Crowdfunding

Angel Investors

Crowdfunding is becoming an increasingly popular method of raising financing for start-ups without going down the traditional banking route. Crowdfunding involves pooling together a series of smaller loans from investors, many of which may be private individuals, to create a larger pool of money to be invested into the business. Crowdfunding leverages a wide network of people to collect the capital required.

Angel investors are high net worth individuals who are willing and able to provide relatively small amounts of funding to help new businesses get off the ground. The typical angel investor will be knowledgeable about and experienced in the industry they are investing in, and will therefore be able to bring invaluable expertise to the table as well as much needed capital.
