String of Love

PALETA VI

The warm beds were the death beds Of those children who were sleeping When the bomb was dropped by a jet That penetrated the roof then exploded Walls were torn apart Ceilings were ripped off Window panes were shattered Dust and fire scattered Life was murdered Unlucky those who got killed Much more unlucky those who survived As they will weep eternally And didn’t know exactly When the next missile will be And where it will land And when the plane will stop flying And how many tires must be burned to protect the town From the raging dragons And where will be his sisters, brothers, mother and father And when they’re going to see each other’s faces Or if they going to see each other again And when will a man be a human And when will the chain of hatred Will become a string of love
