rtifacts found on the shores of Botany Bay indicate that the area was first settled more than 1,600 years ago. The found materials – which include decorative ceramics and spiritual pieces – as well as architectural ruins on the property have been the subject of considerable attention by archaeologists, who have successfully petitioned to add the site to the National Register of Historic Places. Bearing in mind the site’s historical importance, we have taken many steps to ensure low-impact development at The Preserve at Botany Bay, paying rigorous attention to architectural design and landscaping, focusing on erosion- and sediment-control measures during construction, and protecting the coastline, beaches and reefs.

We are working with archaeologists, botanists and local historians so this treasured site will not only be sustained, but also evolve as a place of discovery for generations to come. This environmental awareness is more than something our Owners expect – it’s part of who we are.
