Leaning against one of the cherry trees I felt a combination of joy and melancholy, a love both bitter and sweet, like all the loves I have known.

Despite their bittersweet quality, They have all made me a richer human being. In spite of the way the sakura petals fall all too quickly from their trees, They never fail to bloom again.
