Vordersvan CAROL Vorderman has swapped her luxury mansion for a campervan. The 60-year-old splashed out on a £40,000 motorhome after leaving her sprawling pad when she put it on the market for £2.6m. The TV star decided to put her beloved mansion Sloblock Hall – a Countdown anagram of "B*****ks" Hall - up for sale in Bristol last year, and she is now heading for a life on the open road. The mum-of-two, who also has a home in her beloved Pembrokeshire, will be converting her new MAN TGE van into a stunning motorhome, which she has already dubbed "Vordersvan." The vans sell as new for between £38,000 and £47,000 depending on whether they are automatic or manual transmission.
Baldwin incognito Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin was a surprise VIP visitor to the quiet Hampshire town of Alton recently — and at least one resident thought he was a tramp living rough. The Hollywood actor, who is worth $60m, had been shooting his upcoming movie ‘97 Minutes’ in the UK countryside, and residents of Alton couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the star checking out the local kebab shop and Co-op supermarket. Alton resident, Caroline Benham, told The Times she had seen the star looking like a 'tramp' in the Co-op supermarket. Murat Mencoglu, the owner of kebab shop Murat's Kebab House, added that he 'couldn't believe his eyes' when he saw Alec delivering a video monologue to camera during a weekend stroll outside his store. The Hollywood actor recorded a series of videos while walking around Alton, and the shopkeeper admitted that he was grateful to the actor for the 'great publicity'. Baldwin, 63, is trying to rebuild his reputation since a prop gun he was holding went off on the set of his now-abandoned Western ‘Rust’ in October, killing 42-year old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
