2019/20 Issue 8 - Tytherington Rocks

EDITOR'S NOTES Good afternoon and welcome to today's Hellenic League match against our local neighbours Tytherington Rocks. Since playing in the County Cup 4 years ago, we have managed to keep a 100% head-to-head record against Rocks, with them struggling at the bottom of the table. However, things seem to be on the up on the other side of the A38 with them on track for their best points tally since then. Under new management, we can't be complacent today. Thank you to everyone who came to our FA Vase game against Cribbs. Unfortunately the result didn't go our way, but the team put in a great performance to take a very strong

Cribbs side all the way to extra time. After next Saturday's away game at Bourton Rovers, we have a run of 3 home games against Cirencester, Cheltenham Saracens and a GFA Cup game against Patchway. Your support really helps the team, and hopefully we can get a string of good results in the lead up to christmas. Finally, welcome to all the children and parents from the Under 8s here today. Hopefully you enjoy the day and come to another game soon! You can read some words from their manager on page 27. Enjoy the game! Tom Shorey Programme Editor
