OUR MISSION To Provide Comfort, Care, And Support To Children And Families In Southern California

OUR VISION A Community Where Children And Their Families Embrace Life And Healing With A Sense Of Hope, Enthusiasm, Courage, & Joy.

Since its inception in 1980, the ever-growing Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House continues to be a cornerstone in the Southern California medical community. What began as a simple house with 16 rooms, just footsteps from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, is now heralded as one of the world’s largest Ronald McDonald Houses, providing temporary housing for as many as 75 families each night. Driven by the excelled innovation of Los Angeles’ worldclass hospitals in the treatment of specialty illnesses, LARMH has kept pace, expanding twice to support over 2,400 families ann ually by alleviating the travel-related financial woes that are inherent in seeking specialty medical treatments far from home. Nearly three-quarters of the families in residence are low-income and represent the cultures of over 40 different countries. Thanks in part to the 12,000 hours contributed each year by a host of community volunteers, the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House continues to remain free of charge for the families of children und ergoing specialty care for pediatric cancers, heart disease, and neonatal treatments. As one of the 349 Ronald McDonald Houses world-wide, LARMH is dedicated to #KeepingFamiliesClose, providing a Home Away From Home no matter how far away home might be. Home is Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House. To learn more about the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House, to volunteer, or to become a sponsor, please contact Julee Brooks, Executive Director, jbrooks@rmhcsc.org or 323-644-3080 or visit us online at www.rmhcsc.org/losangeles.
