Dance Star World Dance

Congratulations to Melanze le Roux, who represented SA at the Dance Star World Dance event in Croatia during May. She obtained the 3rd place in the Hiphop group category! Melanze is part of the Made2Move Dance Studio in Brackenfell, and performed in the Jazz and Acrobatic dance categories as well.

Western Province Rugby Chess Tournament

We would like to congratulate the following learners on making the Western Province u/13 Rugby Teams.

Ndumiso Ngidi (Gr 6) and Kamogelo Maruma (Gr 6) were in George for the Western Cape Individuals Primary Schools Tournament.

It is such an honour to have these two young gentlemen representing Bastion Chess and we wish them all the best!

Dance achievements

Cassidy Lakey (Gr. 7T), who is currently representing SA at the Dance Star World Dance event in Croatia, achieved a 1st place in the Hip Hop A league group category. Well done, Cassidy! We are extremely proud of your achievements.

Anushke le Roux (Gr. 6JC), who is currently representing SA at the Dance Star World Dance event in Croatia, achieved a 2nd place in the Acrobatic Dance junior group category.

Anushke is part of the Made2Move Dance Studio in Brackenfell, and also performed in the Jazz category. She will be performing in the Modern Dance category later today, before returning to SA. Well done, Anushke!
