David Hollingsworth, Lawyer AS OTTAWA INJURY LAWYERS, we hate breaking the news to people about the repercussions of loaning your vehicle. Most people don’t realize that when you lend your vehicle to someone else and they are involved in a collision and are at-fault, your auto insurance policy may be the policy that ultimately pays out for any injuries or damages if a personal injury claim is made. In the end, this could cost the owner of the vehicle because as we all know, insurance rates can increase once a claim is made. These costs can range. On the lighter side, the owner of the vehicle may have to pay a deductible; however, depending on the circumstances of the accident, the owner of the vehicle could be on the hook for a lot more. For example, if the borrower is in breach of a condition of the insurance policy; perhaps their driver’s license was expired, or perhaps they were charged with distracted driving (texting while driving),

the owner’s insurance company can possibly deny insurance coverage. If this denial were to occur, the owner may personally be responsible for any losses suffered. If the accident is serious in nature and someone is seriously injured, this could mean that the owner of the vehicle could be responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars or even millions of dollars in compensation. In Ontario, lending your vehicle to someone else could potentially put you in a vulnerable situation. While you may think throwing your buddy the keys to take your car is no big deal, our Ottawa injury lawyers caution you to think long and hard about this decision. Who knows if your friend might throw their friend the keys. Your good standing with your insurance company could potentially be at risk, should the borrower get into an accident. A whopping 82.49% of the respondents answered the question positively and confirmed that they “are attentive to this kind of information.” Social media networks play an important role in shaping the company’s image and how it is perceived by customers. Researchers stated that the study result has given an insightful conclusion that “the company’s image is related to all three constructions: the users’ social influence, the organizational promotion and the perceived image in OSN (online social networks).” Many other studies have stressed on the importance of social media networks for businesses. This Research for instance has dealt with the importance of virtual

As stated by the study, “virtual communities offer several advantages to e-tailers and opportunities for the interaction with members of virtual communities consumers”. The study stated that “social presence is a determinant of trust in a retail website.” In order to build a good relationship with customers and win their trust, an online business needs to maintain a good social presence so the customer feels as if they are “with a real vendor. This feeling comes from the emotion during the interaction with the website” researchers stated. Social media use continues to grow in a significant rate. Companies need to take advantage of prospective clients that can be reached by these networks and include social media in their marketing and overall business strategy. Shakespeare's Fine Dining TOP STEAKHOUSE RESTAURANT OF 2016 IN HAMILTON IT’S NO SECRET THAT one of the best-known restaurants in Hamilton is Shakespeare's Fine Dining. How many people would know that it also serves ostrich filet mignon or wild boar? When Chef Franco Putignano started his restaurant in 1969, it began as a steak house. But over the years, as the public's tastes changed, so did the menu. Now customers can choose between prime U.S. choice corn fed beef steaks, wild game including caribou and venison and an extensive selection of fish, including live lobster, fresh salmon, swordfish and more. The fish, just like everything else that is served, is personally selected each morning from Hamilton suppliers to ensure freshness. Not only does Mr. Putignano strive to bring his customers the finest in dining fare, he regularly travels to Europe to personally select wines for his table, offering the best selection in the city. "To me, good food, good wine and good service all go together," Mr Putignano explains. "I want people to have the best dining experience possible, and I want them to feel at home when they're here.”

The menu also features a "Heart Smart" selection of dishes which are low in cholesterol and salt. It's been approved by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and reassures diners that healthy eating need not be bland and boring. Shakespeare’s commitment to customer satisfaction has developed a large clientele most of whom are regular customers. Celebrities such as Tom Jones, Liberace, Gordie Howe, Wayne Gretzky, Tom Cochrane, Mark Messier and Martin Short have also made their way to Shakespeare’s Fine Dining - and that’s only naming a few! The long hours - 9 am to 1 am, Monday to Saturday - may be taxing for some, but Mr. Putignano has made it a family affair. His son, Leo, manages the dining room while his daughter, Christina, bartends in the restaurant. Their mother, Nicole, handles the bookkeeping and weekend hosting duties and his son-in-law, Peter Smith, also assists in managing the restaurant. "I don't mind the long days," he says "I've got the business in the blood, and I love people. I

work longer hours now, but I love it." he adds. "During the recession, we didn't cut back on quality-we always tried to do better. And it worked." Today, with over 45 years in the restaurant business, Mr. Putignano has countless awards behind his name - fitting recognition for his dedication to providing the best to his customers for so long. "Nothing comes easy. You have to work hard," Mr Putignano says, "I feel proud of my family, my staff and my restaurant. And I'm proud to have been a part of Hamilton for 40 years."
