Come learn how to paint with acrylics, mix colors and explore acrylic textures and techniques. Learn to paint a landscape and/ or a still-life. All levels are welcome. Optional $10 fee payable to the instructor to provide you with supplies or you may bring your own. Suggested materials for students to buy: Acrylic paints set (matte colors), multipurpose brushes, pallet, painting paper pad or canvas size 11 x 14 inches or any similar size. Introducing Modern Calligraphy Club as the beautiful and modern style of calligraphy done with brush pens or Crayola supertip crayolas. This club will focus on using brush pens with varied pressure to make basic strokes. Club members will write one prompt every month with some styles and calligraphy techniques. Modern Brush Pen Calligraphy class, in which students will learn to write beautifully with brush pens and create beautiful cards. This class is designed for beginners and starts off with introducing you to the basics of using, holding, and writing with brush pens. Students will learn the fundamental strokes, alphabets, letter connections and do final word compositions. Students will also learn to do background and embellishments. At the end of the class students will make a hand lettered project such as a card or a quote that can be framed.
