horse riding and polo?
Balancing between these two demanding domains is based on an effective time management plan, putting priorities and having a balanced distribution amongst these priorities, family and lifestyle. It is not an easy equation as it might appear but it is definitely achievable by having daily, weekly and monthly goals and clear plans to achieve them and stick to them as much as possible. I always try to plan my vacations around important equestrian and polo competitions to make sure I can participate without professional conflict between my various responsibilities.
What advice would you give to young medical professionals who aspire to achieve a balance between their careers and personal passions?
Balancing between the medical profession which is demanding and other passions is not an easy task but it is highly rewarding. It is based on four corners. First, you need to have an efficient time management with clear priorities and plans. Second, you should focus on having a work and life demands balance avoiding overlapping of one over the other so that you don’t let work to overtake your family and personal life requirements all the time or vice versa. Third, have a selfcare and well being routine for both physical and mental health. Last but not least set realistic goals and keep working on your personal development by continuous learning and skill enhancement especially in our times were the developments and updates in all domains and in medicine in particular is faster that anytime before.
Looking Forward
What are your future goals in both your medical career and your involvement in polo?
In my professional career I am working mainly on three aspects. First of all, in a medical field that is evolving in a high speed I am always working on advancing my surgical techniques particularly in the robotic technology in surgery. I am proud that we are one of the first thoracic departments in the western region that starts thoracic robotic operations and will continue to take the lead with cooperation with our Thoracic colleagues in surrounded hospitals.
Secondly, we will continue in our clinical research and innovation in healthcare to contribute in the development of new surgical techniques and treatments especially with the unlimited governmental support. Thirdly, I want to continue the leadership and mentorship roles equipped with experience and knowledge obtained from
his highness prince Mohammad bin Salman college.
For polo, my aim is to continue skill development by advancing my training as well as participating in competitions making sure to be present as much as I can whenever and wherever the Saudi polo needs my participation in order to keep the high level for the game. In addition to that I will continue to put my efforts in building the polo community and develop the sport in all regions of our kingdom.
Finally, is there a particular message or philosophy that you live by and would like to share with our readers?
As a surgeon dealing daily with patients suffering from cancers and deadly diseases, I realize that each day in our live is a gift especially if we are blessed with health, so my general advice is to be thankful to this present by providing the best for yourself and the surrounding society each day and enjoy what you are doing to be able to reach the place that you want because the day that is gone will never be replaced.
Another massage for the younger surgeons is to always prioritize the wellbeing of your patients, respect them and show them empathy and always remember the say that helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.
INTERVIEW WITH HAYA AWAD
Haya Awad is a Jordanian international fashion and lifestyle icon, redefining the modern Arab working mother. She is known for founding and designing the successful brand Fashion Attack. As a brand ambassador and businesswoman, she serves as a bridge between clients and brands. Her journey has been exciting and rewarding, driven by love, passion, and dedication, which she considers the pillars of her success.
Haya lives by the sacred motto:
“Live a life you are proud of, love as much as you can, and laugh as hard as you can.”
What initially inspired you to pursue a career in fashion and lifestyle, and how did your background in drama, graphic design, marketing, and economics influence your approach to fashion design?
I have always had great admiration for good craftsmanship. Everything that is beautifully and skillfully done catches my eye. I also have an eye for detail and a passion for mixing and matching to come up with creative new options, which fascinates me. Since fashion incorporates all types of art, studying graphic design and an MBA pulled together my academic experience and passion. Hence, my focus on photography, graphic design, and the world of colors, mixing, and matching helped shape my passion into the world of business.
Can you share the story behind the founding of Fashion Attack? What were some of the challenges and triumphs you encountered in the early days?
With the rise of social media platforms in 2012/13, I realized that I could take my passion and growing business, Fashion Attack, not only locally but internationally as well. I saw the great potential of social media platforms to build my brand and do something great.
I noticed a gap at the time in Arabic designs infused with international themes, so I was encouraged to create my own logo (being a graphic designer) and special T-shirt designs and Abayas. I was one of the first to start trends back then. All my skills in media, photography, and graphic design came together to help me launch Fashion Attack.
The achievements were that it was a unique product, and it was received with a lot of enthusiasm online, garnering attention and acceptance at the time. The challenges were that it was a one-woman show, and I was learning the industry as I went along. What made things easier was social media, which allowed me, in less than six months, to sell Fashion Attack products in seven Arab countries around the world in class A boutiques.
As a brand ambassador, how do you effectively bridge the gap between clients and brands? Can you share any memorable collaborations or campaigns you’ve been a part of?
Through my personal experience with any product, I can deliver the best image of that product to the end user in a way the client is not able to, because it’s through my personality and experience. That way, I act as a bridge between the product and the client.
Memorable collaboration: I was approached by my previous graphic design company, which wanted to hire me as a consultant on a big jewelry campaign they were working on. At the time, I was happy with the milestone. I had worked hard to improve my abilities and portfolio, and thus I was rewarded with a prestigious collaboration with the roles reversed.
How do you manage to balance your roles as a fashion icon, businesswoman, and mother? What advice do you have for other working mothers striving to achieve a similar balance?
I like to create a balance between my self-care, attention to my marriage and son, and my work in fashion. I think all of these make me who I am, and therefore, they are very important, and I enjoy them.
You mention that love, passion, and dedication are the pillars of your success. Can you elaborate on how each of these values has contributed to your journey and achievements?
We cannot live without love; it is everywhere. The drive is usually passion, and dedication completes what I like to think is a successful formula for success.
Over your 18 years of experience, how have you seen the fashion and lifestyle industry evolve in the Middle East? What trends do you think will shape the future of fashion in the region?
Fashion has evolved and improved a lot. It has moved from creative designs solely for wearing beautiful clothes to serving a bigger cause. We now see examples of the giving movement, vegan-free fashion, and saving animals movements. There are more talents, and they have their causes that they promote and work for. The trend will be more awareness and purpose. The story behind the piece is what is important now—the story behind the clothes and designs is the trend.
How has your Master’s degree in marketing and economics influenced your business strategies for Fashion Attack? What unique approaches do you employ to market your brand effectively?
