POV 7/30/15 I saw this story about the Police Officer making His first traffic stop ever. At least that’s what it sounded like to me. From all the facts I could tell in the story, and the personal body cam that police officers wear these days. Caught Him dead to rights. In my opinion and remember I said opinion. The Officer seemed to be mentally immature. Physically He was 24 years of age, but it sounded like to me more like His mental age was 16. He sounded like a kid, having His first police experience. Anxious to use His weapon. He disregarded the fact that all the evidence that the use of His weapon was unnecessary. Police Officers are taught these days to undergo a great deal of psychological testing. Before you draw your weapon, you have to make absolutely, positively sure that it is the only thing to do as a last resort. For my self I would like to see this officers psychological evaluation. The man did not even have a weapon, and He was not being that combative or argumentative. He was just perturbed for being stopped for such a minor violation as not having a front license tag. I have always been told that only one tag is required on the back of your car anyway. Over the years I've also realized, that being misdiagnosed, with the wrong mental age can make life twice as hard for a person with a disability. I've heard of stories with PhD's and Doctorate's in psychology using their children as guinea pigs. Mostly back in the 50"s, and sometimes these days too. The children are locked up in cages like animals. I've even heard of it happening to some Adult Disabled people who are locked up in their bank accounts get cleaned out by their caregivers. Also Sometimes the parent's of children with disability's can be off their rockers, and raise their children with odd behaviors and odd ways of looking at things in the world today. But I've heard it has always been said their is no guidelines on how to raise a child. Doctor Spock tried but actually it's all trial and error. For a disabled person being raised like that, even with the disability it makes life two or three times as hard. That makes it unfair for that person. Because as He gets older society is liable to just roll over Him, and through Him out with the garbage (Figuratively speaking). Thanks for reading this and if you get a chance follow the link to the video, and watch the story about the police officer. Thanks Toppy C. If you get a chance check out my book. which is published online.
