Lafayette Academy offers specialized approaches, proven to increase SAT scores. After completing a take home assessment, the student is placed in either the Standard Class to improve overall scores or the Accelerated Class to fine tune test taking techniques. The assessment will determine the best class for your child, but we always take your family's needs into account when scheduling. The twoclass model is designed for success in pursuit of a college journey. Give your student that extra edge needed to stand out in an intensely competitive college admissions process. VOLUNTEENS: COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM Age 12-15Y | Town Staff
Counselors In Training (CITs) learn game leading techniques, discipline strategies, and how to gain and keep the attention of children in a summer day camp setting. Participants register for one of the interview time slots. If selected for a position, the counselor in training must commit to volunteering 2 consecutive weeks at one of our 6 camp sites in addition to attending our mandatory parent meeting on May 5. CITs will also be invited to attend various staff training sessions June 2-5. If selected for the program there is a program fee of $50 for residents and $60 for non-residents.