My experience and knowledge of marketing helped me turn my passion into a corporate venture. My MBA
helped shape the passion and direct it to become more professional, as I knew my tools well and knew how to use them.
Your blog provided a platform for voicing your thoughts on style and new products. How has blogging influenced your career, and how do you see the role of digital platforms in the fashion industry today
In my line of work, you are essentially reflecting a personal experience—your own. For example, when I did my designs and fashion or my daily tips and lifestyle posts, people got to know me on a closer level. Trust was created, and through the very important social media platforms, one is better able to deliver their touch and voice to the world. Before, designers competed to get recognition from certain media platforms, such as magazines and other news outlets. They used to determine and control if you would get your chance to be known or not. Therefore, I always say, “You Are Your Own Brand!” It is my motto.
What are your future goals for Fashion Attack and your personal brand? Are there any new projects or collaborations that you are particularly excited about?
I always have plans to improve my collaborations locally and internationally. I am open to new possibilities and experiences, such as acting and singing. However, my main goal is to improve my personal brand.
What advice would you give to young, aspiring fashion designers and entrepreneurs looking to make their mark in the industry?
My advice to the young generation is to think outside the box, be creative, do extensive research, and ensure what you come up with is unique. Do not be a copycat; think internationally, not just locally.
Your motto, “live a life you are proud of, love as much as you can, and laugh as hard as you can,” is very inspiring. How do you incorporate this philosophy into your daily life and work?
Live a life full of love: In my work and my posts, I reflect a way of life that is colorful and full of life. That’s
how I see things. I choose to see the beautiful side of everything, not the dark side, and it shows in my positive energy, tone, and posts.
Can you share one of the most memorable moments or milestones in your career that has had a significant impact on you?
Memorable moment: I am super proud of where I am now as an influencer with a large base of followers who trust me and are impacted by my experiences and choices. This led me to be invited to attend amazing events such as the Cannes Film Festival and be chosen as the MC for the Prize of Arabia London Awards event, surrounded by successful women.
Who are some of the individuals that you look up to within the fashion industry or beyond, and why do they inspire you?
Positive, determined, successful women role models fascinate me, whether in the fashion industry or otherwise. These women’s experiences inspire and energize me to do more. I admire those who built a business out of their brand, creating an empire with their hard work.
How do you incorporate elements of your Jordanian heritage into your designs, and how important is it for you to represent your culture in your work?
One of the first key things I did with my early designs was incorporate traditional elements from our culture into the designs. This reflects our Arab Jordanian identity. I made sure to add elements such as kohl for the eyes and the Hatta.
I love to reflect my culture and identity through my pieces and designs. Additionally, in my photoshoots, I portrayed the Jordanian landscape wherever possible to show the beauty of the Sahara. I believe this helps people connect across different languages, creating ways to connect on all levels artistically and as communities.
KAYANEE CEO VIKRAM NATARAJAN INTERVIEW
Can you share a bit about your journey and how you came to lead Kayanee as its CEO?
I spent the last decade of my career in the wellness, lifestyle, luxury, and hospitality spaces, managing businesses across Southeast Asia, China, and the Middle East. It was the opportunity to lead Kayanee that eventually brought me from Singapore to Saudi Arabia. I was immediately drawn here by the vision behind it, and it felt natural to get caught up in the excitement of launching and executing a new and groundbreaking concept in the Kingdom that can positively impact the lives of so many people here.
What inspired the creation of Kayanee, and how does it align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030?
Kayanee, a portfolio company of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), is an integral part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes fostering a healthier and more active society. Under the visionary leadership of our Chairperson, HRH Princess Reema Bint Bandar, Kayanee is dedicated to transforming women’s wellness. This comprehensive initiative encompasses dance fitness, apparel, personal care products, supplements, healthy eating, and community education.
Kayanee is aligned with PIF’s strategy to discover the capabilities of promising sectors, localize technology and knowledge, and drive the diversification of the local economy, contributing to enhancing the quality of life. Our mission is to inspire and enhance women’s well-being, making us a key player in achieving the vision of a vibrant society. With both physical stores
and online offerings, we’re working to bring her vision to life and be the best in class in redefining women’s wellness.
Kayanee merges fitness, fashion, nutrition, personal care, healthy eating, and learning. Can you explain how these elements work together to create a unique customer experience?
I believe that fitness and wellness go far beyond merely working out or exercising at the gym. For us at Kayanee, it means to feel better, move more, eat better, be more confident, and make better choices consistently. Kayanee aims to deliver this to our customers, integrating fitness, fashion, nutrition, personal care, healthy eating, and learning into a seamless customer experience. We have multiple touchpoints where women can engage with us all week, whether it’s to dance, hang out with friends, enjoy a functional ingredient smoothie, or even shop for our fashionable tech abayas made with the best fabrics and latest technology. This holistic perspective reinforces our belief in the power of movement through exploration and connection, inspiring and enabling balanced fitness for women. We encourage our community to pursue their well-being first and foremost, guiding them on a personal journey to discover what moves them physically, emotionally, and mentally. It’s all geared toward fostering a supportive and engaging community for every woman, which is incredibly important to us.
From a fashion perspective, we really listened to our customers through extensive customer research and used advanced body scanning to create clothes that fit perfectly and move with you, wherever whenever. We found that Saudi women were often frustrated with garments designed for Western or Asian body types, which didn’t fit well or were uncomfortable. So, we made it our mission to cater to their unique needs with inclusive style and quality. Our goal is to provide clothing that’s comfortable, boosts confidence, and allows for freedom of movement – so women can feel beautiful and enjoy staying active.
What challenges did you face in the design and development of Kayanee, and how did you overcome them?
Kayanee is a completely new concept not just in the region but globally, which made it challenging to find any existing benchmarks. While some counterparts had individual areas, no one has integrated all these
elements together into a comprehensive movement like we have. It was very important that we assembled the right team with the right expertise to successfully develop a concept that doesn’t really exist anywhere else. So far, we’ve overcome many of the challenges we’ve faced by innovating our offering, being flexible, and maintaining a clear vision.
