anticipation of our spring release. Who’d have thought? Issue Two already? I feel as if theTwentySIX and I were still stretched out on the couch just having produced 124 pages of content, trying not to think about the rest of 2014. But as the days of winter began turning into the months of spring, the views grew, and we Suburbia, getting ready to humbly ask you down-on-our-knees request for love thank you note but in some sort of way it is. 35,000 of you chose to spend your precious time with our last issue. I was similarly humbled and honored all at once. Then again, it doesn’t take much to make me happy. Thank You. As they say, however, there shall be no resting on one’s laurels when there is work to be done and we’ve spent the last two months making this issue even better than the last. At least, I hope so. I hope that you enjoy Suburbia just as much as my team and I have enjoyed creating it for you. And please, send gin.

the AUDI allroad shooting brake To partially borrow a term crafted by another luxury auto the Audi allroad shooting brake to a tee. Making its debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Audi’s concept provided both a preview of the third generation TT coupe as well as a fresh take on just what a modern and sporty crossover ought to be. The shooting brake concept combines the elements from Audi’s latest muscular design language, an extra urban-

The all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid setup mates a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine with two electric motors driving the front and rear wheels. The shooting brake sprints 0-62 MPH in 4.6 seconds and can travel up to 30 miles on batteries alone. This could conceivably lead to a production run not only of a hybrid version, but also the option of a four or six cylinder conventional engine running on a diverse choice of fuels like gasoline, diesel, or compressed natural gas. I hope VW puts this concept into production, if only so I can
