Hello Wanaka or who is still left here anyway. It has been pretty clear that town is starting to empty at the end of another season and looking back overall it has been a pretty well behaved lot other than a few who spoil it for all the good people out there.

Over the last week we have had damage caused by bottles thrown damaging property in Reece Crescent. What was the point of that!

There was a reported theft of cane lanterns from the Pancake stall next to the Brownston Street Laundromat. A vehicle in Allison Avenue had a window smashed and entry was gained.

An Audi vehicle pulled out in front of another on SH6 at the top of the Luggate Hill forcing the other vehicle to the side of the road. Then a passenger in the Audi threw bottles at the other car. Again somebody who thinks the world owes them.

WRONG! Vehicle collided with another when following too close. No surprise here it’s a sure fire way to get someone either very frustrated or end up in a crash or ticket.

Someone has made a committed attempt to break into the back of a business on the lane between New World and Helwick Street. Thank goodness the premises were well constructed and security measures had been taken, so no entry was gained.

A male was arrested after he breached the liquor ban and was seen swinging on a sign and repeatedly kicking another sign. Very childish behaviour if you ask me.

A youth was dealt with in relation to consuming alcohol at the Skate Park and his following behaviour has him facing charges. A number of other youths were involved in this matter and will also to be spoken to. Know where your kids are and what they are doing a good reminder for us all.

We are also looking for anyone who saw the driver of a light blue Subaru station wagon leaving the rear of Racers Edge and going on up Ardmore Street before he crashed on Anderson Road around 11pm on Monday the 8th of October.