With the flagship location opening in Riyadh, what are your regional and international expansion plans?
Our immediate focus is on expanding our physical presence within the Kingdom, starting with our flagship location in Riyadh. As we continue to grow, we plan to expand into the GCC, Europe, and the US. We believe Kayanee is a world-class international concept with global potential. Our aim is to take Kayanee from Saudi Arabia to the world, but we
are concentrating on establishing a strong foundation in Saudi Arabia before moving into international markets.
How will Kayanee’s e-commerce website and digital application enhance customer engagement and accessibility?
Today, customers interact with brands across both physical and digital channels, whether at home, traveling, or anywhere else. At Kayanee, we aim to be an integral part of our customers’ lives, helping them make consistently better choices. That’s one of the main reasons why our e-commerce website and digital application are so important. They’re optimally designed to enhance access for our community, as a way of helping us make their lifestyles in health and well-being easier.
How does Kayanee position entertainment as a motivator for fitness and well-being?
There’s nothing more enjoyable than getting fitter while dancing! Our idea was to help women move more, but in a more engaging way – rather than just using a treadmill, which let’s face it, isn’t the most enjoyable experience. So, we partnered with ZUMBA to create world-class dance routines that use Middle Eastern music, rhythms, and dance moves to really make movement fun. You can see the fun, the energy, and the impact that it’s having on our customers when they come out of a packed dance class and hear them talk about how great it was when they hang out for a smoothie or a collagen coffee. It feels very rewarding and makes all the efforts worthwhile.
What are your long-term goals for Kayanee within Saudi Arabia and internationally?
Our long-term goals include expanding into and across various cities within Saudi Arabia, before exporting our brand into the GCC, the UK, and the US. As part of Vision 2030, we have an ambitious vision to build our brand to become a movement that helps and inspires women around the world to achieve true health and well-being.
Do you have any advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially women, looking to make an impact in the luxury and wellness industries?
Having worked in large corporations, small startups, and now leading a startup under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), there is nothing more fulfilling than creating something from scratch and seeing it take shape and come to life. As living standards rise, wellness and luxury have become increasingly important, presenting numerous opportunities as the population spends more on themselves and their physical and mental well-being. My advice to aspiring entrepreneurs, especially women, is to seize these opportunities when they come about and not be afraid to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys. Love what you do, work diligently towards your ambitions, surround yourselves with people that inspire you and that you can learn from, and keep your vision clear and simple. If we inspire women to start their own ventures, we can create a positive impact on society and the wellness industry, which is an amazing outcome for us.
MICHAEL GAVRIELI INTERVIEW
Michael Gavrieli’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming a top-selling artist is nothing short of inspirational. A self-taught European artist, Michael has mastered the ancient “encaustic technique” to create unique and luxurious 24-karat gold artworks. His 24-Karat Gold Billionaire Edition is a masterpiece in the world of art, combining rare techniques with precious materials to produce unparalleled luxury pieces. As he now sets his sights on the Saudi Arabian market, Michael’s visionary approach and relentless passion continue to push the boundaries of what art can achieve.
Thank you for the incredible opportunity to share my passion and story with the esteemed audience of Luxury Network Magazine. I believe they will truly appreciate the unparalleled experience that my artworks offer—each piece is a journey into a world of rich cultural expression and powerfull energy of 24 karat gold. Meeting Abdulah and his wonderful wife over our four-hour dinner was a truly special experience. We connected on a deep level, and our time together was filled with vibrant energy and meaningful conversations about our life stories. It was a profound exchange that has set the stage for a partnership to bring something truly unprecedented to Saudi Arabia—24 karat gold art that the world has never seen, limited by production and is imposible to copy.
Your journey to becoming a successful artist is truly remarkable. How did your early life experiences shape your artistic vision?
My early life experiences were far from the world of art, but they played a crucial role in shaping my artistic vision. Growing up in a humble environment, I didn’t have access to galleries or cultural influences. However, that all changed when I moved to Prague and met an art collector who introduced me to his collection of 300 masterpieces. That moment was transformative, sparking a deep passion within me to create something truly unique. It inspired me to dream of creating art that the world has never seen—art
that combines my personal journey with the luxury of 24-karat gold, resulting in pieces that are both timeless and extraordinary.
What inspired you to adopt the ancient encaustic technique in your work, and how do you combine it with modern luxury elements like 24-karat gold?
The inspiration to embrace the ancient encaustic technique began with a suggestion from my wife, who discovered it online as a form of therapy. Intrigued by her enthusiasm, I decided to try it and was immediately enchanted by the process. The encaustic method, with its roots tracing back to the Pharaohs of Egypt, offered a profound connection to ancient craftsmanship that deeply resonated with me. As I delved into this technique, I found a new passion for incorporating precious materials, especially 24-karat gold. The luxurious, radiant quality of gold seamlessly complements the rich textures of encaustic art. By blending these elements, I create pieces that bridge historical elegance with contemporary sophistication, resulting in artworks that are not only timeless but also uniquely luxurious.
The 24-Karat Gold Billionaire Edition is one of your most exclusive offerings. Can you share the creative process behind these unique pieces?
The 24-Karat Gold Billionaire Edition holds a special place in my heart because it represents the

culmination of my artistic vision, self-belief, and deep passion for working with 24-karat gold. When I set out to create these pieces, I wanted to craft something that was not just a work of art, but a symbol of wealth and iconic status in the form of jewels on the wall.
You’ve categorized your artworks into different editions, each with its own unique focus. How do you decide which edition a new piece will belong to?
Each edition I create represents a different facet of my artistic exploration. When I start a new piece, I consider the emotions and themes I want to convey. If the piece is more experimental or personal, it might belong to a more limited edition, where I can push boundaries without the constraints of commercial expectations. On the other hand, if a piece is designed to embody luxury and exclusivity, it will likely be part of a special edition like the Billionaire Edition. The decision is intuitive, based on the essence of the work and the message I want to deliver.
The Trendsetter
Your story involves significant highs and lows. What kept you motivated during the most challenging times of your journey?
