Royalrecognitionwith honours

Anumber of people across the Stafford and Stone area have been honoured in the Offley, Regional ChiefNurse, Midlands and East NHS England &NHS Improvement, for services to Nursing and the latest HM The Queen’s Honours List.

The list of honours include: OBE for Margaret Isobel Bernadette Kincade, of Stafford, tax specialist for HM Revenue &Customs, for services to the taxation of the oil industry; MBE for Josepha (Josie) Hannah Morris, of Stoke-on-Trent, Managing Director of Woolcool in Stone, for services to manufacturing and theEnvironment; MBE for Ian Andrew Noons, of Yarnfield, Custodial Managerat HM YOI Drake Hall, for services to HM Prison and Probation Service; MBE for Siobhan Reilly, of Bishops Covid-19 response; BEM for Janet Hewes, of Gnosall, for services to the community in Gnosall. Alan White, Leaderof Staffordshire County Council, said of the Queen’s Birthday Honours: “When Isee the achievementsofthose Staffordshire residents who have been honoured by Her Majesty,Iaminvariably impressed by their spirit, their achievementsand their commitment to making the world abetterplace. “Staffordshire has many strengths and natural assets, but invariably its biggest is the peoplewho make up our many communities.” Mr Ian Dudson CBE, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire, added:“Iam delighted that Her Majesty has recognised so many residents, who have made asignificant contribution to their community,either professionally, or in avoluntary capacity. “I would like to congratulate all of these worthy recipients on behalf of thewhole ceremonial county of Staffordshire -we share their pride and pleasure in this notableachievement.”
