35 Shoya Ishida is a boy who hates boredom. As an elementary school student he was a bully, and chose transfer student Shoko Nishimiya as his target. However, one event with her left him isolated. Now 5 years have passed, and both have grown up in different high schools in different places. Ishida had closed his heart and so he visits Shoko. This is a story about a boy trying to embrace a girl, the people around him, and himself.