During the toughest times, what kept me going was the belief that art was my true calling. The early struggles taught me resilience, and every setback only fueled my determination to succeed. I also found motivation in the support of my wife and the few individuals who believed in my work.
Creating art became not just a passion but a form of therapy and self-expression. The thought of one day seeing my work appreciated by others kept me moving forward, even when the path seemed impossible.
You’ve achieved remarkable success without the support of galleries or art dealers. What strategies did you use to connect with high-end clientele?
Without the backing of galleries or art dealers, I focused on building direct relationships with my clients. I utilized social media to showcase my work and tell my story, which resonated with many people. I also attended events and networked with individuals who appreciated art, which helped me gain exposure. My work itself, with its unique combination of traditional and luxury elements, attracted attention from high-end clients. Word-ofmouth recommendations and personal connections have been crucial in building my clientele.
Why have you decided to introduce your art to the Saudi Arabian market, and what do you hope to achieve with your limited-edition pieces there?
The Saudi Arabian market is known for its appreciation of luxury and exclusivity, which aligns perfectly with my art. Introducing my work there is an opportunity to connect with a sophisticated audience that values both tradition and modernity. With my limited-edition pieces, I hope to offer something truly unique that speaks to the region’s rich cultural heritage while also appealing to contemporary tastes. My goal is to establish a presence in Saudi Arabia that celebrates the intersection of art, luxury, and innovation.
What do you believe sets your art apart in the luxury market, and how do you continue to innovate while maintaining your signature style?
What sets my art apart in the luxury market is the fusion of ancient techniques with modern opulence. The use of the encaustic method, combined with luxury materials like 24-karat gold, creates a distinct and timeless appeal. To continue innovating while maintaining my signature style, I constantly explore new materials and techniques while staying true to the core elements that define my work. I believe in evolution, not revolution— each new piece is an opportunity to refine and expand on the ideas that have always inspired me.
Looking forward, what are your aspirations for the future, and how do you see your art evolving in the coming years?
Looking ahead, I aspire to push the boundaries of what’s possible with my art. I want to explore larger-scale installations and perhaps collaborate with architects and designers to integrate my work into luxury spaces. I also see my art evolving through the continued exploration of new materials and techniques, always with an eye on balancing tradition with innovation. Ultimately, my goal is to create pieces that not only reflect my personal journey but also resonate with a global audience, leaving a lasting impact in the world of luxury art.
What advice would you give to aspiring artists who face skepticism or doubt from others about their vision?
My advice to aspiring artists is to stay true to their vision, no matter the skepticism or doubt they may face. Every artist’s journey is unique, and it’s important to trust in your own process and intuition. Challenges and criticism are inevitable, but they can also be powerful motivators. Surround yourself with people who believe in you, and don’t be afraid to take risks and experiment. Most importantly, let your passion for art guide you—if you are dedicated and persistent, your work will eventually find its audience.

UNVEILED ON THE FASHION RUNWAY, RIYADH AIR AND SAUDI ARABIAN CREATIVE DIRECTOR
ASHI REVEAL STUNNING COLLECTION DURING
HAUTE COUTURE WEEK IN PARIS
Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new worldclass airline and fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), in collaboration with the Saudi fashion designer Ashi, founder of Parisian couture house ASHI Studio, has unveiled its first-ever fashion collection, during Haute Couture Week in Paris. The airline took to the runway in style showcasing its stunning new lifestyle collection for its frontline team members in the fashion capital of the world. The exclusive fashion line is made up of dozens of male and female looks, of which 15 were revealed during the most prestigious fashion week of the year. The luxury Riyadh Air concepts unveiled in Paris comprised of timeless cashmere outerwear, dresses and trousers made of fine wools, custom leather footwear, amethyst earrings, and iconic pillbox hats, all of which are inspired by 1950s airline fashion, widely considered as the ‘golden age’ in aviation, but with bold, modern styling for a future-forward brand. The reveal evening was attended by distinguished guests from near and far which included senior stakeholders, diplomats and celebrities that all attended to be a part of the historic moment in Paris.
Riyadh Air and Lucid, maker of the world’s most advanced electric vehicles, also took the opportunity during Haute Couture Week in Paris to reaffirm their shared commitment to sustainable transport and eco-friendly practices. Lucid and Riyadh Air have an innovative partnership with a shared vision for the future of sustainable transportation exploring the collaboration across co-marketing, commercial, and operational streams for guests.
For the new fashion line, Ashi has cultivated completely new color tones for the looks, including the chic and elegant Electric Amethyst for womenswear, and Dark Amethyst for menswear, of which the full collection is scheduled for launch early next year. The unique amethyst shades pay homage to Saudi Arabia’s stunning lavender fields and are rooted within Riyadh Air’s primary color. The Saudi fashion designer took inspiration from the Riyadh Air aircraft livery to deliver completely bespoke colors for the new timeless collection. They were also carefully designed to complement the cabin interiors which will be revealed later this year.
Ten womenswear looks were showcased on the Paris runway, each of which were complemented by accessories such as trademark shoes and hats. Five menswear looks were also unveiled during the first-of-itskind Haute Couture Week showcase.
The fashion collection, to be worn by Riyadh Air cabin crew, pilots, concierges, and airport agents, can be changed seasonally, keeping the looks fresh all year round.
Ashi cleverly included distinctive Riyadh Air elements within the concepts, such as the iconic canopy twist found in the Riyadh Air brand, and incorporated them in the lines, shadows and the silhouettes of the new fashion line.
The coats and jackets worn at the Paris launch also include the same modern lines as seen on the Riyadh Air logo. Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas said: “This has been a landmark occasion for Riyadh Air, and it shows just how far we’ve come in a short space of time. For a start-up airline
to be showcasing our new fashion collection during Haute Couture Week in Paris shows what an impact Riyadh Air is having globally.
Working with Ashi on these designs has been a tremendous experience for all of us and we’re all very proud to be able to show off the creations and the full range early next year. We have no doubt that the fashion line will soon be recognizable to people all over the world, and that the designs will leave a lasting impression on our guests by the proud team members that wear them. When you get up close to the garments you can see the level of detail and intricacy that Ashi has included, which is in complete alignment of our values and attention to detail at Riyadh Air.”
