I think we could all agree it's easy to go online and order something you want or need off of Amazon, or choose to go to Walmart because it's a one-stop-shop. What if we shifted our spendings to local shops instead? Jeff Bezos might not get excited every time you order something on Amazon, but small store owners are thrilled to have people shop in store or online! Supporting local business is so important in a community, especially since 2020 was so rough for all of us. Here is a list of some locally owned businesses in BR for you to support, categorized by food, gift shops, and clothing.

It’s safe to assume that you and everyone else are sick of being bored and stuck at home. While it may be tempting to go out and meet up with your friends, it would be safer to just stay home. Boring, I know, but it doesn’t have to be! You can still learn new things, meet new people, and laugh for hours with your friends, all from the comfort of your home. Whether you’re missing concerts, game nights or group yoga, you can still do the things you love from your laptop.
