YOUR BEHAVIOR COUNTS STUDENTS AND PARENTS OF THE WOODEN FLOOR ARE EXPECTED TO: • Show respect toward all students, teachers, parents, staff members, and visitors • Demonstrate and uphold the values of The Wooden Floor: Respect, Community, Stewardship, and Excellence • Plan ahead and take responsibility! Log onto TheWoodenFloor.org/StudentsOnly to view a weekly schedule. Also remember to check the schedule daily for last minute changes. The password may be obtained at the front desk
We are committed to creating a safe environment that protects everyone at The Wooden Floor. Behavior that jeopardizes the health, safety, or well-being of The Wooden Floor students, faculty, staff, parents, or guests is not permitted. The Wooden Floor has the option to dismiss a student or family if inappropriate or unsafe behavior is exhibited, including but not limited to: • Foul language, especially when directed at another person • Verbal abuse, humiliation, teasing, and gossiping
• Communicate with staff
• Physical abuse
• Arrive on time for classes and all activities related to The Wooden Floor
• Bullying
• Attend mandatory meetings including Academic Advising meetings • Refrain from eating inside the building; including Academic Advising meetings or the dressing rooms, and use the courtyard instead at both locations • Refrain from chewing gum anywhere on campus, including in the courtyard, at either location • Remember that electronic devices, including cell phones, may only be used in the Sutton Lobby of the Main Street location and in the courtyards of both the Main Street and Depot at Santiago locations – they will be confiscated if used elsewhere

• Prejudice or discrimination of any kind, including any of the “isms”: racism, sexism, etc. • Discrimination regarding sexual orientation or gender identity • Discrimination against religious choice or practice • Any destruction of property, including graffiti • Gang involvement • Inappropriate or offensive attire • Inappropriate use of social media such as threats, perceived threats, bullying, humiliation, gossiping, or harm.