Ashi, Founder and Creative Director of ASHI STUDIO said: “Designing for the new national airline from Saudi Arabia has had a big impact on me knowing that we are making a mark in history. Fashion and aviation have seen collaborations in the past, but its pinnacle was over 50 years ago and I was keen to be inspired by that time. This is an amazing collaboration where fashion is helping to make an airline modern with completely unique looks. It shows that Riyadh Air has no limits and that luxury and attention to detail is key across every aspect of the experience. It’s another first for Riyadh Air and I’m proud to collaborate with the airline.”
“There is a practicality aspect of the fashion line that means it’s easy and
comfortable to wear. We wanted to have the theme of the collection to pay homage to the golden age of aviation, so I took that literally and went back to the 1950s when luxury aviation was at its peak. What we’ve done here is modernized the lines and pushed them to be more relevant but with the glamour of the golden era,” he added. Ashi has been collaborating with Riyadh Air for nearly a year on the design of the fashion line with the color development taking over six months alone. Riyadh Air is on track to make its maiden flight in 2025, revolutionizing the future of air travel through a premium aviation experience for both guests and team members. With an unwavering dedication to cutting-edge thinking and innovation, Riyadh Air aims to set new standards in the industry.
CAFÉ BOULUD RIYADH TO CELEBRATE THE CULINARY CREATIVITY OF FAMED FRENCH
CHEF DANIEL BOULUD AT FOUR SEASONS
HOTEL RIYADH AT KINGDOM CENTRE
SEASONAL MENUS FEATURING INVENTIVE TWISTS ON TRADITIONAL FRENCH CUISINE TO MARK THE DEBUT OF CAFÉ BOULUD IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Classic and contemporary French cuisine will soon be on the tips of tongues, literally and figuratively, in the capital of Saudia Arabia, as Café Boulud Riyadh readies for its debut later this year at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre. The buzz-worthy modern restaurant serving inventive twists on
traditional dishes by world-renowned Chef Daniel Boulud will satiate a growing appetite for French cuisine among locals and visitors in the city, playing off on Saudi Arabia’s embrace of global culinary experiences that is inspiring innovation at the luxury end of hospitality across the country.
Set to be located on the Lobby level of Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, Café Boulud Riyadh will showcase Chef Boulud’s celebration of the culinary traditions of Lyon, as well as his embrace of seasonality, with menus that change in keeping with availability of the best and freshest imported and local ingredients.
Raised on his family’s farm in Saint-Pierre-deChandieu, a small village not far from Lyon, Chef Boulud was steeped in French culinary traditions and the wonders of fresh ingredients from a young age. At 15, he entered his first apprenticeship at the eponymous, two-Michelinstarred restaurant of Chef Gérard Nandron in Lyon, and by 17 he was honored as a finalist for the Best Culinary Apprentice in France.
Since arriving in New York in 1982, Chef Boulud has established himself as one of America’s leading culinary authorities. After working as Executive Chef at the famed Le Cirque in New York City, Chef Boulud began dazzling palates on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on his own with the opening of his two-Michelin starred flagship Restaurant Daniel in 1993, followed by the original Café Boulud New York in 1998. Café Boulud currently has locations in Palm Beach, Toronto, and the Bahamas as well as New York.
The Café Boulud brand is especially meaningful for Chef Boulud, as it is named after the original Café Boulud started on his family’s farm outside of Lyon, France by his great-grandparents. Chef Boulud’s rendition of this heritage is focused on four inspirations: La Tradition – the classic dishes of French cooking; La Saison – the seasonal specialties of the market; Le Potager – the vegetable garden; and Le Voyage – the exotic flavors of the world’s great cuisines. The first Café Boulud in the Middle East will serve artistic offerings all its own, fashioned in collaboration with Chef Daniel Boulud and Executive Chef de Cuisine Nicolas Lemonye, who brings a decade and a half of experience at highly rated restaurants in France, Indonesia, the U.S., and the Middle East. Lemonye knows both the creativity and exacting standards of Chef Boulud intimately, having spent seven years
working in the kitchens of Daniel in New York City and Brasserie Boulud in Dubai. “We are very much looking forward to introducing the essence of French cuisine and the culinary creativity of Chef Daniel Boulud to our guests, locals, and travelers from around the world with the debut of Café Boulud later this year,” said Guenter Gebhard, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh. “With appreciation of classic cuisines from around the world growing here in Saudi Arabia – and nothing is more classic than French – we have the right restaurant at the right time to make a significant impact & elevate the dining scene here in Riyadh.”

FEMALE EMPOWERMENT IN SPORTS BY DR. MAJED GAROUB
Saudi Arabia is experiencing a transformative era, particularly evident in the evolution of its sports sector and the empowerment of Saudi female athletes. Historically, women have been pillars of determination, belief, and ambition. Today, with the robust initiatives led by the Saudi Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, their dreams are rapidly becoming reality.
Sports federations in Saudi Arabia are now vying to host local and international female tournaments and to nurture a new generation of female athletes who will represent the Kingdom on the global stage. These efforts encompass securing athletes’ rights, providing protection, ensuring fair contracts, offering top-tier training, nutrition, and most importantly, safeguarding their psychological well-being. The Kingdom’s commitment to female empowerment in sports is spearheaded by passionate leaders like HRH Reema Bandar Al-Saud, a member of the Board of Directors at the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and President of the Women’s Sports Committee. She is joined by esteemed members such as Dr. Maha Al-Juffali, President of the Saudi Special Olympics Federation, Mrs. Adhwa Al-Arifi, Mrs. Abeer Al-Fouti, Mrs. Samia Jabarti, Dr. Lana bin Saeed.
Saudi Arabia is witnessing a remarkable transformation, marked by the significant rise of women in leadership roles across various sectors. This trend is especially evident within the Ministry of Sports and extends to numerous other governmental and institutional bodies, including the Ministries of Tourism, Foreign Affairs, Commerce and Investment, as well as the General Entertainment Authority and the Public Investment Fund.
An illustrative example of this empowerment is the growing number of women who are CEO’s of Sports federations such as Saudi Paddle federation, Saudi Climbing and Hiking federation, Saudi Sailing federation, Saudi Sports for all federation and Saudi Surfing federation.
Saudi Arabia is a fertile ground for talent, as evidenced by leaders like Dr. Arij Mutabagani, President of the Saudi Tennis Federation. Dr. Mutabagani, a tennis enthusiast and player, is dedicated to promoting tennis in a nation of 35 million from the ground up.
Mrs. Reem Alfaqir, President of the Traditional Sports Committee, leads initiatives that promote and preserve the cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia. In a similar vein, new federations like the Saudi Yoga Committee, chaired by Mrs. Nouf Marwaai, are gaining recognition. Marwaai, the first certified yoga teacher in Saudi Arabia, has been a yoga practitioner since 1998, inspired by personal health challenges.
Princess Ghada Al Saud, President of the Saudi Netball Federation Committee, is dedicated to fostering participation at all levels, recognizing excellence, and assisting talented players in achieving their goals through netball.
Saudi Arabia’s rise in sports is not just about nurturing athletic talent but also about establishing clear rights and regulations to support and protect female athletes. These include gender equality, anti-discrimination, anti-bullying measures, fair legal contracts, sponsorship opportunities, marketing, advertising, and participation opportunities.
The Kingdom’s strategic focus on female athletes ensures their holistic development and success, paving the way for a promising future in sports for Saudi women.
LONGEVITY : FROM SAUDI ARABIA TO THE GLOBE
DR. FAISAL ZAGZOOG
In the last few years Saudi Arabia has charted its course for healthcare future, with a special emphasis on longevity, especially that it became a necessity rather than a luxury that the future of humanity depends on.
One of the key factors of vision 2030 is increasing the life expectancy of Saudi Arabians to 80 years. In order to achieve that outcome, studying the factors and cofactors, keeping in mind the research and development support to all R&D institutions and individuals is a must.
To support this concept, the Saudi government has launched a large foundation called Hevolusion in 2021. The foundation is a non-profit global organization that provides an early stage investment to incentivize independent research and entrepreneurship in the field of health span science.
Innovation in longevity is considered as one of the main pillars in finding different modalities in prevention, treatment, quality and technology, particularly that innovation is considered at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s strategy. Which also plays a crucial role in advancing medical services.
To conclude, to healthcare related outcomes, there will be a large impact on the large economical aspect, by having a better quality of life, allowing humans to live their life in an effective way, which will be reflecting on the whole future of humanity and the globe.
CAN SAUDI ARABIA CHAMPION SUSTAINABLE SPORTS?
BY DINA ALNAHDY, CHAIR, CIRCULAR ECONOMY CO.
From the vast lands of Saudi Arabia, young athletes like Dunya Abutaleb, celebrated for her victory in Taekwondo, dream not just of personal glory but of a future where sports and sustainability intertwine—a vision deeply rooted in Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030.
In Saudi Arabia, sports venues like the King Abdullah Sports City aren’t just stadiums; they are testaments to sustainable innovation. Solar panels gleam in the desert sun, and carefully collected rainwater nourishes the fields. This harmony between sporting excellence and environmental responsibility is a microcosm of what Saudi Arabia aspires to achieve.
As the Kingdom gears up for the 2034 FIFA World Cup bid, the Esports World Cup, and the growing sports enthusiasm in the country, it finds itself at a crossroads. The fervor surrounding these events presents an opportunity to redefine the sports industry through the lens of sustainability.
Quality of Life and Community Wellbeing: A Core Focus
Saudi Vision 2030 emphasizes improving quality of life and community well-being, with targets for renewable energy, waste management, and biodiversity conservation. The Ministry of Sports is embedding sustainable practices
in sports initiatives to promote healthy societies and uplift local communities. The focus is on advancing environmental sustainability in sports, with initiatives aimed at waste reduction, material reuse, and recycling to promote a circular economy.
Learning from Global Sporting Events
The world has witnessed glimpses of what’s possible. The carbon-neutral Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, the eco-conscious Paris 2024 Olympics, and the sustainable legacy of London 2012’s Olympic Park are all stepping stones towards a greener sporting future. These events provide valuable lessons on integrating sustainability into mega-events, with innovative solutions in carbon management, water conservation, and waste reduction.
However, we must also consider the challenges, as seen in the Paris 2024 Olympics, where the opening cerenemy garnedred critism and the Triathlon was abruptly interrupted due to pollution in the Seine River, highlighting the importance of environmental and social considerations in sports planning.
Consider these examples from global sporting events:
• Carbon Management: Qatar 2022 achieved carbon neutrality, offsetting 3.6 million tons of CO2 through
reforestation and renewable energy investments.
• Water and Waste Management: Paris 2024 reduced water usage by 30% and diverted 85% of waste from landfills.
• Sustainable Infrastructure: London 2012’s Olympic Park, built with 25% recycled materials, continues to serve as a sustainable urban space.
• Biodiversity Conservation: Rio 2016 restored 44 hectares of mangroves, creating new wildlife habitats.
• Education and Awareness: Tokyo 2020’s Medal Project recycled electronic devices into medals, raising awareness about e-waste.
Saudi Arabia’s Sustainable Sports Initiatives
Saudi Arabia is already making strides in sustainable sports:
• Diriyah E-Prix: Utilizing renewable energy, waste management, and community engagement, reducing its carbon footprint by 25%.
• Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Implementing biofuels and electric shuttles, significantly reducing carbon emissions.
• King Abdullah Sports City: Integrating solar panels, rainwater
harvesting, and efficient waste management.
• Boulevard Riyadh City: Emphasizing green spaces, energy-efficient lighting, and waste reduction, promoting sustainability among visitors.
The Kingdom isn’t just hosting mega-events like the 2034 FIFA World Cup and the Esports World Cup; it’s aiming to redefine them. At Circular Economy Co. (CEC), we foresee stadiums that breathe life into the environment, leaving a legacy of green spaces and clean energy. Picture athletes who are not only champions on the field but also advocates for a sustainable planet.
Facing Challenges with Innovation
Saudi Arabia’s journey isn’t without its challenges. The arid climate demands innovative water solutions, and waste management requires a shift towards circularity. Yet, with a commitment to local knowledge and cutting-edge technology, the Kingdom is poised to lead the charge. Understanding the local environment, social networks, and governance systems ensures that sustainable sports initiatives are not off-the-shelf solutions but tailored to Saudi Arabia’s unique context. These initiatives are curated and implemented by local sustainability advisory firms and consultants.
A Unified Effort for a Sustainable Future
Saudi Arabia’s leadership, driven by the visionary HRH Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud and supported by a closely aligned circle of ministers, underscores a unified effort across all levels of leadership. This includes key figures in sports, such as HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal and HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar, who are instrumental in achieving the country’s ambitious goals. The current sports fervor in Saudi Arabia presents a unique opportunity to raise awareness and galvanize action towards a sustainable future.
Conclusion
The question isn’t whether Saudi Arabia can champion sustainable sports; it’s how far it will go. With a generation of athletes like Dunya Abutaleb, Mashael Al-Ayed, Abdulrahman Al-Rajhi, Zaid Al-Sarraj, Mohammed Tullo, and Ramzy Al-Duhami leading the way, the Kingdom has the potential to inspire the world, proving that sporting excellence and environmental responsibility can indeed run hand in hand.
These athletes are the embodiment of Saudi Arabia’s future—a future where sustainability and sports go together, #GrowingTogether, and where every achievement on the field is matched by progress in environmental stewardship. This will be the story of Saudi Arabia’s sustainable sports revolution.
THE ESSENCE OF TRUE LUXURY “YOU ARE THE PRODUCT OF YOUR OWN DREAMS”
BY ENG. SORAKA SARIA AL-KHATIB
In the realm of opulence, where dreams unfold, True luxury is a story, beautifully told. It’s not just in the jewels or the silk’s soft gleam, But in the mirror’s reflection of your own dream.
Love yourself first, accept what is true, For the person behind the mirror is none but you. Embrace your realities, move on, open new doors, Create fresh dreams, let your spirit soar.
Be careful what you wish, for wishes come true, Dream big, follow your intuition, it’s all up to you. From body to aesthetics, to health and looks, See the person you like, in every corner you’ve booked.
Luxury isn’t a place, it’s a state of mind, Contentment in self is where it you’ll find. So stand tall, with a heart that gleams, You are the product of your own dreams.
Dream, dream big, let your spirit flow, For true luxury is in loving the person you know. In the mirror’s embrace, see the reflection of glee, True luxury is in being content with thee.
May this poem inspire those who seek more, To find luxury in themselves, and their spirit explore.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN ROYAL RESERVE
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF THE INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN (IDMP)
Today, the Board of Directors of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve Development Authority, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, announced the launch of the Reserve’s Integrated Development Management Plan (IDMP).
The plan is a comprehensive roadmap in line with global standards, covering the environmental, economic, social, tourism, and cultural aspects of the 24,500 square kilometer Reserve, which includes 15 distinct ecosystems, ranging from mountain ridges to coral reefs in the northwest of the Kingdom.
The plan enables the efficient and effective management of the Reserve. It establishes key guidelines for restoring and conserving wildlife in line with the latest global standards,
including guiding species reintroduction plans through modern technologies, and setting a framework for developing and enhancing the ecotourism ecosystem. This includes Red Sea Global’s AMAALA tourism development, which is located within the Reserve. The Reserve also features in four sites on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List for the Kingdom and is aiming to become the world’s most famous heritage tourism destination for environmental conservation, whilst achieving the necessary balance with the needs of the local communities.
The Integrated Development Management Plan follows the completion of intensive studies to determine the historical and current state of the Reserve’s environment and the steps needed to restore the ecosystems, flora and fauna to the state it was in a century ago. The Reserve is home to 15
Wadi connecting to coast in Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve
distinct ecosystems, ranging from mountain ridges, through life giving wadis to the coral reefs of the Red Sea, creating an exceptional level of biodiversity. Twenty-three historically occurring species have been selected for reintroduction, 16 of which are extinct within the Reserve’s borders, four are Critically Endangered, and three are Vulnerable according to IUCN listings, including the iconic Arabian oryx, Arabian leopard, and cheetah. An extensive habitat restoration project supports this wildlife reintroduction program, aiming to protect and conserve the Reserve’s 400 plus native plant species. The Reserve aims to become a tourism destination that offers visitors a diverse terrestrial and marine experience while simultaneously ensuring the protection of its ecosystems and biodiversity.
The Kingdom is committed to working with the international community to address
the world’s environmental challenges. Key activities such as reducing carbon emissions with the aim of reaching net-zero by 2060, continuing to build the Kingdom’s renewable energy infrastructure, increasing reforestation, and enhancing biodiversity, including wildlife and species reintroductions, are underway. The launch of the IDMP contributes to the Kingdom’s leading position in wildlife reintroduction and conservation, as well as the strategic objectives of the Royal Reserves Council, which focus on protecting wildlife, afforestation, enhancing ecotourism, and providing job opportunities. The adopted objectives of the Royal Reserves support the Kingdom’s efforts in sustainability and environmental conservation, contributing to the Saudi Green Initiative’s goal of protecting 30% of the Kingdom’s terrestrial and marine areas by 2030.
Volcanic pinnacle in Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve
Andrew Zaloumis, CEO of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve Development Authority, internationally recognized for his pioneering work in establishing reserves of global conservation value and regional economic impact, said:
“The building blocks are in place to deliver the promise of the IDMP by 2030 – a Reserve of global conservation significance rooted in community.”
We have reintroduced animal species, discovered several species new to science, and trained and deployed an effective ranger team of 150 local men and women who play a pivotal role in our mission.”
“Thanks to the passion of the Saudi Arabian leadership and the investment and commitment of the government, we are pioneering new techniques and technologies to complement tried and tested management and conservation practices.”
“We look forward to sharing the results of our work with the wider conservation and scientific community.”

The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve Development Authority includes local and international experts who lead research and development efforts, enhancing international and local partnerships, and promoting cooperation frameworks to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and the application of best environmental practices. Their research efforts have contributed to the identification of new species of animals and plants across the Reserve’s diverse terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
Given the Reserve’s range of ecosystems and strategic location connecting the major projects of NEOM, AMAALA, Red Sea Global, and AlUla, and its partnerships with many specialized local and global entities, it is planned that by 2025, animals will be able to roam freely through a 70,000 km² environmental corridor, contributing to the
wider regional environmental restoration efforts, as well as creating rich experiences for ecotourism and achieving the necessary balance with the needs of the local communities and the creation of around 5,400 job opportunities.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve is one of eight Royal Reserves established by Royal Decree and overseen by the Royal Reserves Council chaired by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

INSPIRING NEW FILM FOR THE PENINSULA SPOTLIGHTS THE TRANSCENDENT ALLURE OF TRAVEL
THE CHRONICLE OF A TEAM MEMBER’S IMMERSIVE ROUND-THE-WORLD JOURNEY IS THE LATEST ITERATION OF THE LEGENDARY BRAND’S GLOBAL “PENINSULA PERSPECTIVES” CAMPAIGN
For the newest instalment of its global “Peninsula Perspectives” brand campaign – which honours both the personal histories of its employees, and the distinctive cities around the world that it calls home – The Peninsula has released an uplifting film featuring Kam Tsui, a tenured team member at its flagship hotel with an iconic role as one of the hotel’s Peninsula Pages.
The spot aims to illuminate the legendary hospitality brand’s longstanding commitment to cultural exchange, and to facilitating that exchange through the sharing of meaningful experiences.
Kinship Beyond Words
A Page at The Peninsula Hong Kong for the past decade, Kam has greeted thousands of international guests to the iconic property, and to his home
city. Despite being unable to hear or speak, his warm welcomes have made a lasting impression on visitors from all over the world. Prior to his participation in Peninsula Perspectives, however, Kam had never travelled himself.
The campaign offered Kam a singular opportunity to take a round-theworld journey, to visit the dozen cities where The Peninsula’s peerlessly elegant and luxurious hotels are located – and to document his encounters with these enchanting locales for the first time. During his travels, he was welcomed at each destination by fellow team members, who guided him on local adventures.
“For his many years with us, Kam has personified the profound connections that can be made between different people, with different backgrounds and ways of communicating,” said Gareth Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, owner and operator of The
Peninsula. “It made perfect sense to invite him to experience that sense of rapport on a grander scale.”
A Journey of the Senses
The film follows Kam’s adventures in these stunning destinations, where he marvels at magnificent sights like Japan’s Mount Fuji and Paris’s Eiffel Tower. He also uses his other senses to take part in each city’s distinctive cultural traditions: moving his body through the meditative, flowing motions of tai chi at The Temple of Heaven in Beijing; feeling a baseball connect with his bat in Chicago’s Les Miller Field; touching the vibrations of traditional Thai gong chimes in Bangkok.
No matter what new place he visits, Kam discovers that he is received as a member of the Peninsula family – with the same graciousness and courtesy that he has himself offered for so many years to guests in his hometown.
“Interacting with others from different places can be challenging, especially as a deaf person,” said Kam at the end of his journey. “But everywhere I travelled, I was met with sincere smiles and expressive body language, and invited to share experiences that made me feel welcomed and included. I have learned the world is a beautiful place, filled with warm-hearted people.”
About Peninsula Perspectives
In January 2023, The Peninsula launched its new global brand campaign as a way to pay tribute to its destination cities, and to the employees – ranging from baggage handlers and drivers to interior designers and chefs –who contribute to its hotels’ highly personal guest experience.
The campaign encompasses a series of video spots in which numerous Peninsula team members reflect, in their own words, about the personal journeys that led them to The Peninsula, and the relationships they have cultivated with the cities where they live and work. The campaign has also included a collection of print advertisements featuring photographed portraits of Peninsula team members poised in home-city locations that hold deep personal significance for them.
Kam’s film is the first Peninsula Perspectives instalment that portrays a journey through sensory exploration rather than voiceover narration.
The collected videos, portraits, and stories of The Peninsula Perspectives campaign can be seen on dedicated website, www.peninsula.com/perspectives.

In the bustling heart of Riyadh, where the city's energy never seems to wane, there lies an oasis of tranquility and indulgence – The St. Regis Spa. Positioned as the largest and most luxurious spa in the city, it is the ultimate destination for those seeking a full-day retreat dedicated to relaxation and rejuvenation.
Upon entering The St Regis Spa, one is immediately enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance and calm The design, with its modern yet timeless aesthetic, is a testament to the spa ' s commitment to luxury and comfort. Every detail, from the serene color palette to the carefully chosen furnishings, has been meticulously curated to create a space that feels both opulent and inviting
For those seeking the ultimate in privacy and exclusivity, The St. Regis Spa offers a luxurious suite that provides a full private experience for both individuals and couples This secluded sanctuary allows guests to indulge in treatments without any interruptions, creating a personalized spa experience that is second to none Whether it's a solo day of pampering or a shared escape with a loved one, the suite offers the perfect environment for deep relaxation.
While Riyadh is home to many high-end spas, The St Regis Spa stands out not only for its size and opulence but also for its unique appeal to a diverse clientele. Interestingly, despite the city’s strong tradition of female spa-goers, The St. Regis Spa has emerged as the most attended spa by males in Riyadh. This surprising trend speaks volumes about the spa ' s ability to cater to the modern man who values wellness and self-care just as much as their female counterparts With tailored treatments and an ambiance that resonates with both men and women, The St Regis Spa has redefined the concept of luxury wellness in Riyadh.
The St Regis Spa is more than just a place to unwind; it is a sanctuary where every detail is designed to soothe the senses and rejuvenate the soul Whether you are a resident of Riyadh or a visitor seeking a slice of paradise in the city, a day spent at The St. Regis Spa is an experience that transcends the ordinary, offering a journey into the heart of relaxation and luxury.
